The providers administering and assisting with my treatments were competent and always concerned about my comfort during the treatments. I also appreciate the COVID-19 precautions and other infection control measures that were consistently enforced inside of the office and during treatments. I highly recommend this center and their staff. I heard about PRP and was a bit skeptic about it. I finally agreed to try it. Let me tell you it is the best treatment. The ortho Dr said I would have to keep my arm next to my body for 6 weeks. I didn't have time for that because of work. I finally went in to see Dr Bethea. She did my PRP on my right shoulder and right knee (due to a fall) in 2016. I was pain free until I fell and tore my rotator cuff yet again. Again the Ortho Dr wanted to do surgery. I went back for PRP in June 2020. My right shoulder is pain free again. I started experiencing weakness in my right hand and being a Phlebotomist my hands are my living. I decided to try PRP in my hand. I now have full use back in that area also. The new tissue growth has been amazing. I would highly recommend doing the PRP treatment.

After that initial visit, however, everything went downhill. The guy that does the urinalysis is rude, but not nearly as rude as one of the women (nurse?) that reviews your paperwork. To begin with, you must fill out a 28-page questionnaire for your first visit, then a 22-page follow-up questionnaire on each subsequent monthly visit. This is basically a pill-pushing clinic, where they treat you like a junkie and make you jump through ridiculous hoops every month in order to get your opioids. I never saw the doctor beyond the first visit, only NAs or PAs who were judgmental and accusatory. The doctor ordered a back brace for me, and told me to make sure that I received it on my next visit. I asked for it repeatedly, but never received it. My first visit was also only four days after surgery, and naturally the surgeon prescribed pain medication for me, but since he wasn't my PCP, I was accused of "Docor Shopping". Bottom line, this place really sucks!
