Anema E Core Pizzeria - A metre of pizza!

Anema E Core is a little restaurant (there is only two tables inside opposite their massive coffee machine and their indoor wood fired pizza oven, the rest of the tables are outside and with the weather being rainy they were not set up yet. We ordered the 4 Formaggi (Gorgonzola, Smoked buffalo Mozzarella, fiordilatte, Shaved Parmesan, basil, olive oil) Crudo E Rucola ( Rocket, prosciutto, shaved Parmesan, basil, olive oil) and for dessert the Nutella pizza all for takeaway. The base is ridiculously soft! I am in heaven. Nom nom nom I love this place! Staff are friendly and the chefs have a think Italian accent which adds to the authenticity of this tiny restaurant. We have booked to go again this Sunday, looking forward to trying their other pizzas and the coffee! Ciao :)

It's a small restaurant with a pizza oven but they mount massive tents outside which is where the customers sit. I was concerned that it would be cold in the tent but they had heaters heating up the massive tents. Although the weather is warm and cold at the moment!! Anema E Core is really busy so I recommend you book beforehand.I have read wonderful things about how great their pizza is so I was eager to check it out. The table next to us orders a metre long pizza which looks spectacular. I order the "081" pizza which has a tomato base with mozzarella, ham, mild salami, ricotta, black pepper with basil and olive oil. The pizza came out so quickly and looked amazing. What an efficient kitchen Anema E Core has.The base is nice and doughy. The toppings are basic but come well together like real authentic pizza. I would strongly endorse their pizzas!! Yummo. I also order some dessert including the Nutella donut ( $7). It's quite a sizeable donut, comparable to a small cake. The donut is cut in half with nutella. It's topped with a bit of cream, strawberries, icing sugar and drizzled with more chocolate. Yummo. I love nutella so this donut went down like a treat. woot woot. $7 is also a nice price tag.

The only things I could fault: - As a university student, I struggled to find a lot of items that were affordable. The place is considered to be very expensive. However, it is expected - the presentation of the restaurant basically gives this away. - I remember one dish that's as absolutely not worth the price. This was the lamb skewers- Very expensive for such a small serving. Make sure that if you plan to dine in here that you wear fancy clothes

They have 2 seating times on weekends so make sure you book or you're not going to find a free table. I had high hopes for this place and it delivered. Great atmosphere and great Italian service. I loved how the menu was so different from other Italian places I've been to. That being said they have a very extensive menu which made it difficult to choose from. My only complaint would be that our pizza entree was really salty and my duck ragu was a tad salty but the rest of my table loved their choices. The waiter recommended the linguine con salsiccie e porcini and it was a fabulous recommendation. For anyone as obsessed with truffle as I am, this is definitely the dish for you! There will definitely have to be a trip back for round 2!

Its not bad but it just has potential to be so much better. It's in a decent location, has plenty of seating inside and out, plenty of parking, and is decked out really well. Their menu has plenty of options, the staff are friendly and the prices aren't too bad. Some of the food is a bit on the pricey side but then the drinks are really cheap so I guess it all works out in the end. The reason I can only give it 3 stars is that every time the food has come out its been the same, presentation is amazing but taste is not. They seriously put together some brilliant looking meals but the taste just isn't there. Last time I visited I had one of their pizzas for the first time. Honestly I've had better from Domino's or Pizza Hut so that kinda sealed the deal for me. They do BYO so if I wanted a place to meet some mates, have a few wines and some average food i'd happily go there. If I was after a really nice meal - I'd look elsewhere. A mate that used to go there a lot said it doesn't work as its a middle eastern family trying to do italian food. Not sure if that's true or if thats the reason but there is unfortunately something holding it back from being great.

Partial towards pizza? Fond of fettuccine? Gaga over gnocchi? Rave about ravioli? Love lasagne?…read more You're in luck -Millone's features all your favourite types of pizza and pasta, served with an array of authentic Italian sauces, carefully prepared on the spot. We ordered a table for five for my brother's birthday dinner a few months ago and were seated in a cosy booth. The menu offers a range of starters, platters to share, pastas, over 20 types of pizza, risottos, great grilled steaks, veal and chicken dishes, served with potatoes and seasonal veggies, seafood dishes and salads. Gluten free options are also available. We started our meal with the reliably delicious insalata Caprese: the classic Italian salad that combines red, juicy tomatoes, aromatic basil, fresh mozzarella cheese and a splash of extra-virgin olive oil ($12). Pair this with generous hunks of crusty garlic bread, fresh from the oven and a refreshing 500ml San Pellegrino sparkling mineral water-bliss! Moving on to the mains, I chose the gnocchi aurora ($19.90)-served with napoletana sauce which was tossed with a touch of cream and promptly delivered by a delightful waitress. In fact, the service was attentive during the whole evening and there was an efficient flow to our dining experience even though the place was packed. Anytime one of us needed more water or another serving of garlic bread, the waitress would appear out of thin air; I never had to get her attention. As a group, we all really enjoyed the satay chicken pizza ($20.90) which features the chef's signature peanut sauce. The serving sizes are quite big so if you want to try a few different things and still have room for dessert, I'd suggest skipping the entree entirely. We were so full towards the end but a birthday wouldn't be complete without dessert. The waitress realized what the occasion was when we were handing my brother gifts and cards while enjoying freshly roasted coffee, and appeared five minutes later with a slice of cake and a candle for him, and we sang Happy Birthday in the restaurant. A really nice touch. The nutella pizza ($14.90)-topped with icing sugar, cream & fresh strawberries was impossible to say no to and a heavenly indulgence for those with a sweet tooth like me. If I was nitpicking, I would say the restaurant is a teeny-weeny overpriced (mains can be as high as $40) and can get noisy (I was struggling to hear the person sitting right next to me). Otherwise, a flawless dining experience! Pair tasty, authentic Italian fare with the warmest and most welcoming service this side of Italy, and I've just found my favourite new hotspot for a classy Italian lunch or dinner!
