I was able to visit the Crystal Lagoon the last weekend that it was $10 for non residents. Now it is $20 Friday through Sunday, and Monday through Thursday $10, and starting May 25th every day that you go and are a non resident is $20. This does not include the water slide, obstacle course, and the kayaks. Those are additional. When I went there was quite a bit of seating. You can bring your umbrella, and if you want shade, you better bring your umbrella. If you want a cabana, you better expect to pay a pretty penny and if you do that penny will only be an hour. It's not worth it. What will be cool later will be the swim up bar and the adult pool, but it was not open when i went. It is very pretty but the actual swimming area was not very big. It was more of a wading area and there was more space for the kayaks. It's nice to have an option, but for $20, i don't think it's worth it. For $10, I say it is. It would be very cool if they had festivals here, and July 4th and holiday fireworks. That would be so much fun. I would go for that. There is food but it was minimal. Two vendors with cuban sandwiches and hot dogs, and a stand for alcohol until the bar was complete. The bar is really cool and also it it where you can sit inside or sit on the side of the bar in the water. That will be a cool spot! Epperson lagoon is very pretty. It does look paradise like. It's super convenient for me and you can really feel like you are on a getaway, but price wise I'm still leaving towards my number 1 Clearwater Beach, but nothing can compare and they are still apples to oranges! read more

So, let's be honest about what it is. It's a public swimming pool. ‍ Purchased my ticket online and visited the lagoon on a weekday. Every person on staff was super nice to my friend and me. Very helpful and they tried their best to keep the love bugs out of the water. We rented an umbrella for $15 plus tax, and it was totally worth it. The weather was perfect, but I did not want to get burnt. You can tell they are still under construction, but the view was still lovely. There really wasn't much room to swim, and the deepest the water got was maybe four feet. They have sections roped off for the kayaks/paddleboarding. I think those rentals and the slide were an additional $15. We opted out because there wasn't much room to paddle, but it was fun watching others try it out. Noodles are permitted. I can only imagine how packed this place can get on the weekend. Outside food and drinks were not permitted, but they had a bar and a food truck type trailer on site. They'll check your bags as you enter the gate. My friend and I got a mimosa for $5 and split a "Tampa Cuban" for $9. When it was time to pay, the guy said it was really $12. Extra taxes and self-inflicted tip? The sandwich was a little fatty, so I would recommend that you pack a cooler, get some Publix subs and chips and eat them in the AC of your car when you get hungry. Would I come back again? Heck yeah, at the $10 entry cost. However, according to the website, they plan on increasing the prices next month. It was nice not having to drive all the way to the coast and not deal with red tide, but not worth it when they increase the price to $20 next week. read more

Reserved 10 chairs on the water very early in the week got to our location they had four chairs on the water and six other spread out through the whole pool area tell me how you can enjoy visiting with family with such a mess? Epperson lagoon is a very cool idea, they just need to work out some kinks. The overall grounds are absolutely stunning and the water is crystal clear. Plenty of activities to do as well. They had a very nice bar and not too many food places to choose from. That bothered me a bit because they don't allow outside food but don't have many options to eat. It's practically impossible to get someone on the phone and if you have any questions that need to be answered it's a bit stressful. What an amazing Lagoon! It was the perfect day with my best friend and our 2 children. We rented chairs in the VIP section, which was an extra $16.00 dollars each and honestly it was SO worth it! They had a full bar in the VIP section, and actual swimming pool and reserved areas for chairs (with umbrellas), cabanas, etc. There was a beachy area a little ways outside of the VIP section and it was perfect for the kids to run around and play in the water/sand without us thinking they are going to drown (wiping sweat off of my face as I type). There is a food truck near the VIP section that had hot dogs, nachos, chicken, fries, and a hamburger. You can only bring in water bottles to the Lagoon- but they did allow us to bring in food for the little ones since they need special food (gluten-free/dairy-free). They didn't ask any questions and there was no hesitations! The park was under construction which was fine- it looks like they may be building an actual house entrance which will be really nice! I would like to see them add additional food options too. If I'm in town again I'll definitely be back! read more

Really cool place! We rented the private tiki for a birthday party for my daughter, which allowed us to bring our own food and drinks for 20 people. The staff was very friendly and accommodating and our party area was clean and set up when we arrived. The kids loved the slide and the obstacle course. Fun, Fun! be prepared to spend a bit, tickets to enter, food to buy, kayaks to rent, etc. But its a fun time! First come first serve beach chairs and lots of armed security all around. Good for a family outing, great for the little ones. There is also a covered stage area for live music and shows, Get here early and set up in good spot and it will be all good! For my first time going at first i had fun they had good food, & wonderful things to do. But one thing that kinda made me upset was for this being a family friendly place it sure didn't feel like it some lifeguards were very rude & the older people who were attending were cursing at us kids for a mistake of saving a spot in line & cutting to where our family was. one lady started to get physical with my little sister by pushing her with her with her elbow instead of saying excuse me & nothing was done about it. The ticketing process, the crawl that is the entrance line, the inhospitable front desk staff (with guns!), nope won't miss those at all. .....It's a public pool in the middle of nowhere and it's more secure than a bank,and about as inviting as one too. Clearwater Beach, St. Pete's, even Courtney Campbell causeway are more inviting and offer easier access, better food options and/or so much more. If you like chlorine, live in vicinity of the "lagoon" and have no other alternative, then it is a great deal. read more

I feel it is a little bit pricey for what you get and then you have to pay extra for every single activity you do which is the reason why I gave it three stars instead of five. The lagoon is great for kids, lots to do and shallow water. I would highly suggest eating before you enter or leaving to eat somewhere else. They do allow re-entry. Lines for food were long even on a Monday and there wasn't much to choose from. They will check your bags upon entry and you cannot bring in any beverages, water or food. I'm giving them three stars for this. The fact that you can't even bring in water is ridiculous. Bathrooms are ok but could have been looked after better. I wish they had changing rooms since the bathroom were all filled with water and sand. The check in area needs to be improved as well. Be prepared to wait since they only have two windows in a trailer. read more

Water park is amazing besides the Resident(s) or shall i say "ONE ANGRY WANNA BE PRIVILEGED LADY AND HER FRIEND" who has caused many many problems to EVERYONE! At the park.. and not one time but many many times!! Very Disappointed in the residents and only bc they hate that the fact it's open to the public.. but not for long! Security had some under control but they were absolutely terrible and caused the sheriff to even have to be involved.. other than the crazy disrespectful-rude residence this is a VERY!!! It's really just a bar in the middle of a pool. Expect to hear someone blasting their boombox (with non-american noise) while you're trying to listen to the band on stage. Even after the staff was notified, they ignored the request to take care of the issue. Be aware if your driving out of your way to come here. If lighting is within 5 miles they make everyone leave the facility. I understand getting out of the water, but we figured sit by the big bar until the clouds pass....nope. They say it's not a permanent structure so you have to go to your car??? They told everyone to pay their tabs and get out! Ridiculous . Won't be back because of that rule. Didn't even get to enjoy and drove from Orlando.
