EP Window Films and Coverings just completed installation and I had requested a film that had high heat rejection but still allowed maximum clarity of my view of downtown. While it is January and I am unable to vouch for the heat rejection at this time, I was very pleased with the clarity of the film and the professionalism of the team the came to my home. The team was very polite, covered the carpet during the work and moved all the furniture back to its original location. Chris was extremely helpful when I described what I was trying to accomplish and suggested the Avery Dennison SP e-Lite 70i; the product has a lifetime warranty. Chris was also very responsive and honest; I had overpaid by $75 and he returned my money immediately; this gave me some assurance that if there was a problem in the future, Chris would resolve it. read more

Had a great experience working with Chris at EP Window Films. He quickly scheduled a visit and brought samples to demonstrate how much UV light could be blocked out and how dark each tint was. He presented a variety of options for different budgets. He was patient as we did our due diligence, but we came back to EP Window Films because of all their stellar reviews and because we felt the most comfortable with them. On the date of the install, the crew arrived right on time and worked quickly. We have older windows, so they had to measure and cut for each panel exactly. They did such a clean job on the install, we honestly can't tell a difference from the inside. But from the outside, the tint definitely offers more privacy and I can tell will block out a ton of sunlight and heat during the summer. The company and its installers were very professional-they did a fantastic job. I absolutely love the film that I put up in the bathroom windows-it lets in enough light and the stones' pattern reflects the lavender wall in different tones and strengths. Just beautiful. The installers were so polite, and very efficient. They explained everything that they were doing to me and left me with information and numbers to call if I needed anything. I will use them again in a heartbeat! I thought of trying to put in stained glass windows, but this option is not only a more reasonable cost, but the resulting lighting is perfect for the bathroom. We decided that one room in our house was getting insufficient A/C and was really hot during the recent temperature extremes. So we decided that the only way to remedy this was to get the windows tinted with a heat-reducing film. We also decided that we needed to get two 5-star companies out to give us estimates. EP's representative was promptly available and gave an excellent presentation and estimate -- about 1/3 lower than the competition. And, the work is guaranteed for life. Today, as I write this review, the installers, Chris and his assistant have finished the room that we contracted to have the film installed and they did such a great job that we had them install film on several more windows, and, again, the price was more than reasonable. And yes, we definitely recommend them. One more note is that when we were searching for two companies with high ratings to give us estimates, we noticed on Yelp that there were two reviews, one 5-star and one very low review but that low review was for a job in San Francisco, California where EP does not operate and could not have done what was stated in the review. I assume that Yelp has placed that negative review on the wrong company. So, for anyone looking over reviews for EP in the Houston area, I suggest that you simply disregard the San Francisco review which obviously does not apply to this company. read more
