My youngest who's also in the dance competition team has grown so much, not just as a dancer but the studio has taught her discipline, teamwork and self-confidence. The teachers are amazing and you can tell they love teaching their passion in dancing. Miss. Sabrina, the Jazz teacher is the best, she's always encouraging, supporting and very patient with new dance moves. She pushes her dance team to their fullest potential. We also love Miss. Tajah, Hip Hop teacher, she has the dance energy the dancers feed off of. Everyone in her class always have so much fun. My son is autistic, and like any parent, I'm doing everything I can to help him feel included and comfortable in the world. Before starting, I made the staff aware of his needs. Instead of patience or understanding, what we experienced was the complete opposite. The instructors displayed unprofessional and hurtful behavior--making uncomfortable looks, using hand gestures to signal him to go away, and essentially excluding him rather than supporting him. No child should ever be made to feel like they don't belong--especially in a place that's supposed to encourage growth and confidence. Watching this happen to my son was devastating. I understand that not every instructor is trained to work with children who have different needs--but that is exactly why proper training and awareness are so important. If you're going to work with young children, compassion, patience, and inclusivity should be the baseline. I share this so other parents are aware. Every child deserves kindness, respect, and a chance to participate without judgment. I hope this business takes this seriously and invests in educating their staff so no other child or parent has to go through this.

Over the past year, I've expanded into new dance styles and started focusing on the finer details--like arm styling and hip movement, not just footwork. I've joined the dance team, performed in group showcases, and taken part in coaching lessons with incredible visiting instructors who've given me professional feedback to grow from. When my first instructor, Valerie, moved and transferred to another Arthur Murray studio, I wasn't sure what to expect--but I was left in great hands. Angela, my new main instructor, has been amazing at challenging me and helping me push my limits. I've also taken lessons with Alexia and Nathan, and all three have supported my growth with their unique styles and encouragement. One big milestone this year has been dancing in front of others through demos. It's helped me shake off nerves, have fun with mistakes, and just keep dancing. My confidence has grown immensely--I now step onto the dance floor excited, not anxious. I've even started receiving compliments on my leading and technique, which feels incredibly rewarding. If you're thinking about trying dance, I can't recommend Arthur Murray enough. But here's the key: don't just take a lesson or two--immerse yourself in the full experience. Each day of the week challenges you in different ways and Thursdays are for toning! I haven't reached the level where I feel comfortable with the extra toning weights, but as I become more comfortable with the routines I find I'm able to jump and step high, squat lower and add those extra steps to make the dances more challenging. One of the great parts of these classes is that it's a judgment free zone where everyone is ready to have fun and get their sweat on. I have definitely missed a few steps and never feel out of place or discouraged, just pick back up on the next beat and keep going! Elvia also has Herbalife at her location and mixes up a great pre-workout drink as well as some post-workout drinks. Everything I've had has been $6 and they're really filling. A great post work-out meal replacement when you don't want to deal with dinner after class. She offers 9:00am and 6:30pm options and your first class is free! We decided to check out this dance studio since we saw they were teaching a Kpop class. Luckily…read morethey were teaching 2.0 by BTS and we were excited. This was our first time at the studio. There's plenty of parking, and the studio is on the smaller side, but nice (there's two dance rooms--one larger one and one smaller one). Since the Kpop class was so popular, there were a lot of people, but we were in the smaller room, since it sounded like there was another group training for some sort of performance. Once they left, we switched over to the larger room. Isabel teaches the Kpop classes and she was so friendly and encouraging. She was patient and great at breaking down the dance moves, while moving the class at an appropriate pace. It is a 1.5 hour class, so we finished all the moves with 15 minutes to break into dance groups (not exactly my favorite part, because my brain can't usually learn all the moves in the same class). Of note, they do record the group dances, but you can probably sit out if you want (I just stick around because of peer pressure and low key want to remember how I looked from when I started until mastering the dance). It's also nice that she will be kinda doing the dance on the side to guide you. There's no level listed on the class, so I'm assuming it's all levels. Based on being at other dance studios, I think 2.0 was more of an intermediate level class, but it was very doable! Overall, I really enjoyed my class with Isabel!

I've been to other dance classes where the instructor wasn't as intentional and had more of a serious and closed off, "get all the moves right" energy, which can be off putting when you're just joining a casual dance class, so this was refreshing! The class was Heels & Grooves and I would say it's beginner friendly! We started with stretching, then practicing walking, then learned the choreo. It was a fun class! Lots of parking available in the plaza. The space was open, bright, and clean. My GPS told me to go to the left when really they were located on the other side. It seems like they have a diverse range of class offerings. I'll def be coming back!

What sold me on this studio was when I watched Hazel, the owner reminded the children to be respectful of their Team Leaders at Summer dance camp. Ms. Hazel's demeanor is kind, gentle yet firm. You can tell she truly cares about her students and also teaches them good character. The older dancers were also good role models and well mannered. I wanted my girls to be at a place where they can learn to dance in a positive environment and grow with as a family. I can say we've found it here at En Pointe. I also wanted to share my experience with my 3yrs old. For the first 3 or 4 classes, she would cry and would not stay or participate in class without me there. I was thinking about withdrawing her and Hazel understood. She didn't make me feel bad or tried to talk me out of it. Then that next class, my daughter didn't cry and I didn't need to be there. Apparently she found it comforting to dance side by side with Ms. Tiffany. Eventually, Ms. Tiffany would get her back in line with the other dancers but it worked. From then on she went to class and participated and they are practicing for the winter recital now. I love how the instructors connect with each child to build a trusting relationship. Now my daughter gets excited and goes to class even before I tell her to. In summary, I'm giving 5 stars because: 1. Great location 2. Kind, organized Owner always has a smile on her face and very prompt with any emails or texts. 3. Professional and Patient instructors 4. Well mannered older dancers which are good role models for my young children 5. Relax atmosphere for parents and non dancing children in the waiting room 6. Gorgeous studio. We were blessed to find Pacific Ballet and Suzanne welcomed us with open arms! Suzanne has such passion for dance and knows her stuff. She's trained many dancers who have gone on to professional careers and that's mostly what attracted us to this studio. What I love most about Suzanne is while she is very serious about ballet, she has a heart of gold and the best sense of humor! She makes dance fun for my daughter yet at the same time she knows when to tell my daughter to "suck it up" and keep her head held high. Suzanne has wiped tears from my daughter's face when she gets frustrated, she has wildly clapped and hugged my daughter when she perfects her technique...she has been nothing but encouraging, support and loving. If you have a dancer who is serious and passionate about dance technique, this is the place to be.
