This was without a doubt, the best ER experience I've ever had. The nurses and PA on staff were amazing. I was vomiting profusely and it had been happening all day. They were extremely sympathetic. I was dehydrated and could barely catch my breath or stand. This place was so very attentive. I was so thankful. Three hours later I was comfortable driving myself home. I cannot thank these guys enough. This was this past Saturday night/Sunday morning. I will have no qualms about going here again if need be. read more

My bf woke about 5 am on 11/4/22 with trouble breathing. He didn't wake me until 615 am. He was having trouble breathing and panicking. I called 911 to ask for an ambulance. The paramedics came and they did their job well. He was admitted to the ER and the staff was all very friendly and easy to talk to. They treated him and gave him medication . Mr Paris the nurse manager was very nice and helpful and very informative. People like him are very important to have in the medical field. Thank you to everyone who helped us during this time. was very bad, came in unable to speak by the time I was able to speak I was discharged less than 5 minutes after, didn't try to see what was wrong just asked if I mixed my weed or if my weed was lace. I was in a car accident, I saw 2 doctors and both told me you can't get a concussion unless you hit your head WHICH IS WRONG!!!! I went to see my primary care doc 3 days later and he was worried because I actually do have a concussion. Those 2 docs were WRONG and treated me like I was so silly for being concerned that I had one. I went there when I got covid and all they did was set me up with IV's while I complained about my heart rate quickly fluctuating (from 78 to 165). They don't care about what's actually wrong they just make sure you won't die on their tables and get you out so you can on the street. read more

It's the closest ER to my home. But this place reminds me of a poor urgent care center. Transfer here, referrals there. Why am I here. Why is there air? Wasted away again in Park West ER. Best. ER. Experience. EVER!!! We love the automated sign in. Once that was done, we explained what the issue was and my husband was taken right in for pain medication before ANYTHING else was done. The registration receptionist was awesome. She was kind, caring, funny, and professional. The PA was kind and knowledgeable. The nurses all had wonderful attitudes. In Hawaii, we expect to spend a minimum of 3 hours in the ER. We were in and out in less than an hour with our paper prescription for my husband. I wish we had a Park West in Hawaii!! read more

Received a call today from a Miss. Bryant regarding my review of my ER visit. She assured me that the issues I had were in no way acceptable. She is looking into it and will be making those involved aware so nobody else gets treated as I was. She apologized to me and it was a sincere apology and I beleived every word she said. I was not expecting to hear from anybody about this. I feel they are going above and beyond to handle this to ensure people get the care and compassion they deserve when facing a medical crisis. There are some aspects to be reviewed. Time waiting, efficiency, level of care, and cost. For the these aspects , respectively, I will rate a 3, 2, 5, and zero. The wait was over a couple of hours, even though triage called me pretty quickly. I had a ripped toe nail. Still partly attached to the toe. The problem was not exactly solved. I had it soaked and trimmed, after an attempt to remove it (which was so painful, due to insufficient blocker injected) I had to beg the PA to stop) . That was it. Yes, they were polite, caring. But, I would like to warn other clients who might need their service that we were billed a whopping $4.000,00 (yes, read it again four thousand) for this visit. Four thousand! Yes, friends. Yes, governor, yes insurance, yes Park ER business owners, do you all sleep at night? Please be informed before you get to be seen or maybe even try somewhere else. Conclusion, I'm giving this place a final rate 2, considering this experience and the level of stress I am in, now after being ripped off financially by this sort of business. read more

I've never been to such a nice emergency room. It is clean and the staff is kind, professional and exceptional. The wait was not long at all and I was cared for with compassion and efficiency. Belle, the nurse who cared for me, was amazing, calm (I was in a lot of pain and cried out on occasion, but she was steady as a rock), professional and patient. Dr. Williams visited me three times, thoroughly examined me, took time to discuss my emergent medical problem, explained in detail my diagnosis and follow-up advice. The supervising physician Dr. Daniel Cobau, came in to examine me, talked to me and even called to follow up the next day to check on me and remind me to come back if I had worsening symptoms. Have you ever received a follow-up call from an ER? That was a first for me. There was a young resident who was also very kind and knowledgeable who did the initial interview with me, but I regret I cannot remember his name. I've been fortunate to not have a lot of ER visits in my life, but the ERs I have visited in the past were usually chaotic, had long, long waits, were super crowded and had staff that seemed pulled in all different directions and didn't have much time to spend with each patient. That is not the case in this ER. read more

I brought my dad here for an emergency. There was nobody else around so the wait was very short. The staff, nurses, and doctors were all great. He was eventually transferred to the main hospital on Kingsley via ambulance. Everyone here did a great job. read more

This the worst ER in Jax. They did not do anything substantial, and charged me $1,400 for a blood test, a 30 min stay, & sent me home. I still had problems & was brought to Baptist ER & I was diagnosed with serious issues & treated immediately. read more

Had to take my friend here about a month back because she fell and split her head open. When we got to the hospital the receptionist was very helpful and pleasant, the triage nurse was okay, but the on call doctor came in and looked at my friend (mind you didn't even though her to look at the wound) and said it looks okay I'm not sure why you came in and want a CT of you head. First off I'm in the medical field and she was having blurred vision and a splitting headache, yet when she told the doctor they still insisted she didn't need to get a head scan. This is usually protocol, but she told my friend she doesn't see the need. Then when she came into the room she acted as though we were wasting her time and didn't really want to be there. Even though this is the closest ER to my house I would rather go downtown!!! At least then I will be treated and not shooed out the door. She had no bedside manner at all. read more

I visited this location on Oct 2 due to a finger laceration, the weekend team was nice and empathetic to my situation, I was in/out within the hour, paid my bill and left. On the morning of Oct 3, I received a call from the receptionist, Gina, asking me to come back in that day for a follow-up per the ER Dr, Dr Zeaton of whom tended to me the day before. I arrived that afternoon of which I was placed in the sitting area behind the receptionist area, not a room. Dr Zeaton unwrapped, cleaned and re-bandaged my finger, which took approximately 10-15 mins. This place was so chaotic, there were several employees calling my name, when in fact I was already being taken care of. Two months later, I received a non-itemized bill for $450, mind you this is twice the amount I paid for on the previous day. I have sent written disputes via certified to not only their local office but corporate office as well and to no avail. They have now tarnished my credit, I am receiving collection calls on a daily basis of which I am refusing to pay. No call backs or communication from these people, but by the looks of several other reviews, this is their MO. Their health care treatment may be good but their financial/billing side absolutely sucks, they are thieves! I will never visit this location again!!!!! read more
