When I protested he hung up on me! I called back. He said to call their 800 number. Called the 800 number and they told me to call the local rental place. Called the local place back and the same incredibly unhelpful person said they had no one who could help us--even though we were only 1 mile away from their office! Finally, a few hours later they sent someone over to try to start the truck. Now we'll have to try to actually keep them from charging us for a truck that never did start! WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER.

There was a customer in front of me who I heard decline insurance and was allowed to rent a truck. Well when it was my turn I was told insurance was mandatory in order to rent the vehicle. I explained my online reservation didn't require it and also asked why was the customer before able to decline coverage. The clerk told me I had to purchase it.
