This little bus is packed with so many joyful things to look at, I almost felt like I should have donned a Patrick Starfish costume. Next time! The boat theme was spot on, down to portholes and seasick bags! We were taking on the city Laverne and Shirley style plus 6 girls to get out of town and have some fun. I think I may have sprouted some abs, all be them well hidden from view, from the amount of laughter that ensued on our travels. We used our local beer pass as a starting point and we had Shelly's guidance to take us to the best destinations. She knew all the hidden treasure locations, pointed out so much about the city and made us feel like we were her new best friends. Logistically, the "boat" is set up with two bench seats facing each other, you can have great conversations with friends as well as face forward to see what is up and coming on your excursion. There is forward facing seating in the far back. The aisle was big enough to bring a cooler on board with plenty of room to get around. The windows were quite large to take in all the sights and of course to shout a hearty "Happy Saturday" to all we passed. If you are reading this and heard the shouts from a weekend in October 2021, yep, that was me! Really, who doesn't love compliments and 90's music floating on the wind on a sunny fall day?!? Really, the only thing I wish for would be that the S.S. MKE was in my town that I could book something with them more often. While this trip was my first adventure, it undoubtedly will not be my last! Shelly is absolutely worth her salt and then some! If nautical nonsense be something you wish...set sail with the S.S. The owner became argumentative with me when I expressed frustration, and she blamed me for it. It was extremely unprofessional and very childish the way she spoke down to me. She said I never confirmed booking. I've attached my email showing proof of my confirmation. I was trying to organize the event with 13 other people at three different pickup locations. So, it took me a while to get back to them with all the exact details. But when I did, she said we were still good; until about a week later when I got the email saying they had to cancel because they wanted to go to the concert instead of fulfilling their commitment to us. So, if you need a reliable service, this is not it.

Zero stars…read more Horrible day of wedding service for my daughter's wedding on July 25, 2026. I rented a 24-passenger shuttle bus from this company for transportation from the reception to church and back to the reception. When I booked the reservation with Stephen, he told me the bus would be air conditioned. This was an important factor in my decision because the wedding was scheduled during the summer, and I wanted our guests to be comfortable. On the day of the wedding, the temperature was approximately 80 degrees with high humidity. About 20 guests, including several elderly family members, rode the shuttle from the church to the reception. The interior of the bus became extremely hot and uncomfortable. Numerous guests commented on how warm the bus was to me after they got off, and it was clear that the cooling was not providing a comfortable environment. I got on the bus before it left for the reception and I didn't think it was working at all. After the wedding, I contacted Stephen to express my concerns and requested a reasonable partial refund. He stated that the air conditioning was working properly and explained that a full bus on an 80-degree day would naturally become hot. He declined to offer any refund or other accommodation. The air conditioning worked only for the bus driver up front - absolutely nowhere else. My concern is not simply that it was a warm day. My concern is that the shuttle did not provide the level of comfort I reasonably expected based on the company's representation that it was air conditioned. Whether the system was malfunctioning, inadequate for the vehicle, or otherwise unable to keep passengers reasonably comfortable, the result was that the service did not meet my expectations for a premium transportation service on an important family occasion. I've traveled on DOZENS of buses over the years and heat outside doesn't affect properly working air conditioning. Very poor of this company to not even want to listen to the customer. When I called after sending an email, I was told to "be quiet as he was going to do the talking." Wow. Absolutely floored at how bad this customer service was. Stay away! Wow.

A few days later, I started to search for ways to attend, and used all the usual ticket resale sites. Finally, I came across a Bowljet listing on eBay. I found a 100% positive rating, and a BBB rating of A+. After a little more reflection, I finally pulled the auction-purchase trigger. Ever since, I've been glad I bypassed the normal path to bowl tickets, and found Bowljet. Tickets: commemorative paper tickets delivered by priority mail two days after order, along with contact information and a couple of commemorative bowl lapel pins. Communication: Fast response from seller, and follow up phone calls from Bowljet "host" (staying at same hotel). Hotel: Very good quality room for three nights, pool view, free parking pass, vouchers for breakfast three mornings at the hotel restaurant (a buffet, which included made-to-order eggs at the kitchen window). Shuttle: to and from the game, reminder phone call from host, attendance check departing and returning. The package did NOT include flights, rental car, or lunch/dinner, which suited us just fine. Of course, we also took care of gratuities for hotel maid, restaurant server, etc. Overall, the package was a great value! Thanks, Bowljet. You exceeded our expectations. We needed a trouble-free vacation with our team, and you delivered. The seats were so good, we even got a few seconds of TV time to amaze our friends.
