Dad commented that he'd never had this many tests run on his eyes previously (and, he'd already had one cataract surgery). This extreme concern and care continued through the multiple follow-up visits to insure that their eyes adjusted well to the new lens. Both see extremely well now...in fact, they usually only wear reading glasses when needed. Mom & Dad are both ecstatic with the treatment and service received from Pepose Vision Institute.

I recently had cataracts removed and they went out of their way to reassure me that the procedures would be quick (10 Minutes) and I wouldn't feel a thing (I didn't). Rarely do I write reviews but this team deserves it. I had a sudden flare up of uveitis two years…read moreago that was severe and if you don't know, if not treated quickly, it can cause permanent vision damage. It's also very painful. I didnt have an eye doc and called them and they got me in same day. I had to go back multiple times a week for a few weeks to get the flare up under control and they made time in the schedule and were great at following up, checking in and changing treatment when needed. There were multiple times I called for treatment that they replied "can you come in right now?" Because they took it so Seriously. My eye doctor even went ahead and said "this isnt a common eye condition. Since you've had it twice, you should get more testing, as It could indicate something else going on in your body." and ordered me extensive bloodwork and labs to make sure I was ok. I couldn't have asked for a better eye doctor/team.

Now I understand why one of my eyes cant be corrected to the same degree as its mate, an improvement over last year. I never know which doctor or provider I will see. They seem to work interchangeably. That may be the reason that I don't feel I'm known or seen as a person, even though they seem to know quite a lot about my "rare disease", which is a big bonus for my health. One caution if you go there: watch out for the rolling chairs in the exam room with all the medical equipment to examine, measure and photograph various parts of your eyes .
