Well, as we were counting our luggage we realized one was missing and so was our car seat. We had to go and file a complaint so we were not outside when the shuttle arrived. We called again and they came right back over. The driver was so kind. There were five of us and we were just going to ride over and come back with the car. She was so kind and told us there was enough room for everyone and we did not need to bother trying to come back. She put all the bags in the car made sure all of us and our kids were buckled in safety. She was thoughtful of passenger safety and comfort. When we got to the area where the cars were we were assisted immediately. It was hot so we were offered water. Not just me inside getting paperwork but my entire family of 5. Continues to be a great experience. We were told at time of rental we were getting a Durango to accommodate our entire family, but a Traverse was driven over when we got outside. The person in the office had the driver bring over a Durango, he told us that the Traverse really had more room, but we were welcome to take either one. That was truly exceptional. He was not angry and was extremely polite even though he had been asked to go to the trouble of driving over a different vehicle. We went with the Traverse as it was roomier. In the end we had a 2014 vehicle that was nearly new and was comfortable for our entire family and left with an exception al customer service experience. The cost was very reasonable; especially for the size and quality of car we were given. I will use this company when I travel to Wisconsin again.

When I asked how much of a discrepancy she told me "a couple gallons" which shouldn't equate to $30. This was absurd. Will not be returning!

The car drove nicely and had a full-tank range of 480 miles. On the return, the staff was so amazing and asked questions about the car and were talkative and friendly. I wasn't in a hurry and was glad people are talking to people again. Ari checked me in and verified my fuel tank and sent me on my way to the terminal. Thanks for the warm welcome back to the airport!

Sometimes, I even enjoy that feeling of pulling into the Aisle, and running to the coolest car you can pick, with the conquered feeling of joy that you beat a fellow traveler who was eyeing that exact car. However, this place yield far from any emotion other than sadness. This place does have an Emerald Aisle, however, is about a boring a selection of cars as you can get. The only selection you have to choose from is a color assortment of Impalas, Malibus, and Cruze's; all of which do not have heated seats, sun roofs, and some cars don't even have a back up camera. If you want an all wheel drive, you have to pay extra, if you want even a Hyundai, you pay extra. I'd totally enjoy this place more if they allow more diverse rental cars for Emerald Club members, similar to the selection you can get if you rent from Ohare.

The interior was disgusting and smelled like an ashtray. (Ironic since they upcharge a $400 cleaning fee for smoke or dirt). When I went back to the office to address the manager, she was very combative towards me and gave me the run around- the customer apparently is not important. I asked for a refund, and she was extremely rude to me. Will never go there to rent again, and it has diminished my opinion of Hertz overall.

I would never have found the place if I hadn't gotten a ride there to begin with. I called a week in advance to schedule a pick up from Hiller Ford, 14 minutes away. They told me to call them when I get to Hiller Ford, because if I make their drive wait 10 minutes, they will leave and leave me stranded. I told them I would be on time (I had another appointment 30 minutes later, so I wasn't gonna be late), but they said no soup. OK, so I call them when I get there, and it takes the driver about 40 minutes to pick me up. On our drive to the location, I find out that he had gone out to grab coffee since things were slow. (I called at 8:30 AM) Our drive takes about 30 minutes to get back to the hotel - the driver never got on the freeway, and actually took detours, saying that he was taking the better roads without traffic. Which was true, less traffic, but also the loooong way around. The driver spilled coffee on the cup holder. I didn't know this would be my car, but it was. I got a car with wet, dirty cupholder. But otherwise, the driver was actually pretty nice. I had to cancel my 9AM appointment, but once I did, I was in no hurry, so I just grinned and bore it. Arrival at the Sheraton Hotel - which is where the little Hertz office is. I walk down the hallway, and see a girl holding a broom and sticking it inside their window. She had apparently locked herself out, and didn't have keys, so she was using the broom to open the door from outside. It didn't look like it was her first time doing it. It was quite comical, but she was not happy about it. No apologies to me, the customer, no jokes, no greeting, just grunting while she's trying to get the door open. Meanwhile, the phone is ringing inside. she finally get the door open, then rushes in to pick up the phone. Rather than putting the person on hold and taking care of me, who was there first, she begins to help out the phone caller. I'm standing in their tiny little office, not sure what to do, since the girl never really acknowledged me. Then, on the phone, she is asked a question and begins to look up the information on the computer. Without putting the caller on hold, or muting the phone, she turns to me and asks for my name and whether I have a reservation. (Of course, she then says, "No, I'm not talking to you". But she's talking to the phone) After getting my driver's license, she starts helping the phone person again. It was multitasking bonanza. I'm not sure whether to be mad at her for being so unprofessional/rude or amazed for her being able to juggle it. I was not expecting to have to pay for anything since my insurance was taking care of everything, but she demanded that I give her my credit card for a deposit for incidentals. OK, if you're taking money out of my credit card, you need to let me know for how much, and why. I shouldn't have to hold out my card and ask all this. But then again, she was with another customer at the same time. At this point, another girl walks in, and my girl is able to toss the phone customer over and attend to me. At this time, I find out that there are actually 2 callers she was talking with, since she tells the new girl that "person hold 1 needs this and that" and "hold 2 is asking for this and that." Again, I'm not sure whether to be amazed or offended. Anyway, I'm given the keys to the car and dismissed. I'm wondering why we aren't doing the walk around, and ask her. She says, "oh, we have all that done already. The car is all ready." This is really, really unprofessional. First, I don't know when they did the walk around, but I had just taken a drive in it, and the driver hadn't come in yet, so she doesn't know whether any dings may have occurred during this last ride. Second, the whole walk around is for us to do together so there is no doubt later on if there is damage. At least go through the motions! I did a walk around on my own with a phone camera and documented all the dings and scratches. Other than all this rude mess, the girl was not friendly but answered all my questions.
