She calmed my nerves the week up until my wedding when I was worried about everything falling into place! Beth took the reins from me at rehearsal and made sure everyone knew what to do and where to be. On wedding day, she handled everything! I had hair and makeup and did not have one worry! Beth handled set up, Beth checked in on myself and my husband to see if we needed a snack or water and how we were feeling. During photos (that seem to take forever) she checked on us and supplied snacks and drinks to get us through! She made sure everything ran smooth, she even had to ask some wedding crashers to leave, which she handled flawlessly! She helped with packing up and made sure everything went into the car and nothing was left behind. I wish I could have her everyday in my life to keep me on track! Beth is a ROCKSTAR!!! She wanted a wedding with multiple day events (wine tour, welcome party, ceremony on the Cornell campus, two cocktail parties, reception and a brunch). We were also challenged with having 160+ guests from out of town. My daughter didn't want a traditional wedding banquet hall look, she wanted to have farm tables with lush greeneries and flowers, and lounge sofas for people to relax. It was hard to find a place around Ithaca to accommodate so many guests. Tara spent days with us in finding a perfect venue for the wedding. On the day of, we had photographers videographers, multiple banquet coordinators, bus drivers. Tara was amazing in coordinating everything and getting everyone to work together. She had 7 pages of the event schedule. She worked tirelessly to refine it with us, down to when food would be delivered for the bridal party to eat before the ceremony. At the end of the reception, when she saw I was going back to the hotel by myself, she personally drove me back. She then delivered flowers for the next morning's brunch to our B&B at 2am. On top of that, she showed up at the brunch to make sure everything was ok and helped us pack up everything. We had few crisis (or we thought) during the wedding, Tara was able to take care of them for us and more importantly calmed us down. All of our guests told us how much fun they had at the wedding and how beautiful the venue was. I think a lot of it was due to Tara's careful planning and diligence. I would highly recommend Tara as a planner for any special event.

Our venue, the Ithaca Farmers Market, requires an immense amount of planning and organization as you must bring in everything (rentals, food, alcohol, decor) yourself. In addition, set-up time is very limited so it pays off to have a team of vendors who have worked well at the market before and know what they're doing and how run of show should go! While we signed on for the month-of package, Tara was so helpful in providing recommendations for additional vendors throughout our planning process who not only have worked market wedding before, but who would be able to help us create our exact vision for the day. Tara was responsive and always made herself readily available, whether it was well-before the month of our wedding or in the days leading up to it. As a self-described Type-A planner, I was so grateful to have Tara on top of everything especially the day before and the day of the wedding so that I could kick back and relax to enjoy such a special day. She executed everything perfectly, - including when a guest stepped on the bottom of my dress and broke off a bustle hook! Not only did she have safety pins of all sizes on hand, she perfectly pinned the dress back into its proper bustle so nobody could even tell! I can't recommend her highly enough - every couple should be so lucky as to have her support, eye for style, and organization on their big day!

For whatever reasons she has not been able to field any requests for assistance or help and we have been working with Amy, who I think is the owner/operator of the Travel Store. Amy sent me an e-mail which was my receipt for the down payment for the cruise. On the day that the balance was due, Amy called me and I paid off the rest of the cruise. This is the only time the Travel Store has tried to contact me. I later inquired as to flights from Syracuse to NYC (fr the cruise) and transfers from the airport to the port of departure. Amy did get back to me and I called in and paid Margaret for the other travel of this trip. I was e-mailed a receipt, again. I have e-mailed Amy and requested a packet for my trip. She indicates that I already received my packet - though she was never present in the store and I have never met her and none of employees have given us anything other than "receipts." I have come to find out that Norwegian has wanted additional pedigree information about myself and wife. I also was not inclined to know about making reservations for dinner and excursions and events on the boat. I called Amy this past Saturday and she asked if she could call me back because she was on the other line. I went to the Travel Store about an hour later and the Store appeared closed for the day. Amy has been avoiding me. If I wanted this treatment or lack of responsibility for customers, I would have used Orbitz or Expedia, etc. I will never use or recommend the Travel Store to anyone and I will be posting reviews on as many places I can so no one else comes to expect any HELP on their trip. It is my guess that this place is mostly in existence for the employees to get good deals on trips.

We had never stayed at a bed and breakfast and weren't sure what to expect. This place exceeded our expectations. The mansion itself is beautiful. Every time we walked around the house we discovered more treasures, everything from the molding to antique pieces. The property has a lovely view of the Erie Canal. Each morning there was coffee waiting or us outside our door on a beautifully arranged tray. Then we went down to breakfast. I hate to repeat myself but the table was also beautifully arranged. We tried several different dishes during our stay, each one delicious. Our host, John and Rebecca, were there for our every need, without being intrusive. After running around all day It was so relaxing to return to our room each night. We asked several relatives to stop by and see the place. Our Aunt was thrilled as she had driven by hundreds of times and never been inside. She was not disappointed. One extra point. They have a friendly dog named Riley who helped us forget how much we missed our own pets. We plan to return here each time we return to Syracuse.

I'm personally uncomfortable with staged photos, but she made me feel at ease. She's very personable and the process was extremely easy and laid back. And the photos.... They speak for themselves. We are so thrilled with how they came out. The sneak peek was out very quickly thereafter and we even received our pictures earlier than we anticipated. They are PERFECT. We absolutely love them and could not recommend Hayley more!!!
