I have to mention that my experience was probably different because I found this business on ETSY.com and I didn't walk-in to his business. I am always leary purchasing items via online instead of person. However, I took a chance purchasing this item online because another Yelp Elite recommended them. My 2 star rating is based off the customer service that I experienced over the phone with the owner, lack of communication, and not having a timely response during the holidays. Quick story recap: I reached out to the store weeks prior to Christmas for a custom shirt and I received a response days later or a week later. I decided to call by phone and the owner was not polite, said he didn't have time for me and rushed me off the phone. Pretty rude. Not courteous at all. I understand that during the holidays all businesses are super busy fulfilling orders, but I truly believe that if you are spending money on a small or big business, willing to work with the store as far as shipping/pick up, the owner should be nicer to the customer. Maybe this business used to be good, but certainly not now. I ordered from them online about 10 days ago and was supposed to have delivery today. I checked the tracking number and the item was not even mailed yet. I called and spoke with Rene, the owner, and he was overwhelmed. I told him I just wanted to have the item by Friday (in 3 days ). This is certainly possible to have this done, but he stated it was easier for him just to cancel the order. Initially messaged Rene back in December for a quote for 3-4 shirts and he was able to send me a mockup with the provided artwork. When I asked him when's a good time for me to come by so I could see the different types of shirts he had available, no response. Fast forward 2 months, messaged him again. Hours passed, no response. Decided to call him. He asked for me to email him the artwork again, which I did with some minor updates. He sent me the mockup with the old design, so I asked him to use the updated one I sent. And he asked me to send the artwork again. At this point, I'm already annoyed. I'm on the phone with him again & let him know which type of shirt I decided on. His response: "So did you decide if you want (A) or (B)?" I just said Choice A... He then asked if I wanted him to print out a sample on the shirt so I could come by to see what it would look like before printing out the rest of the order. I asked him if the sample would have my artwork on it or just a random design. He responded with a rude tone: "DO YOU WANT ME...TO PRINT..A SAMPLE..FOR YOU?" He also proceeded to say that my order is "just 4 shirts." At the end of the phone conversation, he rushed me off the phone and said he would email me an official quote and have the sample ready by a certain day. I did not hear back from him since. Overall, just rude and unprofessional. Would not recommend at all, especially if you have a small order since Rene didn't take my "just 4 shirts" that seriously. *Update 2/13/23* The 6 piece minimum was not communicated to me, nor was the deposit for the sample. I requested a formal quote for the 4 shirts + the tax that Rene mentioned over the phone, sent via email, but that was never received. Only an informal quote was received for one shirt via text. Yes, a picture of the sample was received on Saturday, but the agreement was for Thursday and there was no update Thursday or Friday. So I went with another company.
