Shawna Craven at the front desk is miserable and rude. I get times are rough out here but my god some people are just miserable and want to make everyone else feel that way. That's what my experience felt like the minute I walked into that office and checked in. I don't have a physical insurance card and it seemed like it was such a big deal to have to email it to her instead. After being checked in and seen I was consulted about the cyst needing removal. I told the dr it was a cyst but wanted it removed. When I asked Shawna at the front desk if he could remove it today, she got frustrated with me and angrily said "You didn't ask the dr that?!" Honestly, no that was my fault but her reaction and communication towards clients is aggressive and not at all respectful. When trying to set up a follow up appointment and just asking general questions about what the pay would be for that surgery she huffed and stormed off to try and find the info. At that point I just responded "don't worry about it." and walked out. I'm not going to have surgery at an office that treats their patients like a coin slot machine that's inconveniencing them. Sorry I'm curious about my finances and making sure a $75 copay for a consult I already knew was a cyst, wasn't a waste but it was. The office called me after I paid and left trying to apologize for her behavior. I just responded kindly " You took out your own frustrations out on me and I'm not comfortable having surgery here. Please cancel my appointment and I hope your day gets better." I truly felt so disrespected and wouldn't want anyone else to experience what I did and this was just a CONSULT! read more

I don't recommend this practice because they absolutely would not look at more than two issues during our appointment. It is not easy for my 92 year old Dad to get to a Dr's office. They would not deviate from their two issues policy. We literally saw the doctor for less than 5 minutes. The doctor offered that I could make another appointment for about 2 weeks later and she could look at the other two issues we came in for. ( and pay another $45 co-pay) They care more about their rules than about their patients. read more

Had a follow up and was told I could not discuss a past issue because I didn't not clear it with the nurse previous. The doctor attempted to tell me that's how all doctors do it. I clarified that was not the case, and was told it was in her experience. Honestly this is a seriously crappy way to run a doctors office and a money grab if I've ever seen one. However, I actually feel real pity that my dermatologist isn't free to discuss issues with her doctors unless squared away with their nurse first. I've read a few reviews and apparently they have some sort of policy of not discussing more then 2 issues during an appointment. I guess having an appointment that lasts more then 10 minutes isn't done at other offices either. read more

I came to Epiphany Dermatology in Forney to get a cyst removed from my scalp. I had never been to a dermatologist, and I wasn't sure to expect, but it was a great experience! From the receptionist to the medical staff, everyone treated me with kindness and understanding. They were gentle, professional, and took time to address all my questions and concerns. Great Dr- only think I give them 2 stars is because - good luck if you try to call them. I was on hold for about 30min - when it sounded that someone answered the phone , they hung up on me. Tried 2 more times and the same happened. If you pick the general mailbox is the same- it always say is full. read more

I highly recommend Epiphany Dermatology and Dr. Kelly Warren. Shawna in the front office is very friendly and helpful booking my appointments and during our appointment. I have taken my daughter to Epiphany on a few different occasions and been very pleased every time. Dr. Warren is friendly and does well with her and most of all he is very thorough. read more

Our family, all 5, have been going to see Ash for years now. He is extremely understanding, patient, and listens to all concerns. He really wants to help and figure out a way to fix the problem you came to the office for. The staff and nurses are always easy to carry a conversation with and very helpful. I have never had any issues with returned phone calls when I left messages either. I would HIGHLY recommend Epiphany Dermatology and have to many friends. read more
