Angela made our wedding day so special, she really did way too much for us to capture out special day! She traveled to two locations for us, the SJ Rosegarden and Fuze Lounge - after flying up to Norcal from her Socal location. We had a great sunset shoot in the garden after the ceremony, she knew all the places to get the shot and she made us laugh so much after such a serious and emotional moment. She was on her feet all night, catching all the moments and her preview of untouched portraits are so good we are salivating with the anticipation of her final shots! Angela was even kind enough to arrive at the bar with us when we forgot to book a ride between both locations, and we didn't have our phones! We recently worked with Angela for our engagement photos. Both of us were hesitant to book a photo shoot in general because we had never done a professional shoot before. My girlfriend had used Angela for her engagement photos, which turned out beautifully. She said they had a blast working with her. Angela did a beautiful job photographing my family at Johnny Carson Park in May. She was prompt, had already scoped out the best spots for optimal lighting when we arrived, and provided suggestions for how to organize our shoot. She's also just a really nice person. Angela outdid herself AGAIN! Another Epic photoshoot. My boyfriend recently proposed to me during a photoshoot on the beach. Earlier, in October 2013, while taking photos for our Holiday cards, he remembered Angela mentioning that she would be getting a new camera lens soon. A few weeks later, he secretly told her to reach out to me to plan a shoot for December, right before Christmas, to "try out" the new lens. I didn't ask any questions and planned the shoot to be on a beach just north of Santa Cruz. I was excited to take the photos on the beach with an old $20 loveseat we bought at Goodwill. It was an idea I got from a date that we had at the same beach 2 years earlier, where we saw an old beat-up couch just sitting on the beach. The photoshoot was going great. Then, unbeknownst to me, when the photoshoot was over all of us were discussing the shoot "Do we feel good? Did we get all the shots and poses we want?" My boyfriend then takes a step back and says "I can think of one more pose..."as he dropped down to one knee, "Will you marry me?" he asked. I was in shock! "YES!" We continued to take more "engagement" photographs as the sun was setting. He knows how much I love photos and he knew how happy I would be to have our engagement caught on camera. It was PERFECT. SHE'S AMAZING. period. HANDS DOWN. Angela shot our engagement shoot. Of course the day we originally scheduled to shoot was the ONLY day that it rained. I was an excited bride and just wanted to get it out of the way and even told her that we would be fine with just taking pictures inside somewhere. She actually offered to reschedule and even waited until the hour before we were supposed to meet if the rain showed or not. it did. and I was completely bummed. but Angela seriously cheered me up and saved the day by letting us realize that this was a once in a lifetime event so she wanted to do the shoot where WE wanted, somewhere that was special to us and meant something to us. She had no problem re-scheduling and working with our schedule. The day finally came and of course, the spot was covered with tourists and it was so windy.
