Located on the rear side of the high school this is a pretty traditional high school complex that has a track that circles around the whole field and a a home and visitors side. I've attended a few high school Football games here but mainly costed here for my daughters soccer games. Pretty solid atmosphere with your regular concessions. They do use mobile ticketing through an app which is becoming a trend for youth sports.

Being a life long Lousiville resident I have no clue who this gentleman is. Why does he have a plaza? Why has he been sculpted into a statue? Turns out he is a big time hotel business man who owned and create a majority of the cities prominent and upscale hotels including the galt house which sits at the base of this plaza and statue. So there's the history. A wealthy and successful hotel king for the city. Always nice to see public art and learn some history about your hometown. Overall it's a nice statue. In a very scenic spot near the river and over looking one of his success story hotels.

Pretty cool sculpture that per the signs was donated or erected for the mayor of the city. Located in a very nice portion of Jeffersonville near several popular eateries, nice parks and of course the river. If you walk to the overlook platform and look to the side you will see this sculpture. Overall it's a near addition to the riverfront. Always good to see new sculptures and pieces of public art.
