These days, I probably can't even buy a doghouse on layaway. I made my payment on time every month and have complete bank records and even acknowledgement emails from SLS to prove it. Yet SLS keeps insisting otherwise and won't back down. They don't believe the truth even when it's right there in black and white! They will have you use their mortgage broker, Brianna Collette, who offers you outrageously higher rates and then wants thousands to pay the rate down. When I told Kristin Conner and Brianna that I was going with another lender, they both had their canned response ready - "They have hidden fees"! No, they don't. You, Brianna, have hidden fees. Also, Brianna had the insurance agents they work with call you repeatedly to switch to their insurance carriers who are unknowns. I actually had to tell them to stop calling me one day so I could get some work done. They are unethical, unprofessional, have absolutely no standards and will say and do anything to cover up their corrupt business practices. Ms. Lynsay Hose, agent in this putrid office of Keller Williams, played a bait and switch between two buyers. After accepting my offer (with consideration-completing all three elements of contract formation) and telling my agent she was emailing the contract which included a notation of the seller fixing an item, she shopped for a better offer, then told me that she received a very strong offer and it was accepted--apparently within one hour of her telling me she was emailing the contract. This bait and switch is unethical; however, a dash for cash was clearly in play with listing agent Steve Nickerson and his sidekick Lynsay Hose. My full list cash offer was illegally and unethically tossed...and Ms. Hose's statement of an alleged better offer in the end was a mortgage which was the same as my cash offer. Hosed by Hose! Common sense would usually prioritize cash over a mortgage (concept of present value of money). Of course, intellect does not come into play with this office or the agents noted here. In addition, people either have ethics or they don't and choose to conduct business in good or bad faith (as was the case here). Nickerson and Hose are lacking in ethics and contract law. I have been told by a Keller Williams regional director that the office where Steve Nickerson and Lynsay Hose are based is being "disenfranchised" as of December 31, 2022. Great news, though they'll just set up their devious dealings in another office!! Definitely makes one wonder just how many complaints were submitted that resulted in such an action. This happens often with clients who freeze their credit. Credit bureaus expect this and expect you to shop for a mortgage so having a mortgage company pull your credit within a 30 day window should not have negatively impacted you." If you are looking at applying for a mortgage through Samantha, please beware that her behavior can really impact your future.

It charged my mortgage account $85 with out heads-up, and finally after dozens of phone calls asking for refunds of the $85 charge, I received a letter saying the $85 is for escrow spread charge, BUT the mortgage account has NEVER has escrow account to begin with. No people would help to refund the escrow spread charge $85 when the mortgage account has NEVER had an escrow account. It has been frustrating experience with all the phone calls, nobody in GMFS bother to resolve the issue.
