Night time skyline of the city

What a great experience from check in to the beautiful room. City view was amazing, the king size bed was comfy and the room was clean. Love the decor as well. Highly recommend this hotel.

Disappointed with this Marriott Hotel. The room they gave us was awful. The bed spring was broken, the sink was ripping out of the wall and the paint is peeling. The room vent had a rattling noise. It's very strange that Marriott would call this an "autograph collection" hotel. The service was more or less not caring. The only good thing was the restaurant. Honestly this hotel makes me question why have loyalty to the Bonvoy program and switch to Hilton. I did address my concern and they apologized, but doesn't really remedy the situation. The room I stayed in was 747. Don't stay here if they assign it, ask for a different room. This hotel was an embarrassment to Marriot brand. Google is not letting me upload photos but will try again.

We found this hotel on the Bonvoy app because we were looking for a place to stay for our anniversary weekend. Usually we stay in the city but prices were so expensive. This hotel was perfect because of its location. It is literally steps from the Port Imperial ferry and then 9 mins to Manhattan. We got upgraded to a room with a view because we told them we were celebrating our anniversary. The hotel is very nicely decorated and our room was nice. Modern and very tasteful. We would stay again.

I had a Marriott anniversary night to use and wanting something special. We were traveling for not the best of reasons and I needed a change of pace, not a typical off the highway type of Courtyard etc. In steps Envue, which did not disappoint in any sort of way. Sure, the shower gel was empty but they had a replacement within minutes at the door. Everything from the professional gentleman who checked us in, to teaching me how to quickly use the card in the elevator, on down to the gorgeous views both inside the lobby as well as the outdoor deck, this place is impeccable and you don't need to pay Manhattan prices for luxury. We did not end up with the view room because those with two beds are all on the opposite side, which was fine and I understand. Even so, if I wanted to see the city, I could easily head on down to the bar area and front desk. The room itself is fairly spacious for NYC area, beautiful accent lighting above the beds. It also came with a safe and small fridge. The infinity pool was immaculate and looked to be rarely used. I felt kind of bad at first bringing my two young kids but since nobody was using things like this, they had a blast with just their parents and nobody else. Parking was easy and fairly cheap at $22 right around the corner for a full day. The ferry service to Manhattan literally across the street is an added bonus for those that want to get into the city quickly. I can't recommend this place enough and hope I have a room credit again in the future to do a little more exploring of the area.

Loved our stay here. We took the 8 minute ferry in from NYC (39th street) and it was a perfect mini staycation and escape from the hustle and bustle of Manhattan. The views are wonderful. Beautiful hotel. Rooftop restaurant is good. Great service. Try to get the continental breakfast. For now it is 7a-10a. Pretty good selection to choose from - toast, eggs, ham, fruit etc. When we called the front desk they were always friendly and responsive. If you have small children, there is a small park nearby with swings and a slide. No room service but there is a Dunkin' Donuts next door if you want to get some water and a few snacks to stash in the room. We totally forgot about the pool and gym on the 7th floor but will check it out next time. We will be back Envue!

Great spot. So stylish and well located. Incredible bed. Jaw dropping views from our room and lobby. Great coffee and mini bar. Breakfast was included in our package but was very average and slow. Bartenders were fantastic as was outdoor area. Parking was $22 a night and in building. Ferry right across the street meant you could be in NYC midtown in 10 minutes.

My #1 fav place to stay for a nyc skyline view, great beds, rooms are huge, food is yummy, great location, transportation options, parking, you can do laundry at the sister location Residence Inn, service wasn't the best but I believe it's due to Covid labor demand/supply issues. And a full bar, plus outdoor seating. This place has everything you need and more. Highly recommend it!!!

I did reach out to mark on my reservation that I would be late, but when I arrived, I was not thanked for staying, being a platinum member, asked if I wanted points, wasn't offered water, none of the normal things. I got in my room and went back to ask if I had the correct room as an upgrade, I was given a laminated picture saying my room is a suite and the construction next door impairs my river view. We used to stay over whenever had to goto NYC for late nite events. But due to a rude receptionist last year, we have not stayed for a while. The room was ready and receptionist, Jordon was very pleasant and kind. There is a king bed in the bedroom and a separate kitchen and living area with a TV. I had to work in the daytime and the wifi was strong for meetings throughout the day. With our benefits, we had 4pm checkout on the last day. We had some errands to run and got back late but they were so nice to allow us some additional time to finish packing. While it is a pretty penny, I would highly recommend staying at the Pendry as it's totally worth it. The staff is so incredibly kind and they remember details of your stay if you tell them the reason for your occasion. I read online that the Pendry in Manhattan has Japanese minimalism influence and I can totally see that with the natural light that shines in and contrasts against the wood furniture and accents. We snowboard first and then go back to a hotel in the area to enjoy dinner, anime, and some alone time together. It's literally one of my favorite things to look forward to every month. The hotel is within close proximity to the American Dream Mall, but like all the other hotels in the area, you either have to drive over, take a shuttle over (if it is offered by the hotel), or get an Uber/Lyft. It is not within walking distance. PARKING I remember CLEARLY being weirded out by the location of this hotel. I had to make a sudden left turn in on a really busy street while it was raining, and the parking lot was so weird! I had my snowboard and his in the car, so I really worried about leaving it in the parking lot overnight. Thankfully it was safe, but it did not give me good vibes at all! So we parked my car in close proximity to a security camera. That being said, the parking is free! The parking lot, is kind of small and cramped in size, and the staircase to get into the hotel is kind of confusing. There is no map saying which way to go. CHECKING-IN Upon checking in, the hotel is absolutely stunning. I had to use the restroom upon entering because I drank too much water while snowboarding earlier in the day, and the guest restroom was HUGE and stunning on its own. Checking-in was a breeze, especially since we book everything through booking.com ROOM I was expecting something fancier, I'm not going to lie. The whole check-in area and guest restroom were so fancy, the reviews on Google are close to a 5-star, so my expectations were high. But the room did not meet those expectations. It's a room. Would we return? It wouldn't be our first choice or our third for that matter. The remote didn't work so we couldn't turn on the TV or change the channels at all, and we had to watch anime on his phone instead. This was the hotel that made us realize, we need to start bringing an iPad with us because the hotel's appliances don't always work. That's been a fact if you check my profile for all our hotel stays. BATHROOM Well-lit bathroom, good shower, hot water runs quickly and well. Kind of cramped in size. BREAKFAST They do have a well-stocked for breakfast, but we didn't really like anything they had despite we grabbed some stuff to go the next day. My man even got some coffee to have before work, and he didn't like it at all so we had to do a quick Starbucks run instead. Eat at your own risk. OVERALL I can't say anything about the other amenities because we didn't stay here long nor were we prepared to utilize them. Although, I don't see us returning either to try them out. It was around $200 a night when we stayed here, on a weekday. It is what it is, but I feel kind of let down.

The greatest treat was Roxanne, the evening manager, who welcomed me like a family member, and then texted later to make sure everything was going well. The day manager texted me during the day as well, so I always felt like they were looking out for me. That neighborhood is well known to me, and I feel like you know going in, you're not there to spend time on the block. The walk to and from the Newport Path Station is easy breezy and on wide streets with stoplights. The walk to the Hoboken Path is "fun," you walk under train tracks, and up along the train yard, but it's not something you'd want to do if you're not adventuresome. There's a Chinese take-out directly on the corner, and there's a really nice grocery store across the street in a plaza with a Popeye's, a Papa John's, and that plaza is right behind a Target, so it's easy to pick stuff up on your way to your room, or on the way out the door for touring.
