The salon is relaxing, they have multiple televisions, and free snacks & drinks. The place gets VERY busy so I recommend getting an appointment in advance (they do take walk-ins though)! I contemplated writing a review for this salon, and after about a week, I decided to do it, in hopes of saving people from disappointment. My roommate and I went here about a week and a half ago. I got a gel mani and pedi and he got a regular mani and pedi (no color). I booked our appointments online, which was a feature I liked and probably the only reason for the one star review. (If I could give .5 of a star I would) With booking online, you have the ability to choose the type of pedicure you'd like (there are different levels, like almost any nail salon). I chose their classic pedicure which is $33 and their gel manicure is $35. Now I understand that there had to be an extra charge for getting gel on my toes, but when I go to the check out and my bill was $107?? I didn't get anything extra, didn't get any designs, white toes and nude nails. I asked why my price was drastically different, and the lady looked at me as if I was dumb with no real reason. The "owner" or the lady who was in charge while we were there was EXTREMELY rude to us. Didn't greet us or welcome us just said "What do you want?" when we walked in. She offered other guests coming in drinks, but not us. All in all, I don't want to sound like a Karen, because I'm not. I make fun of Karen's in my free time, BUT, I was so stunned by the prices and lack of service/communication that I couldn't help but write my frustrations out in hopes that other people don't experience the same thing I did. I typically don't do reviews however, my fingers are very sore, the cuticles almost started bleeding and my finger nail was bent back when tryng to remove gel. I have been doing my nails for over 30 years and unfortunately this was an awful experience. I would avoid the older gentleman who works there. Walked in for a pedicure yesterday around 4:30. No wait time, not crowded, nice relaxing spa music playing. Anne was so caring in the way she did my pedicure, checking if the hot towels and water weren't too hot for me, making sure I liked my color choice, offering a drink, fixing a nail with no complaint when I touched it on my flip flop, and giving a great massage with just the "classic pedicure". Nails look great! It was also very nice that everyone in the salon spoke English well, making it easy to communicate. Though it does cost a few dollars more than some other salons I've visited, I will definitely be back because of the level of attention and care. Thank you Venus! read more

I am very hard on nail spas. First of all there are a half 1 million of them in town. Second of all they are so hit or mess that great reviews on one can still mean a horrible pedicure in the end. I did not find this to be the case at Venus nail spa. I was totally thrilled that everyone in the spa spoke English. Or at least good enough English to Caryonah conversation. The owner and his wife or maybe it's the owner and her husband are absolutely some of the most delightful and funny people I've ever met at a nail spa. The spa uses the plastic covers in the bowl so you are guaranteed a fungus free pedicure. Though the nail polish selections We're not as good as a lot of other places, I will take a few choice colors and an awesome pedicure over all the colors in the world and a fungus field pedicure. This pedicure spa location is a little more spend he then the average nail spa. However I felt that the nail tech took her time, was attentive to me, and really wanted to do a top-notch job. Do not go here. I got dip nails done for my birthday with tips. Not even a day later one broke. I went back and got it fixed. By a week later three more had broken. I went and got them fixed and when I went to leave the lady said "you have to pay for those." I had to pay $15 to get three nails fixed since I had already gotten one nail fixed. I had already paid over $60 to get them done in the first place. I have gotten dip nails at orher places that didn't break. Would not recommend. read more

My girlfriend went here to get her nails done in late July. She went in with a picture, design was nothing crazy and thought it should be pretty simple. She's gotten more difficult looking designs done with no issues before. But this time the nail tech, LeeLee, completely disregarded every request she made. She waited for an hour then when she got seated, it was 30 mins till the salon closed. LeeLee rushed and kept saying "it's fine, it's fine" to every thing my girlfriend said. Attached the pics. Design on each hand is uneven, shapes are uneven, and even when doing the toe warm water dip thing she mentioned the water was too hot(legit had so much steam coming off) and LeeLee just goes "it's fine wait for it to cool" as if the shop doesn't close soon and she's not already rushing. Only saving grace was the gentlemen that was walking around overheard and came to put cold water in the bucket. Would've tipped her so much to stay past closing and just take her time. read more

My son purchased me a pedicure here for my birthday. There are not enough compliments for this place! It is so clean. The workers are so friendly and inviting. I have had several pedicures and this one was above them all. The chairs are spaced well apart and were so comfortable. The music was suddle and soothing. I was offered a drink as soon as I sat down. The lady that performed my Pedi was so thorough and not rough. After a long day of work I truly felt I had been pampered. I would recommend this place to anyone. The owner and his wife did a beautiful job on my nails, which were in very poor shape beforehand. The manicure bar was clean and comfortable, as were all the tools. The owner recommended a nice color for my skin tone and asked me after one nail if I liked the color- very considerate. WONDERFUL SPA!!! This place is not only beautiful but so clean! They use liners in the foot tubs and new tools when during your manicure! They are worth paying a few dollars more for sanitary conditions. I've had two pedicures and they are the best I've ever had. Tiffany recommended the dip powder nails because my nails are extremely weak and thin. I wasn't sure if they would hold up due to my line of work. I've had gel and acrylics for years but nothing would last long. I tried the powdered nails and they have lasted perfectly for over two weeks!! If i could give 0 stars i would. I had an appointment here for 12 pm. I sat and waited in the salon for almost an hour and a half. They did everyone else's nails before mine, even the people who came in after me. The regulars, you could tell. I didn't get seated to actually get my nails done until 1:30. My cuticles did not get pushed back so they look chunky at the bottoms, and the nail polish barely went down the whole nail. 2 days later my acrylic tips were breaking off with the simplest tasks. Got a mani pedi here this am. Finally a place that honors their pricing. I wanted a simple mani pedi nothing fancy (I did get my nails "shaped") and I got it! The place is clean, they line the pedicure bowls and for a basic pedi you get your feet soaked, nails and cuticles trimmed, legs oiled and massaged, then a hot towel wrap and finally polish. Hands are basically the same and this is the bottom of the line for what they offer. I felt they were a great bargain. Soft music, the techs are professional and quiet, you could fall asleep. This is my regular place, they always do good and have great service. A family member and I decided to go today to get pedicures for the new year. It was a quick decision so I wasn't able to make an appointment. We got there and got seated quickly. After about an hour of sitting and waiting someone asked if we wanted something to drink. We hadn't gotten any service at this point, not even water in the foot bath. I just left after a pedicure with Ann. It was absolutely amazing! The massage, hot towels, semi-sweet white wine, soft music etc were all amazing and just what I needed after a rough week. I will for sure be returning when I need another pedicure and some peace and quiet. Do not forget, people in the service industry should be getting a 20% tip if they do their job. If they go above and beyond, you tip more. If you can't afford to tip correctly, you should not be getting your nails done, hair done, massages or be served at a restaurant. I have been going here for 3 years and always had very good experience, until tonight. They are open until 7:30 pm. My sister and myself came in 10 till 6. We was the only ones there. Another lady came in after us. She was helped before me. At 6:50 pm my nails was done. The nail tech told me , " you came in so late, just so you know." I said you are open until 7:30. She said, yes but slow day. I said I am sorry, but most people doesnt get off until 5-6. I told her I have been coming here for 3 years and brought in business. But I wont be back. She laughed and said ok. If they are open until 730, then they need to honor that, slow day or not. read more

My daughter went to have her nails done for prom..she is not a nail person and was already hesitant to have them done. The gentleman that did them made them look horrible. You could see streaks in the paint and he did not cover the ends(tips) of the nails nor did he clean up around the edges. I had her go back the following day to have him repaint them to look better and he charged her another 30.00. She's only 16 and was afraid to speak up or argue with being charged again.
