I absolutely LOVE Envy. I came to the salon looking for someone to do my hair for my wedding as well as my bridesmaids in 2017. My friend connected me with Laura. Laura takes intentional time the first time you meet to ask you questions, feel your hair, and get a clear idea of what you're looking for. If you're not clear, she is great at helping you find that clarity! She took care of me in ways that I couldn't have imagined for the wedding! From brightening up pieces of my hair so they would stand out in the up-do, to taking care of all of my bridesmaids, and just such a fun atmosphere the day you get married. My hair was honestly my favorite part of the wedding. :) Since then Laura has continued to be absolutely amazing. There have been a handful of times where I just tell her to "get creative...do whatever you want" because I have that much trust in her. I've gotten to know a few of the other hair stylists as they will come and chat for a few minutes between appointments and they're just lovely. I also see Karla for nails and she is outstanding as well! I've also gotten to know the other techs. They're also so so friendly and lovely! I came here for a Brazilian wax. First off, it looked decent inside, but I feel nearly $60 is pretty steep for the crammed little room they took me to. Not mention the name 'Envy Salon' didn't exactly scream high class or upscale. I wish I could remember the lady's name. She did seem very passionate and knowledgeable about skin and the various techniques of hair removal. The technique she used on me was old school. She used soft and hard wax. When she first started I was very impressed with how good things were going. My hair was coming out smoothly and my skin was barely irritated. It wasn't until the end when trouble happened. We were running out of time towards the end and I could tell she was rushing, but she still had time to try to make an upsale. She noticed the backs of my thighs could use a wax and was persistent despite my hesitation so I agreed to it. My legs didn't take too well to the wax for some reason. She held my skin back and seemed to be going against the hair growth. I think it just might have been my skin's reaction to the wax. At the end of the session she took out the mirror &&& showed me everything she did. She then showed me a huge rip in my vagina. She literally ripped out a patch of skin! She tried explaining it to me saying that there might have been dead skin that stuck to the wax. I'm skeptical because it happened when she was rushing. Also when I got home my friend and I did our own inspections and on the left side on the inside of my cheeks, she missed a 2 1/2-3 in strip. It was a pretty big spot!! What gets me is she was so pressed for time that she minorly injured me and missed a spot, but she still made time to upsell and spend an extra 5-7 minutes. I feel that an upsell should only be done when there is time for it, not when you don't even have time to do the original job. read more

Awesome! I love going to Envy Salon! Laura has been doing my hair for almost 4 years! She does an excellent job and will do whatever it takes to make your hair beautiful! The atmosphere of the salon is very fun and relaxing...a nice escape for a couple hours! (Especially with a nice glass of wine). Everyone seems friendly and bubbly. I won't be going back. The stylist, Kimberly, that did my hair was snobby. She acted rude when she made a big mistake with red color. I had to come back for a correction due to her mistake, and was charged full price. She was intimidating and abrasive. I didn't argue, I just wanted to get out of the salon. My friend had a bad experience with a different stylist. We both agree it feels rushed, like a low end quickie cut type of place, but with high end prices. read more
