My granddaughter has been going there for 5 years and she likes it but it is the worse customer service I have ever seen . The women at the front are extremely rude and not welcoming at all. They don't seem to like the children or the parents that come there and it is not cheap. It's sad, but I will not be going back there with my granddaughter. I will take us someplace else for gymnastics. It would be wise to have some smiling faces when you walk in the door. My niece has tried a few gymnastics gyms in the area and Devlin/Epic is by far the best. The hands-on coaching, development, attention to skillsets, etc. are great. The coaches are so attentive to each child and are loved by the kids. Makes me happy to see how excited my niece gets to go! read more

Office manager/receptionist at front desk is INCREDIBLY rude. For all the money we pay to this place, I would think they could at least be helpful and approachable upon arrival. Have dealt with her for a number of years now and she has not once been nice nor answered my questions. My daughter moved up a level this year, and yet I didnt receive a "letter." Without the letter, the receptionist would not even check the records to see if she should move up. Turns out she was qualified to move up a level. I always leave the office with a seething rage over the degrading and condescending , nasty treatment from the front desk. It's too bad the instructors are so good, or else I would have no problem switching gyms simply because of the lack of courtesy from the staff. read more

So saddened by Epic (under new ownership since Devlin) We have gone to Devlin for years and my daughter loved it. While the teachers are great, Epic started canceling and rearranging classes 2 months after class selection. As a working mom with 3 children's after school schedules to balance- it was impossible to find another set of classes!!!! I had to tell both of my daughters they can't do gymnastics anymore because they randomly cancelled the class! Awful customer service and don't even get me started on the ladies at the front desk. If i could give this place less than a star i would. The people they have working at the front desk have little to no customer service skills. I signed my daughter up for a TRIAL and thank god it was just that. I am so happy i did not waste a dime of my money on the racket that this place is. The employees were rude to myself and my five year old daughter from the moment we stepped in the door. It was total disorganized chaos. we were given little to no direction and treated poorly because we didn't know what was going on. It's a surprise to me that this place has been around as long as it has, I'd never blow my money somewhere with employees who treated their customers like trash. read more

I agree! I signed my daughter up for a trial this week, from the moment I walked into the door, we were treated poorly. The two women at the front desk were very rude and nasty! They yelled at my daughter and her friend, because they were excited, and jumping. They obviously shouldn't be working there if they cant handle kids. You would think your front desk staff would be pleasant, since its the first thing you see when running a business. Not in this case! We were given no direction as to where to go for the trial class either. The trail class started, and my daughter and her friend were left sitting in the waiting room. Don't waste your time and money here! They are also more expensive then other places. Not to mention the waiting room is like a zoo! Will be researching other locations. Couldn't pay me to send my child here! Don't write many reviews but in this case it was necessary! read more

My son and I take the mom and me classes and we absolutely love his coach! My son recently turned two and is an only child. Going to class is good for him socially and definitely physically now that the weather has changed. The lesson plan and circuits have helped me get him back on track with napping. My kids have been going to Epic (Devlin) for a couple years now and they have a wonderful time as well as great instruction, as a former gymnast myself, I wish I had a team of coaches this professional when I was an active gymnast. My daughter has been going here for several years since she was two. They are amazing with her and she just adores her coach, Caroline.

So today we took my daughter and met her friend to Devlin Gymnastics. The girls had gotten matching leotards for the class and they were/have been beyond excited all week to have their first gymnastics class together. All 4 parents rearranged schedules so we could all could see their first day. My wife enrolled my daughter over the phone and the woman said it was ok my daughter was just shy of her 3rd birthday as long as she was potty trained especially since the session would go through her birthday on January 26. We got to Devlin at 8:45 for the 9AM class with the girls holding hands skipping into the building just to be told the girls can't do class since my daughter is not three. Now I respect policies and can appreciate the standing by them, however, this is not an insurance policy it's just "the" policy. Mind you the only reason they knew my daughter was not 3 was because we had to write her birthdate on a form when we arrived. In reality, I could have just lied on the paper we filled out and said my daughter's bday was 11-26 instead of 1-26. The lady behind the counter even said the same thing, but she responded, now it's too late. Too late!?!? Two little girls hearts were now broken, crying that we had to leave, guess it's to late to fix that? . We even asked for a one day exception...just so they would not be totally disappointed, but they would not even do that. It's just "policy". What it really is, is just shitty customer service and a shitty place that ruins a little kids day. read more

My daughter has been a gymnast at Devlin for over 3 years. She had been on teams at two other gyms, and when she competed, she struggled with her scores. Within the first year of training at Devlin, her scores went up by over 2 points. Devlin is a wonderfully run gym. Mary and Mike are awesome and always hire the best coaches. We happily drive over 30 miles round trip 8 times a week. If you are looking for a great gym, try Devlin! read more

I am SO frustrated!! We have been going to "Devlin" for YEARS and now that they've changed owners, SO much has changed!! The prices went up, the gym is OVERLY crowded with kids/classes/parents/siblings...it's a ZOO! Plus, they started canceling and rearranging classes which is not conducive to working parents! We are definitely leaving as soon as our child is old enough and they MAKE her do an hour and a half class for pre-completion (a million dollars later). i enrolled ny son for gymnastics when he was two years old and now again when he was seven. they are doing the same things now as when he was two years old. this place should not be doing boys gymnastics the old guy is rude and has no patience. the front desk women are rude and are not helpful at all. forget about approaching them because they look at you as if you were bothering them. i would not reccommend this place to anyone as a matter of fact i have told other parents not to join them. theyve lost their touch. read more

The only reason why this place is busy is because its one of the only ones around, the employees act like they owe you something,. they overcrowd the classes and really get a half hour of gymnastics in their hour class.If you get a nice instructor your lucky, but some seriously need to retire. read more
