During the pandemic I got a traffic ticket. I made some calls to a few law firms to take care of it and they were all wishy washy due to the pandemic and none of them had any sort of ability to me to have confidence in their ability to get my ticket taken care of. I decided to update my previous review because of the new attorney that took over my case, Chris. I don't know how he did it, but he changed my overall opinion of the Law Offices of Eric Blank. He called me fairly soon after being assigned to my case and was able to actually explain everything going on in terms of the case, good and bad. I give him kudos for how he handled our first conversation; I was not the nicest person to talk to at the moment. I want to say about a month after taking over my case he was able to close and finalize everything. He even reduced some of the attorney fees without me asking. Eric himself called to follow up and get any more recommendations to improve future experiences, which was appreciated. He's made the right improvements as far as I can tell. Everything Chris did was what I was looking for in the very beginning. He actually made the first attempt to call me, he utilized my email, and kept me updated on what was going on. I understand these things take a while to finalize and that is fine, communication is all I needed to keep me happy. They have horrible service I got in a wreck since December 2015 and I've had a hard time trying to ahold on Donna my case manager and she takes weeks to answer a call. I've never meet Eric in person I've been to the office a few time and "his never in the office". I got a letter from them since November 2015 that the insurance had came up with a deal and till this day I haven't received my check. They said it usually takes around 10 business day's. I call the office to ask questions the receptionist is really rude as soon as I say who I am and who I need to speak too. I would never recommend them or ever do business with them again. read more

My wife & I were involved in an accident on 12/14/2010. It was December 2016 before the final accounting was done. I could not recommend Mr Blank to anyone, for anything. After our dealings with him I would not use him even for a parking ticket. Contact between his office and ourselves was very infrequent, despite numerous calls and visits to his office. We feel that his counsel, representation, and performance in our behalf was not adequate. We discussed firing him, but if we had done so, he still would have received his % of any settlement. ( Client agrees that Client will make no settlement in this matter, except in the presence of the Law Firm, and with its approval, and should Client do so in violation of this agreement , Client agrees to pay the Law Firm the sum and share above indicated. ) Also section titled; TERMINATION OF EMPLOYMENT. Client agrees not to substitute attorneys without the consent of the Law Firm, except for miscount or incapacity of the Law Firm to act; and if substitution is effected in violation hereof. the Law Firm shall be entitled to their full share and fee hereinabove stated. So I understood it to read as if we did hire another attorney , they would both get 40 % (arbitration), there would not be enough left over to pay Medical Costs. Hello BANKRUPTCY ! So we hoped and stayed with Mr. Blank; or mistake !!! The Dr. his office recommended to botched my wife's back surgery, she had to go back in from the recovery room for the Dr. to try to correct his mistake. She still to this day has problems. She is unable to work, which caused her to lose her business; ( 10 plus years same location ) Mr. Blank did not see fit to pursue the loss of her business, loss of income, Dr.'s error, etc. Due to these facts when it came time to settle, after Mr. Blank congratulated himself, on all of the reductions he was able to arrange, with the Dr.'s and hospital, ( Kudos to him here, he did a fine job here) I asked him if he was going to reduce his fees ? His reply; NO !!!! I suggested that he take his over 1/2 million in fees and go back to law school. Oh yeah we as clients ended up with $50 K. I've had Eric as an attorney since 2007. He took his time explaining the process and what I should expect. I was previously working with the heavy hitter and was realizing I was doing the running around instead of them. I wanted to learn and understand my case. If you want a Law Firm that has you come in for a Free Consultation and after the meeting both you and the LawFirm enter into a Legal Contract ;expecting legal representation and does nothing for 8 months this is the Law firm to consult. The firm informed us they were seeking further medical advise as required to bring our case to court A complete Lie as discovered by a review of our files . This firm had Hired a Office Manager Not a Attorney to organize the office Records and advised the wife and I they would not pursue our case based on a Business Decision involving funds to future the litigation. We were never notified of any progress simply because they did nothing but but return our 2 inch file provided to them. The contract they have you sign is only to benefit them and is dismissed without courts approval. This LawFirm won't investigate your claim and will use most of the Statue of Limitation without keeping you informed. They simply give Hard working Lawfirms a bad name.
