Brandon at Nail Envy was very nice, his massages were nice and he was very polite. However he rushed through doing my pedicure and manicure. $55 for a pedicure and manicure, I showed up around 1:45 and left at 2:38. I asked for no polish for my manicure but you can see below the quality was not great. Even without polish. My nails are uneven and I still have a lot of dead skin surrounding my cuticles. I got them done on the 7th for my birthday and I'm severely disappointed. I blame myself for not double checking his work before paying. However I wouldn't have paid $55 for this when I can do it at home and probably better. I was excited because of the reviews and the vibe he brought and how nice he was but now I'm out of $75 including his tip with nails that look like crap. I asked for a manicure and deluxe pedicure. What I got was a partial pedicure, and no manicure at all, except I was charged for a manicure. My nails weren't even cut or filed even. The polish wasn't even. I could have done a better job myself blindfolded. He had me soak off my gel strips myself in acetone, but then just painted right over the acetone, didn't let me wash my hands or anything. Worst experience of my life. I'll never be back. The massage chair was broken, none of the utensils were sanitized. Black things floating in the water. The entire shop was gross and unclean. I wish he had just told me when I arrived that he didn't want to serve me and I could have went elsewhere. Because it really seemed like I was a bother to him. Visited Envy Nails Bar today to get dip nails removed and replaced, as well as to get a pedicure. I am very pleased with the way my nails look, and they took very good care of me while I was there. They listened to me to determine what I wanted (dip nails thin and not too long, toe nails short), and they gave me exactly what I wanted and asked for. Helen gave a wonderful pedicure with a delicious leg and foot massage; Brandon worked very hard to make sure my nails were the thickness and length that I needed them to be to be able to play piano. I wish I could leave less than a one star review, I came in to get an acrylic set and everything was fine at first, then at the end when I said I didn't like my nails the woman starts screaming at me, threatens to call the cops and I just asked if she would fix them and she refused. My nails are crooked, over filed, the paint is so uneven, chunks of acrylic underneath my nails, and she got acrylic all over my fingers which I had to remove myself. I got cussed out by her and she told me I was a horrible person because I did not like them, all I wanted was for her to fix them, her and the owner refused and said they would only take them off and I was to still pay full price(" I am the owner of this salon and I command you to pay"). I would not recommend this place to my dog, the most rude, nasty and unprofessional place I have ever been too. The only pleasantness I got from this salon was the lady getting her nails done next to me trying to calm me down after being yelled at. Me and my friend went over to envy nails bar and it was honestly not that good. some people may have had a better experience but, my acrylic nails were lumpy and uneven. it was just terrible. the worst acrylics i've ever gotten. they scheduled too many people at one time and they weren't taking the time they needed to get the nails correct because they had so many other people waiting. would not recommend this place for anyone. Also, they changed the prices when we got there we were told it would be 35 but my friend had to pay 60 dollars for hers and there were no designs or anything like that on them. so i would most definitely not recommend this place to anyone. read more

Favorite nail place. Have been going here for 4 years. Friendly staff/very clean salon. Will not go anywhere else. They do pedicures/manicures and eyebrows. Try the peppermint pedicure. What that person said about refusing service due to people with a disability is untrue. I was disabled when I first started coming they never refused service to me. The place looks a little messy inside but somehow it is still very comforting. The gentle men who did my acrylic nails was very fast and on point. They were perfect. I would not come back to this nail salon. The manicure was not even a true manicure; I might as well have just gotten polish. The tools and the salon did not seem clean. I left with polish all over my fingers and cuticles poorly cut. My friend that came with me had several cuts and her finger was bleeding! Terrible experience! Will never go back! Three of us went together for gels on our nails (no pedicures) and they messed up 2 of them. One was "okay" not real great but okay. Mine was poorly applied and gel was real thin, will not last long, is thin and uneven, can see through it in some spots and in less than a week is peeling at the base on a few nails, also globbed up thick and lumpy on the tips of some of them to the point there is a visible hump. The final set was the worst., ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE. Had cotton ball fibers under one nail, two nails were uneven color, dark in some spots. She asked to have those fixed, Brandon had attitude and hurriedly filed on them and said they were fine, did not fix the problems but just dismissed her as done. Then within a few minutes minutes 2 other nails went dull and cloudy so she showed that to him. He wanted to just put another layer of top coat on them....OBVIOUSLY SOMETHING WAS WRONG !. So she told him to just take it off. He drilled them down (never soaked them at all) and cut 8 out of 10 of her cuticles and even drilled deep into her nail bed a few times to the point of pain. She was crying when she left. Oh, and he tried to charge her $35 for the gels, she balked at paying that so he insisted she owed him at least $10 for "removing" it. I would not have given him a dime but she just paid ten and went to her car crying. We had called a few days before and had an appointment for 3 of us, got there and they only had 2 available techs. The third one had just started someone else. We got there at 12:58 for our 1 PM appointment, Brandon had called at 12:50 wanting to know if we were going to be there and we told him yes we were on out way, but they started a walk-in anyway. As people (other walk-ins) showed up after we were there, they would stop working on us to get them in a chair and started so they wouldn't leave then come back and work on us some. With APPOINTMENTS we were there over TWO HOURS for just nails, no pedicures. They didn't even start mine for the first hour and we left with only two sets done because one was so bad it had to be removed and one of the ones that was done was improperly done. Saddest part is, the one that was messed up the worst and ended up being removed, was the reason we were there....we had "tricked" her into going for a girls day manicure so her hands would look nice because her boyfriend was going to propose to her and we knew she would want her hands to look nice in the photos....it was a surprise to her that he was proposing so we couldn't tell her and her hands looked ten times WORSE after leaving because Brandon chewed up her nails with the drill. it was HORRIBLE! Fortunately, after she stopped crying in the parking lot she decided to go to SOHO and get them fixed, kind of had to because they were so chewed up and jagged could not leave them bare. SOHO did a great job, boyfriend proposed as planned and her nails look beautiful in the photos. SO VERY SAD that our fun girls day was such a disaster. AND the longer I sat there in the semi dark at Envy (and I was there a LONG TIME) the more I looked around and realized how dirty and nasty that place is. We will never be back, EVER! Incompetent staff, issues with either the gel or light that caused bad finishes, extremely dirty and they take forever even with appointment because once they start you they know you won't leave, so they just start everyone that comes in the door too so they won't leave. Literally had 2 pedicure stations and all five manicure stations seated and started with only 2.5 employees. The half employee is the one that had to leave because her daughter had locked her keys in her car. I understand family emergencies but her and Brandon yelling at each other about it in front of us was very unprofessional and made us extremely uncomfortable (he kept yelling at her to call a locksmith, she kept yelling back at him). Just added to the horrible experience.... Of course when she got back from helping her daughter Brandon had her start on another walkin instead of finishing one of us first. read more
