The sunglasses were another story entirely. Over the span of 4 months, I was told that the lab was having a difficult time making the glasses I ordered, that they messed them up and had to restart, that another lab was going to make them, and many other excuses. Not once was I given an update on the status of the glasses except when I went in or called myself. Finally, I was given the option to come in and order an entirely different pair of sunglasses or accept a refund. For my trouble, I was given a check for $88, about 20% of what I paid originally for the visit. I was told that the regular glasses were $250 and the sunglasses only $88. That makes no sense. This place is terrible. They screw up and refuse to admit it. They do not give a crap about customer service. Avoid at all costs.

He is a great person and very honest. His eye exams are extremely thorough and and always helps to steer me to tasteful frame selections that my retirement income can afford. He has helped my wife by referring a practice for cataract surgery and providing post surgery care. I didn't get charged except for the initial contact lens prescription, even though I came in for several follow-up visits and used up a lot of his sample contacts. I had my first experience with Insight Vision in Gardner due to an insurance change. It cost me…read more$728 just to get my contacts for 1 year supply. They tack on unnecessary charges like contact fitting...for the exact same contact I've been using for years. Really? Of course, there is the $65 fee for the retinal scan scam. They guilt you into the retinal scan. I could have bought contacts online for less. I'll not be using Insight Vision ever again. They just look for any BS reason to charge you $$$.

We refuse to take our family here anymore. On top of having to reorder our glasses for 2 of the 3…read moreof use because they were incorrect, and getting notice to pick up continually long after we had our glasses in our possession, they billed us for what our insurance covered a year later and never filed it with our vision insurance. They are disorganized in the least. It cost us a lot more than it should've as we then went somewhere else to get our needs met. We told them we wouldn't be back, and they still call us for our "scheduled appointments," and we have to tell them all over again. When we called to say that was the insurance amount, they told us they have a year to bill us. We paid close to $300 they told us we would owe after the insurance which was inaccurate, and now we are paying what insurance should've covered and they are outside the year to fix it with insurance. Surely they could eat the $66 they are telling us to pay after the amounts they have cost us.
