My son was beginning his DMV road test, when the instructor noticed that the front left signal light was out. He was already nervous, but this really heighten his nerves. My vehicle was taken in to address a rough idle. The shop failed to find the issue and claimed that the alternator was broken although it was functioning properly when dropped off. I was then overcharged for the replacement alternator. On top of this, there was a failure to address a warning light on the odometer. And, finally, I had a bad interaction with a lady hired for customer service. I would not recommend going to Integrity Automotive. read more

i took my f150 for a diagnostic test and trying to resolve my problem and i was giving the same codes,that advance auto gave me. Their diognostic test are a rip off. customer service was very poor,do yourself a favor and go to advance auto andhave your diognostic test done there,test done in ten minutes and its free,one hudred twenty five dollars for the same diognostic results ,a rip off. the name integrity does them no service. read more

Took my car in three weeks ago. Then the warning light came on that the oil level was low. Called, then took the car back in. Was told that during the oil change (three weeks prior) that they didn't have enough oil and figured we could just add more. We were never told this. Not to mention we don't know the type or brand of oil. In addition, at the oil change, I asked if they could adjust the auto switch for the power window. Was charged $57. for something that I could have taken five minutes to figure out. Asked about that charge and it was immediately reversed. I miss the the good old days when Kim was there. No shenanigans then. I don't know what's happened but I won't return nor recommend. Sad. read more

Left vehicle at the Locust Grove location on 2/09/24 for a state inspection. I was notified that it failed because the parking brake would not hold. Further, I was told they would charge $124 to diagnose the problem & apply that amount to the needed repair. I declined & said I would be picking up the vehicle. Upon arriving, I tested the parking brake & it held when vehicle was put in gear. A different tech (other than the inspector) tested it himself & found no problem; after which, he removed the rejection sticker & replaced it with a new inspection. NOTE: I was going to be charged $124 to diagnose a problem that didn't exist. read more

Called about diagnosis for "Service Engine Soon Light." I spoke to Kim. She was clear and professional. Minimum charge for diagnosis was $92.50, possibly more if they need to spend more time diagnosing the issue. That's their hourly labor charge. They were going to plug in a code reader.... In my opinion it's a very high hourly charge for this type of an independent operation. I called the local dealer, and found they charge $99 an hour. The dealer has much more overhead and investment in specialty equipment to get some jobs done properly. The also specialize in working with on your vehicle make. Dealer mechanics have required training and certification. Do you want a mechanic who's done the same repair 3 times this month... Or someone who is reading the manual? A dealer is also going to maintain a supply of many parts on-hand and be able to get the work done more quickly as a result. I hate most dealers, but in this case paying dealer rates, for mom and pop shop, in a rural market, is absurd. Auto industy background you should know... Automotive repair work is billed at book rates for a project. They look up the job and the there's a time that the rate book says it will take to do they job (in a professional, unrushed manner) It includes extra time for typical issues. If the book says 1.5 hours and the job takes 1 hour, you pay 1.5 hours. If it takes 2 hours you should still pay for 1.5 yours. Typically I've found "the book" overestimates the time it takes to do a job... If you know what you're doing. read more

Worst experience ever I will never go back to them ever again. They rotated my tires then I returned to have them looked at following day because my car now was shaking which it had not been before. They preceded to give me a hard time and tell me that now I needed them balanced and this and that or they can un-rotate the tires and I can go on my way which I had already payed them for an oil change and rotation. So how does that benefit me especially when I know everyone is struggling with loosing jobs or getting pay cut like I have.! Oh and some how my new cars battery dies and some how goes bad‍ what a coincidence... I think not. I will never use them again, hope you all decide to go somewhere else I would.! read more

Decided to try this place after another auto repair shop was a huge disappointment. Long story short, my car battery died while I was in Fredericksburg around noon. I called Integrity, spoke to a lady who was very kind, and we set up an appointment for 5. After I jumped my car and arrived at Integrity, they got to work fast and I was back on the road. Maybe a tad pricier than I was expecting but I'm okay with it due to the fact they got me in last minute, worked fast, and provided great customer service. read more

I've been to this place a few times and never had an issue. I have noticed they are a bit more expensive than other places in town (for certain things I needed). However, the friendly and honest atmosphere kept me coming back for basic needs. Most recently I scheduled an appointment for a front light that went out and an inspection. I got there exactly at 8am, my scheduled time. I noticed the waiting area was full and there was not many places to sit. I wasn't surprised by this since it was getting close to the end of the month after all and I understand people rush in for their inspections. The lady at the front desk desk, Diane, greeted me. I informed her that I had an appointment at 8am and her response was "We had 3 people walk in for inspections in front of you so we had to take them first." I wasn't really expecting that as an instant reply so I stated back to her again that I had an appointment. She then replied by telling me it was a state law that inspections are taken as a first come first serve basis and all those people walked in ahead of me. While that may be the case, I also had an appointment for something other than an inspection and found it extremely unprofessional to take multiple clients first knowing there was a scheduled appointment arriving soon. My personal view is that it's not good business to take people in front of those that had appointments. I understand you have to take the walk-ins as first come first serve as you're available but that doesn't change the commitment you set to your customers who had appointments and you should still have a mechanic dedicated to the appointments you already had set. Needless to say, the approach could have been handled better. Also, she could have notified me of this when I scheduled my appointment so I wasn't surprised upon arrival and could have planned for that. I ended up leaving and going right across the street. That gentleman set clear expectations regarding the wait time and even offered to give me a ride home or to work if needed. I gave 3 stars because in the past I have had no issues however, they had a different person working the desk then. read more

This place is pretty great. Family owned, the husband runs the shop, the wife runs the office with their little Yorkie. I took my car to five places for an inspection, they all told me a different diagnosis(story) because I'm a woman (well, I can tell when someone's bs'ing me) integrity didn't do that to me! Integrity is an excellent auto repair. I have been taking my car there for several years and have always gotten prompt, superior service. Once I thought I would need an expensive part. They took a look and said no, what I actually needed was a very inexpensive part. I really like that they keep a running record of the work they've done. They also coordinate with the maintenance schedule from the manufacturer which keeps my car in great shape. They are kind, courteous and very knowledgeable. They were very friendly people however overpriced. I had an issue with my rear differential in a 2011 nissan rogue. They replaced A PART of the rear differential (electromagnetic coupling) & a month later not only did it break, the whole rear differential had to be replaced. The shop I went to in Manassas charged $1130 for the ENTIRE rear differential replacement cost of part AND labor..at integrity it was $1650 for just a part of the rear differential. I doubt I would do business there again. The whole service was a waste...what to last me a month? read more

Their name is integrity, but they are completely devoid of it. Anytime you move to a new area you want to find a good honest mechanic, and these guys were recommended to me. And after a minor accident that involved only suspension damage I had our 2008 Honda CRV towed there and it was an enormous mistake. They grossly overcharged for parts (50%-75%) above published list price (mfg suggested retail) and then used all used parts without informing us. The real kicker was after the suspension work was done they said the airbag light was on, so the adjuster went out to take a look again. They were quoting over $2,600 for repair, and the insurance adjuster called me to say they were grossly overcharging for parts. When I called and started talking to the manager about it, she hung up on me! And when I went to pick it up, she wasn't there and the guy at the counter went into the back to call the owner out of earshot before he would release the car to us (even though I was paying). I just got back from the dealer (on the recommendation of the insurance adjuster) and parts and labor total less than $850 and many of the sensors they said need replaced couldn't even be read before the main sensor module was replaced. Nor only were they looking to overcharge by $1900 they lied about what their diagnostic computer said. Never, ever go there. read more
