One of the cleanest nicest equinox locations in la so far. As a destination member I've been in studio city and Pasadena . But this one is really beautiful . Parking also was easy , downstairs in the garage

Worst customer Service
Mario V.

Worst Customer Service They Literally Won't Let You Cancel! If I could give zero stars, I would. Equinox Miracle Mile has the absolute worst customer service when it comes to canceling a membership. I came in person with a doctor's letter stating that I needed to cancel immediately due to an Achilles torn injury a legitimate medical reason. But guess what? They're always "busy" or "in a meeting" (aka dodging members who need to cancel). They keep telling me, "We'll send you an email" (which never actually resolves anything) and won't let me cancel on the spot. I even told them I'm fine paying my balance IF they just cancel my membership, but nope, it's just endless runaround. At this point, it feels like a total scam. They make it as difficult as possible to cancel, even when you have a medical emergency. Stay far away from this place unless you want to be locked into a membership with zero customer support.

I've been wanting to leave a review on this gym for a while now, today I've actually had it. I don't know if this location is just poorly managed or if all equinox gyms are like this but this is not worth the ridiculous rates that they're charging. First of all the gym floor is 50% treadmills, limited strength training machines. There's one leg extension machine that's usually occupied by soccer moms chatting & trading off for 30 minutes at a time. The showers are covered in mold & are disgusting. The toilet seat covers are never stocked, often soap in the showers are also neglected, then it's a toss up if you're going to get a squealing shower, room temp water, or low water pressure. I signed up for like 2 massages here, there is no organization for the spa services. The front desk will just tell you to "just go back there" with no instruction, and the last massage I had they were testing the fire alarms the ENTIRE TIME. Why are you booking spa services when there alarms constantly going off?? The gym crowd here is snooty & inconsiderate. The vibes are horrendous and the personal trainers that stop you in the locker room to stare your body up and down while you're naked is really icing on the cake.

The ceiling of the gym. Why is it open like this? Is that even safe?

When do you expect kids club to open?

Hi Paul, we would be happy to put you in touch with a membership advisor who can tell you more about our club amenities as well as go over info about the kids club. If you’d like us to reach out on your behalf, please email concierge@equinox.com,…

Was there or will there be a time that Equinox opened earlier than 7am on the weekends?

We hope to expand the hours as much as possible. Please continue to check our website for periodic updates.

Is the kids club open yet?

It is closed at the moment but we hope to open it soon!

Do you guys have a hip thrust and hack squat machine?

Hi Charlotte. Yes, we do!

Where's the parking lot entrance?

I was there at 445am....garage gates were closed. Frustrating. How do you get in this parking if you workout at 5am? I abandoned and went to Golds Gym.

Does this location reopen on June 17th? If not when does it reopen?

June 17th is the reopening date.

How much the membership cost?

That club is beautiful. I love it. I think membership is about $210. It's clean and super friendly crowd.

Do you have a pool?

No they do not. Golds gym DTLA does.

How much parking is there? I'm concerned because people said on weekend AM they run out of parking spaces. How busy is it on weekend AM?

Free 2hr parking with validation. They will validate your ticket when you check-in, just show it to them. I would say it gets crowded after 10-11am on weekends until about 2pm. I've always gone before or after those times and it's totally fine.

Only open til 10?

Monday - Thursday they close at 10p. Friday they close at 9p. Sat and Sunday they close at 7p.

Anyone know yet if this place will have free parking or paid?

I️ was told the parking would be free.

When is the grand opening?!!

November 7th at 2:00

When does this location finally open?

I've prepaid my membership. It is November 7th at 2 PM.

It is in two office buildings, with a premium on floor spaces, so no pool is understandable. Although I have been to Washington DC, where another LA Fitness is in an office building. That one has a pool and jacuzzi, so it is what it is. Be grateful to have a LA Fitness in the mid Wilshire district. In my home area, Puente Hill North the only club we have left is Diamond Bar, and that club is not pretty. Back to the Wilshire club it has everything else beside the pool and jacuzzi. I think that it does not have a steam room as well. However, it is ok. I simply go to this club to hang out while I wait for LACMA open, so no complaint on my part. Ray out.

I'm guessing 4 or 5 guys got quite a shock. This is the 17th time this has happened when I've been there around lunchtime. Also, the AC is broken again. It's usually broken and not running from June through October, but this time it broke in February. It did work sporadically for a day or two - like a few days ago - but it's broken again. Bigger issue remains that La Fitness lets women walk in and out of the men's lockeroom. Big problem.

Working out at Easton feels like being part of a long tradition in Los Angeles. Even though the equipment isn't as new or exciting as other places and "it doesn't have air conditioning!" as everyone LOVES to say, nothing beats working out within Easton's beautiful brick walls, amongst vintage windows that catch a refreshing cross-breeze and dumbbells that look like they were carried by strong men in the 1940's. I have been…read morea loyal member for several years, and this place has always been convenient and one of my favorites. However, I recently encountered a shocking situation. After a long break, I decided to come back and invited my friends to join me. One of them had an active membership, while the other did not. The friend who had a membership agreed to work out with us and guide us, even though she is not a professional trainer, just our friend. When I brought my other friend who was interested in becoming a member and joining me regularly, she was not allowed to enter because she had not registered online, and there was no one available on-site to assist her. This was despite the fact that she had a guest pass from me. We tried to resolve the situation on the spot, but instead of showing understanding, the receptionist -- a young Spanish-speaking woman of average height with long black hair, who appeared to be new and unfamiliar with me -- behaved very rudely. She refused to help, delayed us with the registration process, and made everything unnecessarily complicated instead of assisting my friend in becoming a member. This resulted in a very unpleasant experience for us. Moreover, the following day, I was denied access to my regular Zumba class with a different instructor, despite being a long-time member. The reason given was that the previous day we had worked out with our friend who was guiding us. I was extremely upset, and the situation escalated to the point where the police were called to make me leave the gym. This humiliating experience put me in a very uncomfortable and embarrassing position. I am deeply disappointed. If anything like this happens again, I am prepared to pursue legal action, as this situation is unacceptable and has left a very negative impression on me. If I do not receive a formal apology, they will lose three loyal clients, as well as future potential clients I was planning to bring with me.

When I finally decided to cancel my membership, I was directed to an online cancellation process and informed that a 30-day notice applied, resulting in additional charges before the cancellation became effective. I don't mind paying for a quality gym. What I do mind is paying for an experience where recurring administrative problems are never fixed. The workouts were good; the customer service wasn't. What I did NOT know I was signing up for... was RINGWORM. Honestly, I was shocked. I was in there looking cute too. Fresh matching ALO set. Expensive water bottle. At first I was like... wait... did I protest this weekend? Did a cop shoot me with one of those non-lethal rubber bullets and I forgot? So naturally, I Google Image searched it like a real doctor. BOOM. Ringworm. Not exactly what Beyoncé meant when she said "put a ring on it." Now look, I'm not blaming Planet Fitness for this. This was clearly caused by the puddle of human soup left on the leg machine by that hot guy wearing a My Chemical Romance T-shirt, denim shorts, and Converse. No wonder he was sweating so much. Brother was dressed like he had a double shift at Hot Topic after this. So I go to the front desk and ask the employee what I should do about the ringworm and without even blinking he reaches behind the counter and pulls out a communal tube of Lotrimin antifungal cream like it was hand sanitizer. Not a NEW tube either. A battle-tested tube. The kind of tube that's seen things. And then he goes, "Here you go, man." Which means one of two things: They're incredibly helpful. This happens A LOT. We were being treated by a friend as a wedding gift so we had a specific budget to work within, and I had absolutely no idea which treatments to choose or what would make the most sense for us. Before our visit, I called and spoke with Carla, who was incredibly patient and helpful. She walked me through all of the services they offer, answered every question I had, and gave us amazing recommendations without making me feel rushed or pressured. When we arrived, Samantha checked us in and happened to overhear my husband mention to me that he's always wanted to try red light therapy. She immediately offered us both a complimentary 10-minute session. It was such a thoughtful and unexpected gesture, and only the beginning of how special everyone made our day feel!! It was romantic, luxurious, and so so thoughtful. Just the perfect way to relax together and *soak* in this new chapter of our lives. Every single person we interacted with made us feel genuinely welcomed and cared for.
