Not only were they on time for our appointment, but they were professional, and sociable, making it all the more, a great experience having them in our home. Their work was clean, and efficient through and through. After they left, you wouldn't have known they were even there - with exception to the cleaning lines in our sofa and slightly damp material that naturally, comes with the service. He saturated our carpets with water and product which ruined our carpets and left an unresolvable smell. The carpets are a complete loss because of him and we are now spending over $6000 to completely replace the carpets. We could not be more disappointed in his performance, knowledge and composure. He actually left his fans here and we couldn't even reach him to pick them up until we threatened to charge him storage. When he finally returned our call he was completely belligerent, insulting and rude. Please steer clear of Glen from Prime Time Chem Dry. You will regret it if you allow him to "clean" your carpets. I ordered a sofa (with a tubular metal frame) that ended up being just 4"-6" too big for my…read morebuilding's elevator! Very frustrating. Everyone recommended the Sofa Doctor/Dr. Sofa, so I called them on a Friday and they had a team at my building on Monday morning. Giovanni and his partner were very efficient and gentle. They started by placing the sofa outside on a soft mat and then went to work (see photos). They removed the upholstery, peeled back the foam, and cut the metal. Then they brought everything upstairs, mechanically fastened the metal tubes back together, rolled the foam up and re-glued it, and zipped the upholstery back up. No stains or scratches on the upholstery, amazing. The whole episode took less than 3 hours and the sofa looks perfect. Highly recommend these guys!

Once I called, I was put off by one of their very arrogant customer service reps and had already decided that I wouldn't be using them just based on this. The person who had initially emailed me in response to my query was very polite. And then I got their estimate which was more than 3 times (!) what I was quoted from a local reputable upholsterer. This was not a vintage or antique chair and this was for ***just the labor.*** I was going to provide the upholstery fabric. I informed them that I would not be using them, given their exorbitant price. I then got a follow up email asking me whether I couldn't go ahead with using them because I was struggling to make a decision about the fabric, advising me to use AI to envision my design (thank you, but I'm a designer and I don't need AI to strip me of my creativity!) I'm fine with my decision making. I'm just not willing to pay their exorbitant prices for a basic upholstery job.

I sent an expensive custom-made rug to Revita to be cleaned and they ruined it…read more They picked up the rug, which was in excellent condition, and were supposed to return it in 1 week. Without letting me know in advance it was not returned the next week. When I called to check on it, I was told that it was still wet, and it would be returned to me in another weeks' time. They also said that the rug was in good condition. It was returned the next week, but it was no longer in good condition. Having been wet so long the carpet had delaminated (a condition where the secondary backing of the carpet separates from the primary backing) causing the rug to ripple in numerous places. They picked it up to repair it and promised to have it back in another week's time. They let me know they needed to delay it's return by a week. When it was time to return it, they again needed to delay it another week. I asked if they could apply their Revita Wash, a stain blocker, to the rug at no charge to make up for all the delays. They agreed and confirmed that applying it would not delay the rugs return or cause it additional damage. Hamid, the owner, told me I should be appreciative of all the work that was being done at no charge to repair the rug. It was insulting to me that I should be thankful for them working to repair damages they had caused. When the rug was returned It was severely damaged. At first, they blamed the Revita Wash which they promised would not hurt the rug, but it was more than that. It still had areas that would not lay flat from delamination, the colors had run/bleed, areas of the carpet were saturated with glue, in those areas if you touched the front of the carpet wet glue came off on your fingers, yellowing to roughly 50% of the carpet, and the carpet was sticky. After sending the rug back in this condition they wanted to work on it again. I asked if they had they not already done their best efforts but got no response. I have no confidence that they could repair all the damage since they were not able to repair it in the 5 weeks they'd had it already. Shirzad, the owner's son, says that they clean a lot of rugs and sometimes they get ruined. I want to replace the rug with the same one. He offered to pay roughly 25% of the replacement cost. He refused to provide their insurance companies information and said if I want more than what he offered sue him.

Hamid from Revita impressed with his knowledge and sophistication, having trained and worked in antique carpet restoration in Europe. All our interactions with the company from start to finish of the job have been prompt, professional and beyond reproach. A very large carpet had to be repaired on site and Christina came with her tools to do this. Special natural pads were used under the carpet so as not to damage them. A special anti microbial, anti dust mite treatment was added. Colors are now more vivid. I understand only natural methods were used, including Australian lanolin. We thank Hamid for his expertise in helping preserve these objects.
