    Pandebono y chocolate.

First thing's first. If you aren't Colombian or familiar with Colombian cuisine, don't bother leaving a review or bashing the establishment. This place is really good. I have been coming here for many years and the quality of food has never gone down. This is a perfect place to have breakfast, grab un antojito or a soup in the late afternoon. The coffee is amazing. ALWAYS on point. Grab a pandebono or a buñuelo or any of their other amazing bakery items and you will not be disappointed. I had their huevos en caserola, migas y aguacate. BOMB ass breakfast. My parents had the ajiaco which were delicious and came with rice and maduros. Hands down, a decent place for Colombian food. No complaints here besides the fact that service always blows but if you're familiar with Latin restaurants, you'd know this is common as everyone is too lax.

They should post the prices so people of all races and creeds are assured that they are given the same price for what is sold.

I didn't eat but did have a couple cocktails. The Moscow Mule was good and I liked the upside down little bottle. I did think it was on the pricey side. Parking was easy and there were a lot of TV's so I think this place would be super fun to watch games. A solid experience.

You cannot hear anyone because it is way too loud... even if they are right next to you, the staff had trouble hearing us and we could barely hear them. My food wasn't good. I ordered my steak medium rare and it came out medium well. Mind you I said it three times and he said it back to me. I made sure because of how loud it is. It was dry, tough, and lacked flavor. I also explained that I cannot eat onions before ordering and the waiter confirmed the salad with my meal has onions but offered to substitute my salad with rice since I cannot eat onions. That was very nice of him, but he gave me yellow rice that had onions in it so I couldn't eat that. The maduros, which I grew up on and eat all the time, looked and tasted old. I couldn't even eat them and others at my table agreed with the steak and maduros. We had a big table and overall no one was happy with this place. The pandebono wasn't great either, the bottom was a bit burned and it was lacking flavor like a lot of the food we ordered. I had to add salt. I wasn't drinking that night so ordered a Shirley Temple with extra cherries, something I order when I don't feel like drinking, and it was awful. First off, not 1 cherry lol but it was mostly Grenadine syrup! So hard to drink. I had my gf, her sister, and her aunt try it. No one liked it. One of my friends ordered a dirty martini and it tasted really strange more like pickle juice and liquor. She tried to drink it, but she couldn't and I don't blame her. A few of us tasted it... not good. She asked the waiter if she could trade it for a margarita because someone else got one and said it was okay. The waiter comes back with another dirty martini that was even worse! The piña colada was pretty good, weak, but not bad. Maybe stick with that. A few people at the table got it so I got to taste it. I will not be coming back here ever. Colombia Kaliente in Englewood is where it's at- 10,000 times better.

Now, while I am proud to proclaim my Colombian heritage, I must confess that I have no frame of reference for actual Colombian establishments given that the last time I was in the land of my ancestors, I was in diapers. However, I can say this: THE FOOD HERE IS INCREDIBLE! I ordered "huevos perico," which are basically scrambled eggs with diced tomatoes and either diced scallions or onions. To be honest I cannot recall which ingredients were used as I was in Heaven the minute the plate was set before me with an "arepa con queso." (If you don't know what that is, please Google it. I've never had to explain it to anyone before.) Anyway, that meal, along with the cafe con leche were beyond amazing! Moreover, you get a very homely feel with the atmosphere. Señora Olga, the patron and cook, was very cordial and professional but also made me feel as if I was back in my abuela's kitchen (God rest her soul) when she cooked and prepared the meal just a few feet away. She even grabbed the pan off the wall! One that I thought was just there for decoration. Such a small gesture but it took me aback, dropped jaw and all. In short, nothing is processed in this place. It is all quite authentic and made fresh and to order. I cannot wait to visit this place again.
