I just wanna warn others to just figure in that this place will literally fraudulently steal your security deposit no matter how perfect you leave the place. We have video, pictures and witnesses of how well we left the condo. We live pretty clean, but we spent 3 weeks cleaning after we had moved out. We wanted to make sure we cleaned every square inch. We did the carpet cleaning through T-Bird like ERA wanted us to. They said not to even walk on the carpet once after it was cleaned, so we didn't. Somehow they managed to incur costs fromT-Bird to come back, which they in turn charged us again for. The carpet was in perfect condition when we left. Screams scam to me! Then they had about 7 or 8 "made up" situations that weren't even the case, and charged us for those as well, such as a ruined baseboard that I KNOW wasn't damaged. its hard to actually witness fraud when you know exactly who it is. The fact that they won't even walk the house with you when you turn it over is obviously cuz they have some lies to make up. You've been warned. All the bad reviews on here are also true, like don't get me started. We rented for 2 yrs. We called on many things to be fixed, but didn't hear from them once unless it involved water. read more

I am leaving this review as a cautionary to future renters, do not use this company. I'm not even going to leave them a star If this site will let me. I rented this property in 2022. I wanted to move to a smaller community and my grandson was going to college up here anyway so it worked out for both of us. From the very beginning this company they were rude and condescending however we needed a place to rent and it suited our needs, most rental companies up here charge your deposit one months rent. They charged me three times the rent. I paid $4500 deposit, I understand that the contract says that I only get 80% back. At the time we needed to move and I thought it would be OK . As a renter, they do nothing for you. You can put in a service ticket. Nobody will answer it and then it disappears from their site. I moved out over 30 days ago, I had the carpets professionally cleaned, and I hired a professional cleaner to come and clean after reading the other reviews about how they overcharge for cleaning and carpets, so I decided to be proactive. $900 of my deposit was nonrefundable. It was in the lease however when I finally got my deposit back after 30 days they made you wait, they still took an additional $65. Told me it was for trimming the back tree, I understand I was responsible for the backyard, but that was like for pulling weeds. Never have I ever heard a tenant having to trim a tree, which was the same, as when I moved in. And as far as the front yard that is the HOA responsibility not the tenants and this HOA only comes and does yardwork once a year. I even asked him to cut the bush back way back because it overgrows. When they finally did send my deposit back they just sent it regular mail no tracking number with USPS , no UPS no FedEx. I truly feel that I was discriminated, Cause I was an outsider coming into Cedar city, and because I had a college student living with his grandmother. I truly feel unwelcome in this city now because of this company. Please do your research before you move here, but do not use this property management company. And I go as far as to say if you want to buy or sell your home home do not use ERA Realty it this is a reflection of how their company operates and treats their customers Potential clients. The staff is rude, disrespectful, unprofessional, and uncooperative I have been a renter here for a little over 6 months, I went to the property location and was met by a middle aged women telling me I needed to go home and send in an email, then and only then would I be helped. We were given no prior communication on the matter and landed in the lap of ERA much to our dismay. Since that time they have been nothing but condescending and demanding. This has got to be the worst management company that exists. My wife and i helped our daughter find a house with ERA, and she had nothing but problems, AC didnt work when they moved in, heater didnt work when winter came, sewer backed up three times due to a problem in the line. Worst thing is taw sewage flooded the basement and ERA did not replace the pading or pull up the carpet. Im sure there is all kinds of things growing in those bedrooms now. ERA Property Management has been by far the worse rental company I have ever used. Do not plan on getting your security deposit back. They constantly try to get more and more money out of their customers for no reason. First lets start when I moved in, they had left the back door unlocked and stray cat got into the house. The day I opened the door their was cat feces through out the house. When I moved out of my house, They charged me $45 for hard water stains in the toilet. I would understand that fee, if i wasn't putting water softener salt in, however the house was on city water. I had the house professionally cleaned by their recommended service company, and they still charged an extra $70 for cleaning the baseboards, that were cleaner when i moved out than when I moved in. They then charged $55 dollars to replace a set of blinds that had a broken slat that was even broken in the pictures from the company before move in. After moving to cedar city, I heard nothing but bad things from other residents about this reality company and now I fully understand. I would not recommend this company to anyone. read more

So thankful for this company! When I first came to this house in Cedar City, the house had a lot of things wrong with it (Pests, holes, lack of cleanliness from previous owner, bad plumbing) There was a lot of things that got missed on the walk-through, so I made a long list of things to fix. Fortunately for my husband and I, they were very responsive to our requests and had just about all of the requests done in two weeks. I feel much more comfortable living here because I feel well taken care of. The only thing I wish they had done was give me more of a heads-up on how the property was in a bad condition before I got there. But they made up for the first impression very quickly! :) read more

I had an incredible experience working with ERA! I moved here from California 9 months ago to start a job teaching at the university and was so impressed by their ongoing, timely responsiveness, and attention to my needs. They were willing to give me a virtual tour of homes since I was looking while still in California, and when it was time for me to move out, they were incredibly gracious in being flexible with my lease due to the pandemic. I gave them more than 3 months notice before my lease was up, explaining that I needed to move out before my lease was up and would like to put my place on the market again to see if someone could take over the lease earlier than expected. I agreed to pay for the rent through the end of my lease regardless, but was so grateful that they were willing to list my apartment early. Within a month the apartment was rented and I was able to exit my lease early with no problems. There are plenty of landlords who would have been unwilling to work with me on this, but ERA really came through. They are so professional and have great communication. I would have rated this place negative if it were possible. Not only is the staff incredibly rude and misleading, but they are borderline hostel. They made any issue I had seem like it was somehow my fault. They accused me multiple times of purposefully damaging things so they would have to fix them, and literally called me a lier at one point. I had an electrical issue in my laundry room where I was getting SHOCKED BY TOUCHING MY LIGHT SWITCH. I HAVE A TWO YEAR OLD DAUGHTER!! To me that seems a little important, And they wouldn't even send out the maintenance worker until the next monday because they didn't want to pay him after hours and weekend pay!!! This place is the the worst rental company of have ever seen. In the end I lost everything i owned because they changed the locks on my apartment without a court order. I'll never be able to replace my daughters baby book and countless other personal Momentos and belongings. I wouldn't wish this place on my worst enemy. read more
