Now, for the fest right on Main St. The 2nd weekend of October every year. The weather makes all the difference, ... get a nice sunny day and you can take in all the charm of this lively little town and enjoy and stuff your face with your favorite Jersey tasty treat. Pork roll-n-cheese, sausage-n-peppers, sweet local corn, Fried clams/clam rolls, Zeppoles (Jersey's fried dough with powdered sugar, so bad and soooo good) and then every local restaurant sets up shop to show off their signature dishes. Started our family Easter fun at this farm!…read more There's parking right on the premise. Asked for handicap parking but was guided to park with the rest. Either way the walk from the lot to the farm is short. Tickets are purchased at the ticket booth not in advanced. $12 per child is a great deal! Adults are free. If you're going to have the little ones participate in the egg hunt, even if under 2, a ticket much better purchased for them. I recommend doing it for cute photo ops and for a fun developmental experience. Additional fees for add ons such a gem mining. The fun zone was so much fun! Everything listed on their website is exactly what they have. People were considerate all around keeping distance and taking turns. A helpful tip would be to add the weight capacity to activities such as the zip line. The decor all around was so cute for Easter. Having a character cow and Easter bunny was a huge highlight for all the kids as they arrived. Great way to enter the farm! The characters interacted with all socially from the min we arrived till we left. My kid got to do a bunny hop dance with the bunny. There's an Italian food truck located right on the premise. Here you'll find food such as an Italian sausage and peppers, zeppoles and basics like chicken tenders, fries, burgers, hot dogs etc. Food was all good. There are tables on site but due to covid seatings limited. Don't forget the hayride that's include for all. There is a farmers market as located right at the entrance. Snipe's Farm is a 200 year old family owned farm in Bucks County surrounded by 150 year old trees on acres and acres of bucolic pasture. When inside you would never know you're just a stones throw from I95 and Route 1! Here's a few reasons why Snipes is so awesome- -Their shows are reasonably priced with early bird online specials. They use Ticket Leap as they have the lowest fees of any ticket distributor. You can pay cash at the gate for a few more dollars day of show. -They're BYO!! Say what?!! The just ask that you not bring glass. We usually get margarita in a bag and bring cups. Many bring rolling coolers and keep their glass in the coolers and just pour into cups as needed. You may NOT walk around with glass beer bottles. -You can BYO food too! -All shows are general admission. Bring your own lawn chairs, blankets, inflatable furniture, even pop up canopies. They do have two large tents for shade already set up on the lawn area. These seats obviously go first. -Children under 12 are FREE with paid adult! IF they do charge for a child for certain events, it's just $5 -Parking is just $5! They strongly encourage carpooling. -The staff is so chill. Very cool older hippies. All very nice. They don't patrol, but won't tolerate any behavior that makes their events not family-friendly. -They have both food and shopping vendors. -The farm is also home to animals and a dog daycare. You would never know this as the concert area does not smell like you're on a farm. They also offer CSA (Community Supported Agriculture) shares and offer show discounts to those signed up for them. Apparently they have the best free range eggs here. Snipe's also host many class trips throughout the year as well as a farm based summer camp you can pay weekly for. We personally LOVE their annual Grateful Dead music Festival called "In & Out Of The Garden We Go"! We have attended for years now and it's something we look forward to every June with our family to kick off the summer festival season. I've been to many, many festivals in my day and this is a truly a great one! It's so incredibly family-friendly. Our girls love it just as much as we do. There are tons of kids of all ages running around barefoot, dancing, playing with balls, hula hoops, and a bubbles. This year we brought beads for the kids, ours and the friend they made to make bracelets. The staff gave out show tee shirts and candy to all the kiddos! The lineup is all terrific local cover bands acts and the music is non-stop. They have a smaller side stage and larger stage next to it. There's no set breaks or dead time for set up or breakdown. The next band is ready to go immediately when the prior band finishes. Oh, and the sound is fantastic! The lights at night are fun too! They have great local vendors selling all sorts of hippie wares from patches and stickers, hand lured soy candles, tie dyes of course, up-cycled goods too. This year they even had someone doing live paintings and selling goods made from recycled Christmas Trees. The food vendors are delicious and often vegan and vegetarian foods although you can certainly bring your own snacks and meals. This specific festival is all weekend long and you can camp right there! People have views of the stage right from their tent or trailer! Very cool! The music will play from 11am-1am the next night (day) non-stop! You really get your money's worth! This year Saturday started with community yoga!! Tickets can be either Fri night, all day Saturday, or a weekend pass which includes camping. We have never camped yet as our schedule just hasn't allowed it but we stay all day Saturday and it's wonderful This festival gives me a sense of what life would be like on a hippie commune back in the 60's. It's so freeing and there's such a great, warm atmosphere. The people are a great crowd. Everyone just gets it. It's such a nice change from the price gouging and big named venues nowadays. In addition to the art, there are plenty of places to sit along the paths and a restaurant. Inside the Welcome Center, there is a museum, cafe with high quality snacks, and gift shop. Tickets for upcoming weeks are released two weeks in advance, and are for a specific time slot. There is ample free parking. Maps are available by scanning a QR code. This sculpture garden was definitely worth the drive to Hamilton.

Also, if you go during the summer, they run a great promo where tickets are only $5 on Fridays from 5 PM until closing. Even as someone who doesn't know much about art or sculpture, I had an absolute blast walking around the beautifully maintained grounds. There is a good amount to see, and some of the structures are truly massive in size. It's a perfect activity whether you're with loved ones, friends, or just going solo. They also have a restaurant and a cafe right on the grounds if you want to grab a bite. We really enjoyed our visit and will definitely be happy to come back again

We had a few very weird occurrences happen throughout the night, most notably in the attic and basement, both of which gave off insanely heavy vibes. It's right next to Princeton's campus and the Battle of Trenton Memorial. My husband is a big fan of all the Signers of the Declaration, and unlike a more restored house about the people who owned the house, it focuses on the Stockton family who lived here and the American Revolution and a special exhibit. We were actually here for a few hours since there's a lot of signs to read and a lot of Richard Stocktons who lived in the house, followed by some governors. When I went, there was also a really interesting exhibit on Ma Bell and the history of telecommunications upstairs. This was a great historical site, a cheap price, and a nice space. Would love to come back when the garden is in bloom, and I will look out for future exhibitions as they rotate in.

Hamilton Square, NJ - this is a sweet little 30-acre botanical garden and park that's free to…read morevisit, featuring specimens collected by gardening enthusiast Frederick Sayen from his world travels. The garden was created in 1912 when Sayen purchased the land with his wife Anne Mellon (of the Mellon family) and built a home in the Arts and Crafts style. The azaleas and rhododendrons are especially magnificent. We visited during the Azalea Festival over Mother's Day weekend, and the flowers were in full colorful splendor. There are ponds, gazebos, and walking trails around the property. My favorite are the wooded trails at one end of the park, but they aren't marked so you could end up wandering around trying to find the exit. Tip: you can find GPS map tracks in AllTrails and Gaia to stay oriented.
