They are helping me refinance and I am happy with the terms. ---------------------------------------- I bought a home and got a mortgage through Flyhomes in August 2023. I also signed up to use their buy now, refi later on us program (see attached advertisement). Per the conditions of the program, I had to wait six months after closing to use it. I was assured by my Flyhomes mortgage officer that even if the program ended that it was in my file and that I would still be able to access it. Having access to this program is part of why I made the leap in buying a home with Flyhomes. It has now been more than six months and I have contacted (emailed and called) Flyhomes Mortgage eight times over the last five months about utilizing this program and they haven't responded to me. The one exception being I was able to get a live appointment with a mortgage broker. I explained my situation and he told me to email the mortgage president and explain my situation to receive the services. I did just that and still haven't heard anything back. I am so frustrated with this poor customer service. I would not recommend their services.

We have employed Scott twice - once in 2013 for a refinance of our current home and then a few years later (a few weeks ago) to refinance the same home. I have to emphasize that due to an unemployment issue a few years ago, our credit had taken a major hit. Another financial adviser in Tacoma who I won't name just told us what a hopeless case we were and told us to come back when we had our act together. Fast forward a couple years later. Scott gave us guidance on how to improve our credit, saw we were trying to improve, and he helped us steadily along our path. He doesn't let things slide and is good on following up. When we thought we couldn't achieve our goal, Scott had faith in us and treated us with respect, and helped us best he could for a favorable outcome. We signed papers the other day and were able to get the funds needed for some critical home projects at a good interest rate. Our mortgage has gone up some - but that's okay when you take into account that he also helped us consolidate and pay off other large debt (car payment and other home we were renting out) that overall will save us tons on interest. He truly cares about his clients and is not just extremely knowledgeable in his field, but also polite, personable and upbeat, respectful and respectable, confident, good communicator and even funny at times - just a real pleasure to work with. He even said it was okay to call or text him late at night to answer questions (but check with him first on that!). When the transactions were all over we even received some customary gifts from his team! I personally cannot imagine a better person to work with, and totally recommend him to anyone needing a lender. Did I mention that his staff is awesome too? Friendly yet very professional. Bill's plan is straightforward: have your property inspected then "fix" everything that the inspection notes as a problem. Complete the fixes before listing the property. Our buyers did not require additional inspection. Bill's sales process is transparent; he tells buyers and their agents exactly what they must do to have their offers accepted. Then when offers are received, he tells all of them what the best offer is and gives all a chance to match or beat it. The combination of preparation, sale process transparency, and negotiation sold our home within 26 hours of listing and a price multiple points above asking and above the appraised value.
