This is the third time we've had repair work done on our vehicles by K&W. Due to a hit and run, this repair was covered by our insurance company. Once again, K&W did outstanding work on the damage. The repairs made the car look like new and the paint work was most impressive. The rapid tool longer than expected but USAA has an approval process for supplemental claims so, for the exceptional work, it was worth it. Great job, K&W crew! read more

I rarely leave negative reviews, but this experience wasted my time. I used K&W's online photo estimating system, submitted pictures of my truck, received an estimate, and scheduled a repair appointment. They sent me a confirmation email for a 9:00 AM Saturday drop-off, and then even sent me a reminder email the morning of the appointment. I arrived on time, but the employee arrived about 10 minutes late. She initially couldn't even find my appointment. After looking it up, she told me they were actually booked for the week and asked me to come back the following week. If your online scheduling system can send confirmation and reminder emails, someone needs to actually manage those appointments. Customers shouldn't have to take time out of their weekend only to be told the appointment they confirmed doesn't really exist. I can't comment on the quality of their body work because they never gave themselves the opportunity to earn my business. Unfortunately, after this experience, I took my truck elsewhere. read more

Starting from estimates to the final repair it was handled professionally keeping me fully in the loop always. It only took few days to complete the work. After removing the OEM fender flares on my Tundra I discovered they had worn down through the paint in some areas. Truck also spent most of its life in Arizona so there was some pretty bad fading on the bed. Brought it in for an estimate and was helped by Justin. They first tried to see if they could polish out the marks left by the flares, when that didn't work they gave me a estimate to paint the front fenders and bedsides and I left my truck with them the same day. Justin called multiple times a week to keep me updated on the process and when I came in to pick up the truck I barely recognized it. Paint quality is on par with OEM with a showroom finish, it's like a brand new truck! Final bill was higher than the original estimate but they honored their estimate and did not charge more than I was quoted. I've got a few projects I'm working on and I will definitely be taking them to K&W for paint! read more

So someone hit my bumper while being parked so I was referred to K&W by a friend in Woodbridge. I went in to get an estimate so I could file a claim to my insurance. I was happy with the evaluation of the damages and was told it would take about 4 days to fix. I agreed that I'd be leaving my car there to get serviced. I get a call 2 days later and I was told that my car needed additional work due to more damage found and it would take an additional 3 days. I was thinking, "ok, no problem, a week is okay".. After the weekend passed, I get a call and I hear " I have some bad news, the wrong part was delivered and that they would need another day for them to finish.. I call the next day.... they say... the part was not delivered ( bumper ) and that they would need an additional day... at this point I was very irritated. All in all, the work that was supposed to take 4 days ended up taking 10 days. Good customer service and all. Communication wasnt the best.. there were times they would say they would call me back for a status update; and I'd get nothing. The work on the car was GREAT. So, rumor has it that you're not supposed to slam your brand new 2014 Acura into the back of another car on 395 snarling traffic for an hour and a half.... but I wanted to test the theory. After destroying the front end of my once beautiful ILX, I took the vehicle, now sporting an automotive-like "Joker" smile, to the Nationwide insurance adjuster... God, I hope they're still on my side, I thought. I asked him - with all the god fearing honesty I could muster - "Bro, where should I take this whip to make sure my shizz gets redid, ya feel me homie?" He pointed at the giant K&W sign behind him. He explained that he wouldn't let 90% of the Northern VA auto body shops work on his kitchen blender let alone his car. (I dunno... maybe kitchen blenders are prized family heirlooms?). Still skeptical, I threw him the keys and awaited my chariot's arrival (Enterprise Rent-A-Car picked me up in a Dodge Fart... er, I mean, Dart.) 2 weeks later and Justin (the guy whose voice sounds like it belongs hosting a radio show and not at the service counter of a vehicle repair facility) calls and lets me know my whip is ready. Holy shmokes! I swear, as they pulled the (detailed, washed and waxed) vehicle from the garage, I could hear faint sounds of angelic voices in the background. I'm not sure if they had the last "Touch by an Angel" soundtrack playing over the loud speakers, but it worked. The car is great. I had a few issues with some of the alignment (hey, I'm picky yo), but they had NO issue fixing everything I nitpicked. While I hope I never have to use K&W again (unless you all just LOVE sitting in the traffic jams I cause... In which case...), I'd highly recommend them to anyone who thought giving their car a face lift using another car was a good idea. I think they said there's a lifetime warranty on the work (and judging by the way science is headed, I plan to live to 200), so that's awesome. Fantastic experience from the beginning! I first made an online inquiry and was immediately contacted about having my door actuator replaced in my BMW. I took it in, and everyone was accommodating and even though my hopes of them being able to help, they were optimistic. Needless to say, after more than six months of not having my door open, they were able to get the job done. They even went as far as was my car and vacuumed it out, which it needed without me expecting that. When I say they make your car look brand new, they literally make it look brand new. Here's how it all began.... my new 2017 Blizzard Pearl Rav-4 got hit from the back at 2 weeks old (no pun intended). The car that hit mine got totaled while my car got the following: lost part of its rear bumper, a medium dent, and handful of medium to large scratches. First thought - Crap. Second thought - I have no idea what I'm supposed to do. Third thought - Crap. After talking with my insurance company they gave me very little information as to what I should expect other than "start looking for a place to get it fixed at". I reviewed several places and felt like K&W was 1) Trustworthy 2) Qualified 3) Reliable... I gave them a call and spoke with Celvin (? sorry, not sure about the spelling) who laid out the entire process of getting my car fixed with K&W. He assured me K&W would inspect my car and compare the quote the insurance adjuster created versus what K&W found and if there was any additional damage, K&W would notify me and the insurance agency and take care of all that "fun" stuff. Fast forward to when I dropped my car off and it was in the process of getting fixed... The communication K&W has with the customer while the car is in the shop is phenomenal. Celvin let me know when they found additional damage on the car, when the adjuster was going to check out their findings, when the adjuster appraised the additional damage, when they ordered parts, the ETA of when the parts will arrive and of course the final phone call of my car being ready to be picked up. Back to the very first thing I said in this review... When I say they make your car look brand new, they literally make it look brand new. My insurance company recommended another auto body collision shop to service my 2018 Lexus NX 300, however, after reviewing the Yelp reviews for the recommended establishment, I decided it would be best if I sought out another shop via Yelp reviews. After a bit of research, I was immediately impressed by the reviews provided for K&W Auto Body and immediately sought out their services. A phenomenal team! Jim, Justin, and their team are consummate professionals. Upon contacting K &W I was greeted with courtesy and professionalism. As I explained my situation, as I had encountered a bit of damage on the front driver's side of my vehicle in a downtown D.C. parking garage, they patiently listened and reviewed the estimate as provided by my insurance carrier and immediately set up an appointment at a time of my convenience for repairs. They inquired as to whether or not I would require a rental vehicle and I was very pleased to hear that since they have a relationship with Enterprise Rental, a vehicle would be at my immediate disposal at K & W's site upon drop off of my car for repairs. K & W was excellent in keeping me apprised on the status of my repairs, thoroughly explaining the extent of the damage, the time projected for repair and the cost (which I found to be quite reasonable) associated with those repairs. I found that K & W does in fact have an excellent working relationship with Enterprise Rental as evidenced by the seamless coordination facilitated by K&W with my insurance company, and Enterprise to ensure that I had a rental vehicle at my disposal during the projected repair time of my car. Enterprise provided me a comparable vehicle directly on K & W's site, and once my car's repairs were completed, I dropped off the rental to K & W for return to Enterprise. I am an extremely satisfied customer in that K & W restored my vehicle to pristine condition without a blemish to be found! I LOVE K&W!! I had over $5k in repairs done to my baby that I love (my 2016 chevy Malibu fully tricked out with every bell and whistle). Had my boo, that's her name, since August 2016, only 27,000 miles on her so far. All was well until me and a metro parking garage had an unlovely encounter one evening when I went to pull my car out of a very tight spot and ended up scraping my entire left side of my car on the cement pillars. I was referred to this shop by the insurance company that was fixing my truck that was hit from the back by their driver/insured. My experience with this shop was great - perhaps because it was the insurance company paying for the work, but either way, the work they did was AWESOME and the person I was dealing with, Stergio, kept me informed of the process so I knew what was going on with my truck. After I picked up my truck, he called to tell me he wasnt happy with the 4X4 sticker they had to replace after they repainted so he ordered another one and could put it on whenever I was available to stop by. When I did, they reapplied it and it looks great. The work done was replacing the back bumper, fixing the frame and fixing a dent on the back right side along with repainting that area. The best! All of the employees here are friendly yet extremely professional, especially Andy and Elmer. They make every process very smooth. The quality of work they do can't be compared to any other auto body shop in the area. I have gone to K&W Auto Body on three different occasions and every time my damaged cars were fixed within a couple of days. Recently I had my Mercedes rear bumper and tail light replaced by K&W, and they (always) matched the paint perfectly. It's VERY difficult to find quality auto body shops and most people that work at them either try to scam you for more money or make the entire process miserable. Well, not this shop. I AM SPEECHLESS!!!!!!! Oh my god I've never and I mean never come across a body shop that cares this much about it's clients, I was referred to this shop by my boyfriends mechanic shop, and I am so glad I was. I was beyond distraught by damage done to my vehicle from a lockout service company I was upset and frustrated as my car is my baby, they not only repaired the damage from that incident but they also went the extra mile and buffed out some surface scratches on the rest of my car and redid the paint stripes on the sides of my car. AND my car looks and smells brand NEW on the inside !!!! What! I've never had any body shop detail the interior for me and even shine my wheels. When I mean detail I mean DETAIL! vacuumed and shined the dash and cleaned the cup holders and doors.
