    Shirt winner!

My family and I went here for my birthday -- my first time axe throwing! Husband had been before but my sons and son's girlfriend had not. The employee helping us was great. He gave us tips until we were able to throw well. I went from not being able to get it on the board to hitting the bullseye. He also came up with fun competitions for us and eldest son was thrilled to beat us all and win a shirt. The hour flew by. We all had fun and would do it again.

When having a team outing, this works great as there are good & drinks right there. Has about 4 lanes so massive crowds don't work but definitely a fun time.

The location isn't optimal in that it's a bit tucked away (failed to get photos of the area) and I feel they'd have FAR more customers in a more visible location. That being said, gps helped us and we made it there! We arrived for a 5:00pm appointment on a Friday and we were the only ones there. I'm guessing because everyone was just getting off work. The place is very clean and neat looking. The owner Lisa greeted us and has a very calm and friendly demeanor. We all signed electronic waivers via the QR code at check in and paid up front. They also have a texting system to help make changes to your reservation, cancel appt, reminder of upcoming appointment, etc. They require a deposit of $30 to make the appointment and reserve the room. The other two people in our party paid once we got there. It was $30 for 15 minutes in the rage room. Depending on how much rage you need to work out, you may need to reserve more time! They also have a paint splatter room, ax throwing, pool table and a few other activities there. They provide coveralls, face shield, heavy duty work gloves and shoe covers. They have a speaker in the room that you can connect your music to, so YOU pick the music!! Very cool feature, I thought! Lisa was so very accommodating as she helped us get our fear on, set up a camera inside a jar in the room to record, taking our photo, etc. We really appreciated her patience and help with making it a great experience!!! There were three crates (one for each of us) filled with bottles, plates, cups, etc. for us to throw or smash with the selection of weapons provided. In addition, there was a windshield, a computer tower and a dummy and a tire (although we didn't utilize that) that you could take your aggression onto on. Obviously there are rules for safety that need to be followed but overall you're free to express your anger in ways that are therapeutic. Only adults are allowed. I think it used to be 18 but I believe they had to increase the age minimum due to some customers not following safety protocols. (They care about our safety!) I will absolutely be going back!!! For more time in the rage room, the paint splatter room AND the ax throwing! Go check it out. Then leave them what I'm sire will be a great review!!

We watched the training video and our room was ready for us to let loose some anger, sadness and hurt. We didn't hook this to celebrate, we booked this to try to work out some trauma (a bit different than some other reviews). It was therapeutic and we had a good time, plus a few tears mixed in. It's pricey (my total was $218!) but it's a one and done and we really went nuts in there, including playing rage metal!

On Wednesdays, you can get 20% off for doing both so this was a good deal considering how much we were already spending. The staff are all very nice, welcoming, and helpful. We started with the rage room and were led to a room where we watched a safety video and changed into our gear. There are clean jumpsuits, masks, goggles, and gloves. Once you've used the equipment/clothing, there are bins for you to put them in to be cleaned. The rage room was SO much fun and quite the workout. With the birthday add-on, we had a windshield, confetti bottle, and powder bomb to hit. The 35 minutes doesn't seem like a lot but trust me! Between two people, this was a perfect amount of time. They give you different tools to smash stuff with like a mallet, bats, and crowbars. After changing out of our gear, we grabbed a couple of beers at the bar to cool down before going to our paint room. The beer is cold and super affordable. When we were ready, we walked to another room to watch another safety video and to get into our painting gear (it costs $5 for a hairnet, shoe covers, and a poncho, which I recommend getting). The splatter room was amazing! It was fun throwing paint at our canvases and feeling creative while we were under a black light. One of the little additions I loved to both of the experiences is that they have a speaker in each room where you can listen to your own music and get inspired or just let it all out. I will absolutely come back here!!

It wasn't very crowded on Sunday afternoon when I went. Fun fact: They serve beer and you can ( and should) tip the throwing coach. My friend had 2 coupons that she received in the mail for half off of a 1 hr ax throwing session so we decided to double date it up and check it out. When you enter, you have to go in and sign a waiver (scan QR code w phone). Filing out the waiver was quick and easy. You are then provided a coach, our coach was Zach. This guy was amazing. He goes over all the rules and then give you tips and guides you on how to throw the ax correctly. What I really loved about Zach, other than his great personality, was the fact that he personalized the throwing for each individual based on their unique size, style and ability. He was very kind, patient and encouraging. The 3 rd time that I threw I got the center (then I didn't hit it again the rest of the time, lol). He often even goes and collects the ax for you after each throw. within the first few minutes he had us all hitting and sticking it in the board. Zach stayed w is the whole time and helped us refine our throwing technique. Definitely worth checking this place out. I'm looking forward to going back. I don't think I would go back and pay full price though.

Started off ordering some food which comes pretty quickly at a decent value for your money. Food was surprisingly good for a non-restaurant! They have plenty to offer from drinks to full meals. Onto the games. Plethora of games to choose from, certainly something for everyone. There are different packages that offer different amounts of tokens for games--all depends on what you're there for. For us, the real attraction was karting. It was everything you could want for in karting. We went during the week so it wasn't overly busy outside of a camp with kids. Our wait times were not bad at all. They give you some basic instructions, rules, safety brief, and then throw you to the wolves. Was an amazing time. 5 Karting Stars out of 5!
