The Roto-Rooter dispatcher was professional and prompt, and after confirming the details of my issue, was able to schedule a plumber to visit my home the very next day. First thing in the morning Caleb the plumber was at my door and ready to get to work. We were so pleased with Caleb's work on our issue that we also opened a new ticket to have him do some other plumbing repairs in our house. Now we are not only on the way to resolving our original issue, but also got some less important plumbing work done and out of the way. Caleb even worked with the manufacturer of our water conditioner to diagnose the underlying issue. Caleb went above and beyond, and is one of the most competent and professional plumbers I've ever worked with. I've been a home owner for a long time, and I only very rarely deal with anyone this dependable.

Having no idea what to do we contacted our insurance and as it turns out, we were miraculously covered for mold and our adjuster had 1-800-Flooded call us immediately! I thought something like this would take weeks to even get someone out but thankfully there are people who feel that mold mean emergency and 1-800-Flooded came out that same day! Courtney is the one who initially called me and clearly she could tell how distraught I was. She was absolutely amazing and totally helped keep me calm. Courtney and Taylor came out and did their thing took some tests, did a little clean up and told me they'd be back daily until their clean up process was done. The next morning I received a call from Steve who let us know that our asbestos test came back positive so we'd need an abatement company to come in and remove most of the walls so he put me in touch with a plumber for any possible broken pipes and my adjuster sent out the abatement company for an estimate. From the time I filed the insurance claim to the time the entire mold and asbestos issue was taken care of was 6 day total and I could not believe it! The guy from the abatement company told me that a permit to remove the asbestos could take up to 2 weeks but he let me know that when Steve is involved, things get done and they get done fast! He was not kidding! Courtney and Steve came back out as soon as they received the okay from the asbestos, they took their air purifier machine and went on their way! THEN.... 3 days later while installing floors, we found more mold... man, we really have issues in this old home! I called the adjuster who didn't answer so the I went directly to 1-800-Flooded and asked them to come out immediately and we will pay them one way or another if this isn't part of the current open claim. Steve and Courtney wasted no time and Courtney was out about an hour later. Again, she waved a magic wand (actually some sort of moisture meter which has a technical name that I am not sure of) and determined that the extremely ugly looking black mold we could see was in fact not wet/actively growing and was likely from and old leaking dishwasher. She sprayed the area with some special mold spray just to be on the safe side and she even packed up all the moldy floor tiles that the flooring company was too afraid to touch. She was in our house maybe 30 minutes and lugged several bags out the door. She gave us the number of a deep cleaner that could help us when all is said and done AND THEN, she refused payment! Said there was no mold issue and that she simply helped us clean up and that she knows the last thing we need is another bill, LOVE that!!! I have since said 1-800-Flooded to just about everyone I've talked to lately and I cannot thank them enough for their extremely fast and efficient service and wonderfully kind crew!!

Apparently, they have a higher turnover rate of employees because we talked to several different people. The manager said he would honor our contract and repair the damage. There was a demo team that came out to take out the damaged tile. However, they then decided that they would not honor the contract and complete the project. So, we once again have no shower! By the way they dropped the tile, and it went through our bathroom floor and damaged the kitchen ceiling. This company lacks integrity and have left us without a usable bathroom. The owner of the company has no respect for her customers and was less than helpful. Please do not use this company for any reason.
