The whole nurse team treated me incredibly kind throughout my stay, especially when I told them I was nervous about some testing they were about to do. They kept me calm and treated me with the utmost care. Every person that I interacted with did honestly - the anesthesiologist, surgeon team, front desk, cafeteria workers (who went above and beyond to get me something to eat when the ordering system was down!) and even the person transporting me to the pre-op room! They were also incredibly knowledgeable and cared about me personally. I was in a room in the new tower apparently, which was very spacious and comfortable. There was a couch that converted into a makeshift bed for a visitor as well. I believe visiting hours are 9am-9pm. Coming back in for a post-op appointment was great as well. The front desk was helpful and pointed me in the right direction, and the medical assistant and doctor were professional and friendly. I would absolutely recommend UF Health North to anyone! Great experience.

This ER is hands down one of the best places to go if you ever need emergency care. I'm not saying that doesn't happen, but I am saying that not everyone who comes in for treatment is seeking drugs. What I appreciate most about the team here is that they always treat me with kindness, respect, and compassion--no matter how many times I've had to come in for care.

I've never been and I have a weird spot on my hand ,did not ask for her opinion ,did not ask her to examine it, she glanced over.and Said it looks like a wart, but we'll take care of that. Never once did they say oh for asking for that referral we're gonna charge you $250 but they did I have disputed it. I have sent messages , I have tried everything. This company is a business they do not care about your care they do not care about anything but getting money extracted from you. I do not recommend this office. The office manager Stephanie has not returned my calls and does not care about my concerns. I basically have been told that I was charged $250 for the referral which to me is fraud. No one ever said to me because I asked for a referral that I would be charged for that request yet here we are and they're charging me and threatening to send me to collections because I will not pay for that. I do not feel I should pay for something like a referral. I've been a patient on and off for 30 years at Baptist primary care offices and I have never been treated like this ever before ! I do not recommend!!! run run quickly because you will be overcharged. They will find a way and if you have an appointment, please be sure not to ask a question cause they will charge you for that as well.

I have been here on multiple occasions with multiple procedures and things have gone well. It is not the location of my primary care physician. But it does serve my needs more in the area of specialty treatment (such as dermatology and audiology, for instance). On this day, I had some minor treatment for a dermatological issue. I'm thankful for the superb care I received, but with the VA, oftentimes care in this area takes well over three months to receive. There are a ton of retired Veterans in northeast FL and southeast GA. It's surprising that there is no VA hospital here in the JAX area. Gainesville is a pretty serious drive to receive treatment for emergent care. Hopefully one day this VA Clinic could be closed down and replaced by a new VA hospital in JAX. This leads into the problems with this VA Clinic site. First, it's too small now to serve so many who come for treatment. Waits on occasion can be very long. It's not unusual to have the need for assignment to Community Care due to long waits for specialty treatment. Speaking of small, the parking lot often sees vehicles orbiting in multiple circles in attempts to find a parking spot. Understand, I'm very PRO VA! I'm grateful for what they have provided and how they support those of us who have served. The other two clinics in the JAX area don't have these issues as much. But the care they provide is more limited. Well, not all things are perfect all the time. It's more important to be content than happy because there will always be challenges with medical care whether in the military or civilian treatment centers. Let's just be grateful that they are there for us!

Someone parked a wheelchair patient in the waiting area access passage, see picture. I checked in at 1119 with what might be stroke symptoms. Headache, nausea, left side numbness. While I was sitting in the waiting area someone from the clinic came out to the desk to retrieve intake papers. I was able to hear him express his displeasure with the fact they had to deal with any of them. His opinion was that the individual teams should be dealing with our issues. It seems he feels that a "Walk-In" clinic should be a portion of the scheduling system. Which in fact would be the opposite of a "Walk-In" clinic. -Loss of two stars I expressed my sentiments that employees should do their complaining behind the seems to the receptionist who referred me to the patient advocate.
