The staff at Kiddie Academy is fantastic. I would recommend the center without reservation. They know their kids as and really care about them as individuals. The teacher to student ratio in practice (on a daily basis) is lower than the publicized ratios, and there is an extra teacher and Assistant Director who lend a helping hand across the rooms, in addition to the Director. The core teachers in both the infant and toddler rooms are caring, loving and create a wonderful environment for the children. My twins are quite attached to their teachers at Kiddie Academy. In the infant room, the teachers helped me transition them to solids, cuddled and gave our daughter lots of 1:1 attention, and worked with their gross motor skills in encouraging crawling, cruising, and walking. In the toddler room, the teachers would plan fun toddler art projects, daily sensory activities, singing/dance in the mornings, circle time for book reading, and would go outside for playtime twice per day. Often it's the people that make a difference, and this is definitely true at Kiddie Academy. The staff, leaders, parents, and other children are what make the center special. It would be very difficult to assess a center without your child actually attending the school. I'm sorry to hear about the previous reviewer's experiences at Kiddie Academy but it doesn't accurately reflect my experiences with Kiddie Academy over the few years in the same rooms.

I really enjoyed that they let the kids interchange between free play and singing and dancing together with bells, parachutes, bean bags, and bubbles. The kids were not forced to do one thing for too long.
