Upon returning, I dropped off my car on a Saturday afternoon about an hour after they had closed. The trip had been uneventful, so I thought everything was good. But while at Church on Sunday morning, I received a message saying there was damage done to the car and I would have to pay for repairs. I was shocked and went straight there (about a 5 - 10 minute drive). When I arrived, they said the car had already been lent out, so I could not see the car. They did show me a close-up picture of a scratch on a piece of metal. It was impossible to see what kind of car it was from or where the scratch was on the car. They said it appeared to be the result of a tree branch and could fit a fingernail in part of the scratch. When I asked to see the car, I was told that would not happen. I just had to believe them. The frustrating part was I had no way to solve the issue. Instead, I was charged almost 1500$. Part of the fee was the loss of value of the car as a result of the damage I supposedly did. I had rented from Enterprise before, but now I will attempt to find another rental company. If you rent from Enterprise in Winchester, please be warned to take your own photographs and videos before you leave with the car.
