I love big corporations run by young people! Before I picked up my car I received a call from Jessie (I believe) to let me know the type of car I wanted was not in stock BUT they could have one driven over from their sister office one exit away. I appreciated the call! When I walked in to pick up my car I was greeted by two smiling faces and a flood of positive energy. The office opened at 9:00 and I was there at 9:15, approximately. Greeting was warm and welcoming. Told them who I was and they assured me as soon as their other coworker arrived they would bring over the other car. While waiting I noticed that with each customer they greeted them the same; friendly, positive, upbeat! I felt as though I was in good hands. My car arrived. They helped me decide if I needed to perhaps upgrade for more truck space or if what I had was sufficient. They went out of their way to show me other cars while doing so in the cold weather. I made my decision and was pleased that I would be getting a lower rate. When I booked the vehicle it was one price but when I picked it up the price had dropped. They honored the difference and left me with more money in my pocket! The day I returned the vehicle that office was closed due to severe ice/snow storm warnings. I was not able to tell them in person how much I appreciated their professionalism and positive personalities. If ever in Union City, GA (not CA) please pop in to say hello and encourage them. Young people today do not seem to know what customer service is. Jessie and Q definitely do! Enterprise could learn a lot from this dynamic duo. Overall Enterprise Customer Service is horrible. I thought Enterprise had a corporate number I give them zero Stars the area manager I sent an email to him a week ago he never responded the store manager is hiding and not returning my calls they left for women stranded in the middle of Georgia when our Enterprise vehicle broke down they never sent another vehicle for us customer service told us over the phone to take a lift and they would reimburse us they never reimbursed us so at midnight we had to contact a cab company ourselves and pay $320 to get home which I have not seen any of that back the area manager does not return emails respond there's no corporate number no corporate that's over this company I am so shocked I will never ever ever rent from Enterprise again and I suggest anybody renting from Enterprise realize if something goes wrong you're going to be left on your own there's no corporate to help you out read more

The staff here is so friendly, like really. But that is their saving grace because the check-in time, even if you pre-checked in was ridiculous. My pick-up time was 10am on a Saturday and I got there at 9:30ish...didn't get called until almost 11am and was almost late to an appointment. They provided a shuttle from the repair shop to the rental lot and had already prepared my paperwork and selection of rentals. Staff was great! After reading through some of the reviews I can honestly say that yes, it can be extremely slow inside but everyone is nice and helpful only because ppl were coming in and out. I made a reservation 20-30 min prior and had to wait an hour or so before getting in a vehicle but they made sure to take care of everyone for a Thursday which they were busy (odd). The manager was nice and kept her composure during it all because ppl were frustrated and upset but she did the best she could and the employees as well. The got me in a car as quickly as they could but it was not up to par but she offered another but it would be a wait and I didn't want to wait, it also had a smell but I only needed to haul off items. I did not have a good experience here. I acknowledge that so many companies are still dealing with the consequences of COVID, however, I was treated with so much suspicion for renting a car through an insurance claim for circumstances that are so common for Atlanta transplants/residents. It became clear fairly quickly they were likely just inexperienced...and....young. They even second-guessed I was who I said I was which was pretty insulting so I showed my ID just to increase my chances of getting a car that I obviously needed. I spent hours talking to Enterprise customer service and other branches beforehand to be sure I could get my reservation fulfilled, specifically at Union City, and I still ran into hurdles when I got there. I even had to say "you know you could be a little nicer" just to curb the tone. I couldn't get names for some reason, but I know one of the people helping us was the manager. I'm so glad my friend was there with me to witness their scrutiny. That's not the worst of it. Finally, I get a car to drive only to find out it was leaking gas! Someone realized they could smell gas when the car idled, and I quickly put it together after monitoring the gas hand that the gas I was paying for was going to waste. I would drive merely 2 hours and the mini SUV's fuel would be nearly empty. So, of course for my own safety, I had to scurry to fix their mess Thanksgiving weekend and ended up having to call them to escalate things to ensure I didn't have to drive much farther in the car. I plan to leave another positive review for the Enterprise who saved me and treated me as a valued customer in need. Even they said, "How did they put in that car?" Enterprise, please consider re-training staff at your Union City branch in customer service and consider changing the policy of when to release cars to renters. read more

This would have been my second time renting a car from this location, but after this experience and the lackluster service from the first time I rented, I'll just find someplace else to go. I generally rent cars through Hotwire, Priceline etc. The price for off-airport rentals are generally cheaper and although the airport is about ten mins from my house, I don't want to pay the extra $30-40 in airport fees and taxes. I paid $23 to uber to this location. I reserved the car online, however, when I got to the location, I was told I needed to check in. The "manager" that checked me in explained there were no cars available and I'd have to wait up to an hour for them to let me know if they were going to be able to find me a car. I explained that I had an appointment in about an hour, so I couldn't wait an hour to find out if they were going to rent me a car. When I asked her why the site allowed me to rent the car and they don't have cars available, she stated that I had rented through a third party site and those sites don't have their actual inventory. About 5 mins after taking a seat in the waiting area, a guy came up and asked for my driver license. I assumed this meant they had found a car. It didn't. He scanned my license, walked away and then came back about ten minutes later to tell me they didn't have any economy vehicles but could upgrade me to a midsize SUV (Toyota Rav4) at an additional $24 per day. I had already reserved the economy for $21 per day, so to add another $24 per day was not something I was willing to do, and explained to him as a customer service effort they should upgrade the car at no additional cost to me, since it wasn't my fault they didn't have economy cars. He disappeared towards the back and finally came back and stated they would have to try and find me a car at another location or dealership because the manager wasn't willing to give me the Rav4 at the same price I had reserved the economy vehicle online. I continued to watch others walk in and also get told there were no vehicles. After approximately 45 mins, the manager, nor the guy who had scanned my license had mentioned anything about locating a vehicle, actually, they had begun to avoid looking in my direction whatsoever, so I went back to the counter and asked if they were able to find me a vehicle and the manager told me that, she didn't have a way to find me another vehicle and they were relying on people to return vehicles before they would have one for me to rent. I started to snap off on her, but during my wait I read their Yelp reviews and knew the level of non-customer service I was receiving is the norm for this location, so I took a $17 uber to the airport and picked up a vehicle in less than ten minutes. Don't waste your time with these folks, they will let you sit in the waiting area for over an hour and not even admit they are unable to rent you a vehicle. read more

Mind you I've made reservations on Tuesday, I get a phone call Friday evening close to closing hours stating that I'm out of the 50mile radius, (I've booked with them last year with the same address so idk how that's possible) I asked to be transferred to a closer area. I was told I was transferred to the College Park location. I arrive the next morning at the air due the only college park location I know of. No ma'am, no reservations here, your reservations are at UNION CITY, hoooooooow? So I was told that can be transferred to the other College Park location. It's now 9:30 and Im crunching for time. I get there PAY & PACK THE CAR. In the mist of proceeding to drive off. I was told not to leave the lot there was something that went wrong and that UNION CITY canceled my reservations due to a mix up with last names. I went to the Union City location to speak with a manager and I was told one of the representatives mistakenly pulled my reservation for someone else and it canceled out my reservation because the first names didn't match. Now I'm without money, a car & my trip was canceled! This is by far THEEEEE WORST thing ever & I had to explain this situation to two kids under 10 who prepared all week for this trip. I would give zero stars if I could. I rented a car for the weekend. I arrived here on Thursday, 1/28 around 3pm. I waited almost a hour for the car despite having a reservation for 3pm pickup. Most of the staff was pretty rude and didn't care about the customer's wait or concerns. To make matters worse, when I returned the car around 1pm on Sunday, 1/31, the location was CLOSED (although they open at noon on Sunday). Others were waiting and we had to park the car and return key in drop box. People were waiting to pick up cars and return and no one in sight. I'm speechless! This place barely gets a 3rd star, I came in here trying to rent a car that my insurance provided for me but they failed to tell me that I would need a credit card to get it. So I brought a family members to help out and they wouldn't process it or allow it cause it wasn't under my name. There was a lot of back and forth and luckily it was a mis-communication issue so I came back in realizing that I wasn't getting charged for the whole rental just for the deposit. I don't think I made much of a scene, I was annoyed about the situation but apparently the boy who was helping me previously felt butt hurt about my attitude and ignored me when I walked back in, so I was helped by another young lady who was kind and patient enough to explain the policy to me properly and helped me better understand what I was actually being charged for. Enterprise Rent-A-Car (Union City, GA) is not Military Friendly BLUF: I am an active duty service member and my drivers license recently expired. (Out of State, not -GA). Per enterprise policy I am allowed to rent but the local and area managers refused to o acknowledge the policy. Claiming that Enterprise is a private organization and therefore cannot afford to be held liable by issuing a vehicle to a Service member with an expired license. The Cost: it delayed a visit with my daughter by 4 hours and consequently shortchanged my visit with my father who just got out of the hospital. When people in charge make arbitrary decisions to ignore policies...it impacts lives positively or negatively. In my case it was negative. Details of my story below: I checked with Enterprise's online policies to see if they would honor my license with my military ID Card. According to the website they did. Which make sense because I had previously rented vehicles earlier in the month (out of DC, NYC and Colorado Springs etc) So I confidently planned my trip believing I would have no issues. I was wrong. I got to the Union City, GA branch and was greeted kindly. However, the first attendant had no clue about licenses for Military personnel. He politely asked me to wait and he went to his branch manager who also did not know about the policy. She called her area manager and unfortunately he did not know of the policy. During each time I offered to show them on the website but they refused. I then called Customer Service and confirmed the policy. I asked the local manager to talk with customer service but she refused. I tried to appeal to her humanity and the area manager's humanity about me trying to see my daughter and they didn't show a lot of concern. Ultimately I am disappointed that the area manager made a life impacting decision without even talking to me and the local manager was very quick to pass the buck higher without making a common sense decision on the ground. read more

Union City Enterprise is the worst car rental place in the world. Renting from them was the worst experience I have ever had in my life. The Customer Service is deplorable. They lie and are scam artists. They tried to charge me with damages to the car that the damages was there when the car was given to me. The company kept me on hold never came back. Hung up on me. Management never returned my calls. I believe this had happened to other customers also. I WILL NEVER GIVE THIS LOCATION MY BUSINESS AGAIN The situation in more detail. Enterprise claims I damaged the bottom bumper of this car. The car was issued to me DAMAGED. The Union City Enterprise did not to a proper walk thru. The day I returned the car I told them I was returning, they asked for the keys and said "OK have a great day"... no one checked out the car, no one gave me a balance or anything. I asked if my receipt would be emailed to me or my insurance company they said they would give me a call. They NEVER called. That Sunday I called them and they informed me that the car I rented had DAMAGES and they was going to charge me and my insurance company $500.00. Union City Enterprise didn't properly check me IN or OUT. Union City Enterprise suggested I come view the tape from when I was given the damaged car, When I drive up there, Union City Enterprise conveniently erased the tape of when the car was issued to me which would have showed it was damage prior to them issuing me the rental car. Also the rental car was sent to repair before my Insurance adjuster could assess the damage. Why would Union City Enterprise do that? This is FRAUD or some type of SCAM Union City Enterprise is running. I returned the car Sunday August 4, 2019 and I called them on August 5,2019 to find out why my 50.00 was not refunded. I have called managers and the Corporate office since August 5th, NO ONE has ever called me back. I have not been notified about anything no phone call , no mail or email. I want my 500.00 refunded back to me. I did not damage the rental car This is AWFUL. I WILL NEVER GIVE THIS LOCATION MY BUSINESS AGAIN. I rented a vehicle from here during recall work. It was very pleasant. I came in and didn't have to wait too long. They already had my reservation in the system and they had a car ready for me. I later returned the car in the following day and it was as simple as I expected. Good people good place. Make sure you call them in advance twice. I called in advance and confirmed my open reservation. I get there and they don't have anything available until 4 or 5 I was there at 1030 am. The women manger was very unhelpful and didn't care to help me find another option. On top of that they didn't care to help me get back to my home which was right down the road.
