it has been 3 months and still have not been able to get the final details figured out. they've been waiting for over a month, at least for some plugs to cover the holes they drilled in the PVC Fence, not sure where are they getting them from, but had to be way far. on the wood fence they used staples instead of screws and wood has been popping out. they' e come to repaired it, putting new staples which doesn't fix the problem. my bad por approving the payment before the got it all right. read more

Eragon send employees to my house that were disrespectful and did not speak a lick of english. They painted my fence the wrong color and then left the debris from the old fence in my yard for almost three weeks.And dumped their empty paint cans into my green recycling bin, getting paint all over my brick patio.And all on my recycling bin, pretty much ruining it. Then, I charged my account for the second half of the payment without getting clearance from me for the finish of the job basically committing fraud. Then, when I contacted them, the supervisor and everybody that worked for them.That handled my complaints was disrespectful rude and threatening. These people are disgusting, and so are the people that work for them. I wouldn't recommend them to my worst enemy.The disrespect it's shown to me and the destruction to my property was outrageous. But they chopped it off with absolute disregard for my feelings and committed fraud.And took their final payment without approval. Truly grotesque! They shouldn't be in business! read more

Several years ago, Ergeon Fencing installed a 65-foot fence with a gate in our back yard and did a good job. When Ergeon submitted the low bid for a fence project for my church and the school that leases space from us, we gave them the job. There were four other neighbors involved who would share costs, and the school had gotten a small business grant to offset their cost. Ergeon, for a fee, agreed to handle Berkeley permitting because some sections of the fence were to be eight feet high for sound mitigation. Over the course of a year Ergeon struggled, repeatedly changing project managers (there were at least four). Handoffs were sloppy; every time the new manager misunderstood requirements, requiring a new survey and quote. Seven months later a quote was agreed on, a survey with a construction supervisor done, and we waited for approval of the permit application. After six weeks Ergeon told us the application had been overlooked. Two months later the city rejected the application and requested more information; a month later Ergeon said they couldn't do the permit application. At that point we found another local family-owned company that was able to complete the job. It took less than a month. Ergeon's performance was less than abysmal. We later learned that, though they claim to be local, their headquarters is overseas and they use contract staff to manage jobs who may not even live in the US. (Their last manager was a very nice woman in Mexico.) They did not understand local regulations and laws. Their sales, management, estimating departments had terrible communication. Quotes did not match our discussions with the managers and often ignored input to managers to managers. In short, Ergeon's business model was incapable of handling project-specific requirements. If you need a quality fence built in a reasonable time you are much better off using a real local company. I and the five other parties involved in this project will certainly never consider doing business with Ergeon again. read more

The unorthodox pricing process is frustrating. I called 4 companies to bid my fence work. 3 contractors showed up, took their own measurements, and provided a quote in 48hrs. Ergeon him'd and haw'd over their pricing process and sent over a "Guess", as stated in the language of the price sheet that specifies all prices are subject to a " A quote with exact pricing will be provided after a review by one of our estimation specialists." Really? As a consumer, and someone who spent a career in construction on both the contractor and client side, this entire process has left me feeling that Ergeon is a bit slimy. If I called and asked for an estimator to come out, and your pricing isn't a quote until an estimator comes out, why are you wasting my (and your) time with the video call step? Pricing came back really low originally and after scrutinizing the scope i realized several items I asked for over the phone were left off the quote. I reached out to Ergeon to explain the scope again and received pricing that included 80% of the scope and a commitment to the remaining 20% once they cost of materials was gathered. This was 48hrs ago, in 2024, this information is not 48hrs away. So far my experience is that the pricing is close to pre-covid construction costs which is enticing, but the language in their "Best Guess" document leaves the consumer open to change orders and with the missing 20% of scope, that is the leverage. Integrity matters. Money is tight, interest rates are high, and everything is twice as expensive as it was 3yrs ago. There's no need to jerk around consumers with this circus. This review is not on the construction work or workers that Ergeon employs or subcontracts. Its on the sales process that I have experienced. read more

I recently had my fence installed by Ergeon. When I requested a quote, Sue C responded promptly and schedule a call with sales. I obtained 5 quotes and this was the lowest one. I had previously had my other side fence done by another company and they were not able to get close to the price. Jorge was our project manager. Communication was excellent throughout the entire process. I knew exactly what was happening the entire time. I was impressed with their ability to quote via Satellite. It made it easy to obtain an estimate. However, the only thing I was not content with was that when they came to do a final walk through, my price went up due to having to work next to concrete. That would not have been an issue if someone would have done an in person quote. At that point, they were no longer the lowest price and was comparable to others. The reason I stayed with Ergeon was because Jorge kept constant communication vs the competitors. Installation day was fast and easy. I believe Elias was our installer, he never introduced himself to my husband, so I'm assuming based on Jorge's email that he was in charge of the project. However, Miguel who was the first to arrive and his first day on the job, was very friendly and kept my husband up to date on the status of the job. I would not recommend this company. I have been doing upgrades for my home and have been working with many contractors and I can tell you this company is the worst I've ever dealt with. It was smooth sailing when talking with the sales person but once it left Fernandos hands it went down hill from there. They sub out so no one in this company knows what the other person is doing. They quoted me for a gate and thereafter I was supposed to have someone calling me to schedule my appointment which took two weeks before I finally got a call. After that, a pre install evaluation was done by someone else. I was told I had to wait for the utility companies to approve it before they could dig to install the posts. That took another week. Then it took another week to get the installers out. When they arrived they began to tell me that I was not getting posts for my gate. Their design was completely different from what I was told and per my contract. So I waited for nothing because the utility companies didn't need to approve it. Then they didn't even have the right supplies so they couldn't finish it. I had to wait days and kept calling to get an answer but the project manager couldn't give me an answer. After 3 days I was finally told they would come back on a Saturday at 8:00 am. I waited and they didn't show up until 9:40am. They were also hours late on the first day of my project too. Horrible experience and even worse customer service. Never again would I use their service. Stay clear of this company! read more

My neighbor and I hired Ergeon to replace our back fence. It was overgrown with vegetation and the recent storms caused it to fall. I was impressed with Ergeon's easy and simple estimate/quote process. Their rep had me do it through google meet. She provided the estimate and measurements virtually. And when the project manager came to do the initial walkthrough, the measurement was pretty accurate. Our fence needed to be fixed after years of wear and tear. I found the end product great! It was challenging to manage who to speak with, from the first salesperson to the person who took the measure measurements to Jorge, the end project manager. We received emailed quotes with 3D rendering...we did go back and forth about whether to go with redwood or cedar and, in the end, decided on redwood since we needed it to last longer. Once I was connected to Jorge, it was smooth sailing from there. He was available, efficient, and worked with my husband and me to correct the order (measurements), took us through what to expect, and ensured we were satisfied. They completed the work in one day - amazing, hard-working people! About 4 weeks later, we had one of the pieces of wood starting to splinter on the gate. I took photos, called Jorge, and he had someone out within a week...they stand behind their guarantee! We still have to do a final stain - which between our work schedules is hard to fit in, but we want the wood to last long, and it is necessary. Super happy with our fence from Ergeon! We contemplated a few different designs and went back and forth with the sales guys and received a few different estimates but they never complained. Once we signed the agreement, things went smoothly and quickly. The lead foreman of the job, Josh, was awesome. He came out and did another measurement and talked with me a bit more about the process. He was very hands on, delivering most of the wood and supplies himself. When I had a small issue with the way something was looking, Josh jumped right in and resolved it quickly. All the guys were very polite and professional. Rain was going to set us back a day, but the following day Josh had a few extra guys on the crew so they could finish the job as planned. Alan at Ergeon requested that I write them a Yelp review before the job was done. I did so because the response to my Yelp inquiry was quick, efficient and we were given a fair estimate. We signed a contract and a pre-installation meeting was set up. My husband waited for 2 hours for the "project manager". Nobody ever showed. Nobody called to say they'd be late, reschedule or give us any indication that the appointment was cancelled. We called 4 times. Texted twice and emailed twice. Jolene, the person that answered at one of their numbers said she had tried to reach someone for us but couldn't. Pretty unbelievable. It's been 4 days and nobody has followed up with us, apologized for the no-show or attempted to give us a reason for completely dropping the ball. So, we are going with another company. On 6-28 -2024 Eregon finished a fence installation for a property line fence. On Tuesday, Jan 7th Part of the fence failed. The strongest gust of wind in my area was reported at 6: 00 am in the morning that gust was 40 mph. This is in Rancho Cucamonga. They told me that the fence is rated at up to 80 mph. They said that they would be happy to come put it back together for a fee. They are saying that winds hit as high as 120 mph not true. I believe it was improperly built. The personnel on this job I think rushed to get it done. So we now have a pile of vinyl pieces to have installed by someone else. Because they are refusing to honor there installation. It will be a week tomorrow without being able to have the dogs out for both properties. If I would have known the fence life expectancy was only 6 months I would have not used their product and would have used old fashion wood that they took down that lasted 25 years. These folks seem to be in a rush and want to do everything online. 0 stars for this group, It would be different if they stood behind what they said and their craftsmanship. Craftsmanship Warranty from our contract. Contractor guarantees that all newly installed fences will be free of workmanship defects. For this, Contractor will provide a 1 year Craftsmanship warranty on all fences, which will be counted from the date of installation. read more
