Web prices are not a secret and most dealerships are willing to quote so there is a common ground to start from then factor in the labor. All in all I was satisfied with this visit. Adding an interaction I had with the first service tech I talked to on a Saturday afternoon who was unwilling to look into my issue when I asked if they repair or replace exhaust pipes despite me specifically telling him that I need a Y pipe with a resonator, and possibly mufflers if it makes the repair easier. He just insisted that I need to drop it off for inspection to tell me if they want to do the job which sounds like an inconvenience since most car repair shops like to work banker hours. Lucky for me Dobbs opens early and closes at six p. Taking that with a grain of salt I gave them a chance the following weekday resulting in a customer.

Recently used Claudes for some emissions work and experienced the amount of business this small shop experiences. The one thing I HAVE ALWAYS DEMANDED FROM A MECHANIC IS JUST BE HONEST...CLAUDES FULFILLS THAT REQUEST. Claudes has always honest with me and even though co workers have changed...that fundamental honesty goes on. On my recent visit...the shop was very busy...walk in business comes in daily and the staff still finds time to be courteous and friendly still getting scheduled work done as well. I worked with DAKOTA and he was awesome...performed the work requested and explained in detail what he was doing if asked. The repair was quick when the shop got around to it. Be prepared to wait. They are so busy that they may have to schedule you in a week or more for needed repairs... But still take time with customers with an emergency situation. I have had dealer shops that treat you terrible, make you wait, charge outrageous hourly ($250 hr) and problems still comeback...and it is never their fault even though they advertise best equipment, best mechanics, best parts, fastest service. ​ CLAUDES WILL DO AS GOOD WORK, CHARGE LESS, BE RESPONSIVE TO YOUR REQUESTS, AND MOST OF ALL...BE HONEST WITH YOU. STAY AWAY FROM THIS JIFFY LUBE -- THEY DESTROYED MY ENGINE AND TOOK NO RESPONSIBILITY…read more I took my 2017 Ford Escape--my reliable, well-maintained vehicle with ZERO prior issues--to Jiffy Lube on December 19, 2024, for a simple oil change. That was the beginning of a nightmare. Three days later, on December 22, after driving only 37 miles, my car suddenly lost power on the highway and began spewing blue-gray smoke. I was forced to pull over and have it towed to Dobbs Tire and Auto Center. What Dobbs found was shocking: the engine was coated in black, dirty oil, and they drained over 6 quarts--despite my vehicle only holding 4.3 quarts total. The dipstick showed oil filled over an inch above the full line. The mechanic explained that the excessive oil fouled the spark plugs, destroyed the catalytic converters, and permanently ruined the engine. Even after replacing plugs and trying to clean it up, the car died again on a test drive. Diagnosis: engine completely destroyed. I immediately brought this to Jiffy Lube's attention. Their response? Blame everyone but themselves. They claimed they only put in the right amount of oil and pointed fingers at Dobbs--without ever speaking to the mechanic or inspecting the damage. Just outright denial, despite the clear timeline and mechanical evidence. Let's be real: my car worked perfectly before Jiffy Lube touched it. It died 37 miles later, drowned in oil. And now I'm left with a dead engine and thousands in losses. If you value your vehicle, your time, and your money--DO NOT TRUST THIS PLACE. Jiffy Lube's negligence cost me a car, and their refusal to take any responsibility is shameful.
