GHETTO!!! If i could give a zero star i would. Accidentally left a personal item on dashboard in rental after i returned. The kicker is I left my rental at 11:59p last night called this morning at 10a. Car has not been loaned to anyone else and just finished being "cleaned" but my item is not in rental claims the front desk guy. He also said that the guy that just finished cleaning it did not see it. RIGHT! 2 hrs into them having my car and now my item was not in car. Not surprised being that when i picked up my rental the lady in line next to me was complaining about being given a rental with dead tags. am a frequent Enterprise customer, renting vehicles at least monthly--and often weekly--for business travel. Unfortunately, my most recent experience was by far the worst I have encountered. Upon arriving 30 minutes early for my reservation, the manager on duty became visibly irritated. He was unprofessional and confrontational throughout the rental process. I observed him informing another customer--a Caucasian military member--that he could not rent a vehicle without providing two phone numbers, a requirement I have never seen listed in Enterprise's official policies. After significant difficulty, including my husband needing to intervene on my behalf, I eventually received the basic economy vehicle I had reserved--well after my original pickup time. The manager's demeanor was consistently rude and dismissive. When I returned the vehicle two days early and politely asked for an approximate timeline on when any toll charges might post, he instructed a staff member to tell me he had "no idea" and that I should call the 800-number. His employee appeared visibly embarrassed by the interaction. I remained courteous and professional at all times. This experience fell well below the standards I have come to expect from Enterprise. I hope management will investigate this location and the conduct of the manager involved. read more

Update!! They still have not contacted me after 3 different representatives told me they would send the district manager an alert to contact me to resolve the issue and they have yet to contact me. I have waited for emails and phone calls. All broken promises and a refund has not been issued. This is so messed up this business scammed me of $300 that was the deposit i left and i got a dirty car with mysterious stains and smells. read more

I needed a vehicle for the week for work... Made a reservation here, since I'm National Executive and they're the same company. The only issue I have is when I get a Wagoneer from National, it doesn't cost more, but here it was double what I would have paid through National. Also, when picking it up, the guy who helped me inside was efficient and quick. Then he asked a different person to bring the car around and get me checked out - That guy took forever! He went back in a couple of times to ask questions and tried to charge me again. I prefer the smooth, efficient process that National has over the way Enterprise does it. read more

Horrible customer service!!! I reserved a Premium SUV to be picked up at Stafford location, the total cost was going to be around $2555.70 When I got there in the morning Monday the 15th, Hana was the representative she asked me for my license and payment (she didn't even say hello or smile) which I handed her after she charged me, Hana had Standard Yukon for me I told Hana the Customer Representative who was helping me, that is Full size SUV and not Premium SUV, Very Rudely she interrupted me and said no that Premium. I told her no, the standard Yukon is the same size as the Tahoe, which is the Full size, and before I could explain to her that XL Yukon is the Premium, she again cut me off and said no, what I'm getting is Premium, she dismissed me and told me "That's your car outside goodbye". I said OK walked outside and waited for her to come out and go over the car but that didn't happen few minutes later a gentle man walked up to me and said if I'm ok, I said no apparently that's the car I'm getting but no one is here to check it out, he apologized and went inside got the Tablet and checked out the car to me. The car has multiple Scratches and is totally dirty and the inside of the car smells like Feet, they could have at least washed the car, and just seeing how dirty it is makes me wonder if they sanitize the inside of the car at all, which I doubt. I drove to my office and went by the Enterprise here and talked to the manger Dulac Elizabeth, who was very nice. Showed Dulac Elizabeth the Fairfax Manger the scratches and how dirty the car is. I contacted Enterprise and they informed me they had given me FULL SIZE SUV and not PREMIUM, and they had charged over charged me for PREMIUM, they placed a compline and said the area manger Matt Hale matthew.w.hale@ehi.com would contact me back with in 2-3 business days. I even wrote him myself. It has been 10 days since my first complaint. I have placed over 4 calls to Enterprise Escalation line and it's the same answer the manger or the area manager will contact you. At this point I don't think Enterprise cares at all about there customers and are only out to rip people off. The Full size to rent for the days I selected would have come to $1879.73. She charged me $2555.77. This is a switch and bate, and total dishonest practice. And not to mention Hana the manager had a very bad attitude, and rude. Today Aug 24th I dropped off the car, and let the manger know how unsatisfied I was, she could care less until I mentioned I have contacted the Enterprise Escalation line and want to talk to her area manager. At that point she changed her tone and said we can fix it but there is no way of knowing how much it would have cost? I pulled out a picture of when I was booking with the rates of both cars and showed her, she didn't like that and said Well if I do that it will make your cost more. I said how it says 1879.73, she argued there is tax, I informed her the tax has been calculated on Enterprise app and web dashboard it shows you the final total cost not a penny more. She still didn't like it and suggested we look at the rates for today and she will give men what ever it says. So, we pulled up the app the rented the same car for the same days and time, it came up to 1480.57 total and I showed her that the tax and fees have been calculated in total. She took that number and added charges to it and charged me $1982.18. This manger and representative of Enterprise has no idea how her own app and web browser works, she doesn't know the difference between Full size and Premium. read more

I reserved a car online a few days a head of my trip. When I went to pick it up, my car wasn't there and there were no other cars available to take. I waited an hour before I could get a car. The car I had originally reserved had to be picked up by an enterprise employee, only to find out that the gas tank was empty so I had to take another car. During my hour-long wait for a car, there were two other customers, who also reserved cars ahead of time, waiting for cars, since they weren't readily available. One of these customers reserved a luxury car and was told by an enterprise employee that that car wasn't available and that his only option was to use a ford explorer (at the same price). Overall, the customer service and location is horrible. I am appalled by how I (and the other customers) were treated and have second-hand embarrassment for this company. Do yourself a favor and look elsewhere for your rental car needs. Enterprise-no need to respond to my comment as I have no need or desire to further discuss this issue. read more

Let me explain the single star. I made a reservation for a Saturday first thing. Read through the website. Everything seemed okay. They called me to confirm. To be fair, my phone connection was poor so not everything was conveyed. When I get there, they start asking me for things I had no prior knowledge was to be required to provide. When I asked why I wasn't previously informed, the lady behind the counter instantly became defensive and her professionalism degraded. She began treating me like a nuisance. Horrible customer service!! I had the displeasure of dealing with "Hannah" during my rental period. Very rude! When we went outside to wait for the car she just pointed and said go ahead. I had to ask her if she was going to walk around it, make notations of any notable damage. It was raining and I don't think she wanted to get wet but after I asked she did a quick circle around the car and said good to go. My dealings with her on several occasions throughout my rental period were always with an attitude, like I was bothering her. When I asked who her supervisor was she just kept telling me she could give me the corporate number. I kept asking who she reported to and finally she gave me an email but then laughed over the phone when I repeated the email back for verification with an error. I'm not even sure the email was for her supervisor. And I'm not even sure when/if I will get my $100 deposit back! Stay away from this location!! read more

Where to start. First stafford enterprise in garrisonville were 20 mins late picking me up at the repair shop. I had to put $100 deposit down which was no problem. When I returned the car I was expecting to get my $100 back. I only got $40 back. They said they kept the $60 because of the upgrade of the car that I got which I didn't request. They said they would put the money back into my account. I got $54 back. I called them back and asked where the remaining $6 was. They told me that was taxes. You can not tax a deposit! I looked at my account this morning and they put $5.90 in my account. Why did they keep the $.10. I'm not worried about 10 cents I just think it's odd that they could not do it in 1 transaction. Plus they gave me the car with 3/4 of gas. I've rented cars in the past and they always had a full tank so it is easier to put the right amount of gas back in the car. This was my first time getting a rental car with Enterprise and I had a great experience with them! The staff are very accomdating and professional! Check-in and Check-out was a breeze! I loved the vehicle that they gave me! It was a very nice vehicle, a like-new 2018 Nissan Sentra! It looked like it has been taken care of, however, there were sticker smudges (because of it being new) on the vehicle but it wasn't a big huge deal to me because they told me that it was the newest vehicle they had recently bought and everything was great! They picked me up and gave me a ride to the Collusion Center where I was getting my car repaired at! Rented a car over the phone but when I called for pickup they transferred my reservation to another branch who refused to honor the price I had been quoted. This forced me to either pay double or return 8 hours before I had planned. When confronted on the issue after already at the location after being picked up at my hotel, the clerk decided to be snippy instead of sympathetic or helpful. She could have called the other branch to clear it up or honored my original deal. Or offered me a ride to the other branch. Instead she quoted me company policy as if I should know it. She also failed to inform me that there wouldn't be a ride back after I dropped the car off in sub 30 degree weather. read more

First of all the assistant manager Taylor was very ignorant about a comment she said to me when I walked in, assuming I was with a Hispanic guy who had already been waiting there for minutes. So I already knew this was going to be bad. They took extra charges from my debit card and did not relay to me that they could do that and manger Jessica was really rude and nasty about it when I asked her if there was anything they could do cause I haven't received a call on my phone they've called someone else. read more

When we returned the vehicle, we were told we would be held liable for 5 pen sized pocks marks on top of the trunk. We explained to the woman that when we were checked out and pointed them out to the woman who checked us out; she used a clear dollar bill sized gauge, and stated that since the damage was smaller than her gage it was not an issue. The woman at the return said that since there was more than one, it would be an issue and she would have to file a claim. I told her that we would not allow that and that changing the policy with out notifying us was an unfair practice. We even did them a favor and took the less desirable economy car vs. the mid-sized car we were promised. It did not have fuel. Plus it was dirty and smelled of cigarette smoke. It should be noted that the 5 small marks were under the same layer of road grime and grit that was on the car when we picked it up. The woman explained that, "she had her JOB to do." And explained that she needed to fill out a form. As we waited patiently, she typed away. Then she stopped and asked us for our insurance information. I again stated to her that we did not do the damage to the vehicle, it was there when we picked it up, they changed the grading standard from when we picked it up to when we returned it, and we do not authorize her to file a claim against our insurance, and at this point we do not authorize any charges to our credit card. At his point the manager finally stepped in. He blamed it on the first woman that checked us out. Who was very sweet and helpful (she gets the one star). When I explained that that woman was not the problem, that it started when we walked in here today, he became sarcastically gave and apology. Then begged for us to accept it. For a location so close to a military base, I am surprised as a veteran, that my wife, who is also a veteran would be treated so poorly. read more

Twice in a 1 week time frame they had no cars and took my reservation. The 1st was setup on their website and the 2nd was through usaa. Both times "no cars and nothing they can do". This exact place upgraded my car to a more expensive rental because they were short on vehicles. I don't know how you make me sign my paperwork for the rental on a tablet but can't digitally manage your inventory. Poor management and subpar customer service has turned this into an awful experience. Use Avis or budget they were able to help when enterprise failed and their cars were better quality. read more

Customer service is HORRIBLE! I reserved a car a couple of weeks out, with particular specifications such as Sirius XM Radio. When we got there to pick up the car they stated that they only had 2 cars left and neither had my specs. I went on to ask what the point was in making a reservation with my desired requirements, if I wasn't going to receive a vehicle that met my needs. Both youngsters that assisted (I use that word lightly) me acted as if I had the problem and my question was ridiculous. I was told that, they reserve "a car" and don't ensure it has what I want. Why give me the options when reserving online, if it's not really an "option?" The male youngster had a nasty attitude! No one wants to be held accountable so they give you some asinine response that you are suppose to just smile and say "ok" to. I will absolutely never rent from that location! I reserved a van online with My USAA visa debit. Had on problem with it. I was called to confirm my van. No problem. I was dropped by my a friend to pick up the van also because they don't pick you up after 4:30. When I went in side and gave to african american men my USAA visa debit card " he said you can not use that card" I did say are you F*@ing kidding me it is a USAA visa. Then he was mad because I dropped the f balm. Then he would not rent me the van because he did not feel comfortable renting it to me. I have never had a problem renting a van before. I have rented them before to move around firefighters at the airport with the same card and never a problem. Maybe it was that I'm just a small Women that was getting a Big Van. Maybe we were having a bad day. It will never be a problem again because I will not go back in to there place again. As a Service Member, Fire Truck Mechanic, And a class A CDL driver. I think it is a shame. Yes maybe I should not have dropped the f balm. I just could not believe my ears that I could not use my card. read more

The company that picks you up....just not when you need it!!! No cars available....no staff available....location outside of our radius.....the list of excuses runs long! After calling the Stafford, Dumfries, Woodbridge and Fredericksburg locations, it's clear Enterprise needs to revamp their marketing campaign. There is no such thing as immediate pick up. Service arranged through insurance claims appears to receive low priority. My reservation was submitted yesterday afternoon around 6:30 pm....no service because they were all closed. Called first thing in the morning and no service until 12:00 (please scratch the immediate pick up from your advertisements)....it's fraudulent!!!!! read more

I reserved the car online and called the office to get a pickup. But nobody was sent to get me and when I called back after waiting some time, they sent an Uber driver out to get me. No problem there, I understand something like that. But when I went to get the car the lady behind the desk would not accept my perfectly valid ATM card and insisted that I give her a bunch of private information from friends and family as references. My question was, why would I give Enterprise Rent-A-Car such information if I have a perfectly valid ATM card. I was given some crap story about people stealing cars using ATM cards and I flat refused to give away the private information of my friends family. At that point I was told well you will not be renting from us and that was the end of it. my guess is they want this private information which includes phone numbers and email addresses, so they can harvest that and send out spam but I'm not participating in that kind of crap and so I wanted to leave this review for everyone to see. read more

Was once a loyal customer for years with Enterprise itself but after some recent visits along with some customer service issues as well as "claims of damage" that was obviously preexsisting Im furious. Also on two different occassions they let our rental go out with maintenance req. light on and when asked how they could let a vehicle go out like that I was told " oh we send our vehicles out in bulk to get serviced and sometimes they get sooo busy they forget to reset but dont worry. WEll I have if I wanted to drive around in a car that I had to worry about and pay for the rental I would have just drove mine. On most recent visit I made sure I did a full inspection I mean I opened doors looked inside and everything and pointed out some damage to asscoiate checking us out and even though we purchased your insurance I made it known!!!!! after doing walk around I left my husband to sign off on paperwork cause I needed to go. Had I known that I needed to babysit your employee I would have stayed!!!! So beyond pissed this is no way to run a business and deal with customer issues! read more

My rental was partnered with my Insurance company and the collision center in Stafford, Va. Pick up went well unfortunately when it came time for drop off communication went down hill. I spoke with Jazmon the agent to let her know I would be bringing car to collision center and did I need to call her to come get the rental and she said "no we call them several times daily". Six days later she called my Ex-husband ( his number was on file) didn't get that. She tells me I need to return rental or they would charge my credit card. I remind her it was dropped off six days earlier. She calls me back next day and says she got it straight (doesn't apologize) then I get and emailed invoice charging my insurance company for the six days I did not have the rental. I informed my insurance company and they were not happy. Never again. read more

Don't rent from this location. I had a rental while my mini van was in the body shop. They told me that I could leave the rental mini van at the body shop and they would pick it up. No problem there bu a week later I noticed my $100 deposit had not been refunded. When I called to find out why they said that it was caked in dog hair from the front all the way to the cargo area. That is completely impossible since I never had a dog in the van and the only place any one ever sat was in the driver's seat and passenger seat. Pete told me he had tried to call me numerous times which I can prove was a lie because I have no missed call or voice mails from him and I can show them my phone statement. I left some folders in the car and when I talked to Kay she said she would look and get back to me but she never did. Then when I called to find out about the cleaning fee Pete miraculously had them. This has been escalated to their district manager and I 'm waiting for a response. It seems they are running a scam. If you don't have an employee there to go over the car when you return it they can say whatever they want about the condition and then try to charge you additional money. I learned my lesson. I am also putting in a complaint with my insurance too. read more
