A couple of years ago I went from Geico the 360 and saved a considerable amount. It never occurred to me to shop the rate again because I liked my agent. I met Eric out riding bikes and sent him my details. Honestly did not expect a competitive price. He added an umbrella policy, increased my coverage, and still reduced my annual cost. He also helped me move vehicles between business and personal policy so that we are covered better. Finding a great price is nice. Having an agent that knows what he or she is doing is priceless. Dont go here. Got a quote for 2 cars, then a week later after I purchased the new car, their quote went up $80 a month. Terrible .

This office sold us a Home System Protection policy with our homeowner's insurance, however, when our hot water heater ruptured, the local office referred us to the national claims office, the intake coordinator referred us to a claims adjuster that couldn't tell us how to use the policy, or how to file a claim under this special Home System policy. After enrolling in this policy, we never received information about this policy or coverage in the mail, nor is documentation available online. We're approaching a week without hot water and still haven't been able to speak with anyone about what we need to do to move forward. I asked Eric's office if we could cancel the Home System Protection policy for a credit back, since we are unable to successfully use this policy, and was told we would need to cancel our entire homeowner's policy. When I asked the local office and the national claims center for documentation on this policy, they cannot provide any, including, how to file a claim. How are they allowed to sell a policy they can't provide documentation on? Out of complete frustration, we have cancelled the claim and will pay 100% out of pocket for a hot water heater versus getting the run around. One claims agent rudely stated, "at least you have water, it could be worse, you can still take a cold shower." DO NOT BUY the Home System Protection policy through State Farm. read more

I have been with Eric Lusby for several years now and all this time he has NEVER came out of his glass office to even say hi. He is the worst insurance agent that I have EVER had. He NEVER handles anything so he has his office staff do all his work for him. They are always raising their rates with no warning. Think smart and find a different agent!!! read more

If I could get zero stars I would. Eric is the most unethical insurance agent there is. He pays for reviews with Starbucks gift cards so if you're seeing a five star without specific details, then that person probably just got paid off to drop in a quick review. I've been with this office for years. Paid bills automatically so they were always on time. Then I have a claim and Eric and his staff are no where to be found. My car wasn't bad off but my medical debt was bad. And I will have ongoing medical problems. Eric just wants to make money, hand over fist. He is the most greedy person there is. I heard from a friend of mine that Eric wrote their house and her husband's welding shop. Then when the shop burned down, come to find out that type of business isn't covered by State Farm. Miraculously, after fighting for months and months, it was finally covered. How this guy with zero integrity stays in business is beyond me. read more

I have been a customer for over 10 years and will be looking for a different agent, probably another company. For the last 3 or 4 months I had been faced with my payments not posting. I was told that I should send it to the local address instead of sending it to their Dallas location which was printed on the bill. For some reason the post office sent it to Dallas anyway even though I wrote the local address on the envelope. I had asked if they could change the address on the bill. Their reply was to come in to pay the bill. This is not only inconvenient but I simply I do not have time to play games. They did not want to help track down the payment as I had requested them to call Dallas to see if they had it, they wouldn't even budge in helping me solve this issue. I have a perfect driving record and you'd think they would be happy to help. NOPE. Stay away. read more

I have had insurance with Eric Lusby for 15 years. Home and 2 cars currently. In the past I've had home, 3 cars, 2 motorcycles, and a trailer insured. The very first time I have any claim (an auto claim for $2000 - only $1,500 to them after my $500 deductible) they are fighting it tooth and nail. Not once have they contacted me. I have to continue to call every couple days, only to be told, "we're investigating." In the meantime I've had to pay for the repairs to my car out-of-pocket. I believe they have two paperwork bins when you file a claim: 1) the "Just Ignore Him, He'll go Away" bin, and 2) the "We'll call him back in 30 days and tell him we denied the claim" bin. Eric himself tells me on one call that my payment was made timely, then 4 days later tells me my payment was late. They give me a claim number, and then 4 days later can't find any record of that number. They tell me a claim agent will be in touch with me shortly. A week later, I'm still waiting for the call. The entire staff is incompetent. Eric doesn't know how to read the payment screen. Jennifer doesn't know how to pull up or even find a claim number. Both Jennifer and Susan don't even know how to take down a phone number when you ask for a call back. They are all totally oblivious to basic office functions 101. Eric and his team gladly accept 15 years of payments, but have absolutely no intention of ever paying out a single dollar out when you need it. Save yourself money and endless frustration and take your business else ware. There is a reason 4 out of 5 people give this business a one star rating. Disgusting! Sean H. read more

First of all, let me say that if I could give Eric Lusby 0 or -0 stars, that's what I would've rated him & his business practices. I know this is lengthy, but please continue reading-it could save you a lot of money & stress in the end. If I can help even one person out there looking for an agent to not get completely swindled, that's why I am writing this review. I have known Eric half my life, my family had insurance with him a long time. I started my own policies with him as soon as I was old enough. So here we are, all this time later and I have severed ties with his office & now preparing to leave State Farm. Now, we all know that insurance is a scam. We pay out tons of money every month most of us will never even benefit from. So it already hurts a little but then to have your agent scam you as well...that's a real fun thing to deal with. Eric is unethical, dishonest and greedy. He is a liar & a scam artist & will literally lie through his teeth to get what is best for him. He will tell you that he only has your best interest at heart as the valued costumer but when he makes a mistake on your policy (admits it to you but won't when being investigated), then takes no responsibility for his actions & tells you that's the way it goes sometimes, that sucks. We bought a policy through him, an HO6 for a townhouse/condo. Over the phone, we briefly went over coverage with his staff. Then, less then a year later-we get hammered with a hailstorm! We call in, the girls in his office tell us that they don't cover that damage first of all and then eventually tell us that we're only covered for $1,000 of it and there is no other options. We find out that they underinsured us and didn't even know the policy well enough to offer us sufficient coverage. I talked to Eric & he personally told me that HE did the same thing to a lady in highlands ranch, co and that she's having to pay out $10,000 and she's only covered for $1,000 like we are, so we should be happy. And then laughed it off, He said "that was my bad, that was my bad, l'll admit that, but there's nothing that can be done. You just have to deal with it." If the lady from highlands ranch or someone who knows her is reading this, please tell her to go after Eric for errors & omissions. He should have to pay out for his mistake. Unfortunately, State Farm doesn't mind dishonest, lying snakes representing them, so they backed him up in my case, but if someone else comes forward, they might listen! I spent months & countless hours talking to different depts at State Farm, even corporate, just to be treated with such disregard and disrespect to not even be called when they were doing their final "investigation." Well of course they're not going to backdate & pay out what they should, that affects their pocketbooks as well. But to have an agent who is so immoral & unethical representing them & then to stand behind his fraudulent actions, it's disgusting! Eric Lusby will blame you for being underinsured, as he did me. As he told me-"it's your responsibility as the customer to know your insurance policy." Whereas that may be true, I didn't go to school to be educated on insurance like you did Eric & I don't get paid to know about insurance, You do. So do it right and don't blame the consumer who pays you good money to know your crap! Unfortunately, this is not the only time Eric has screwed up on our policies. That one costs us thousands which thankfully he had to reimburse because he got caught! His office gave us wrong information (gee, does that sound familiar?) & only because his staff member had documented it, did he have to pay it back to us. Otherwise he said he wouldn't have. So that's Eric Lusby all summed up, everyone. Greedy, lying, dishonest, immoral, unethical & last but not least, doesn't do the right thing even when he knows he messed up! You don't want to have coverage with him, because when your day comes (and it will) for him to have your back, he won't be there. Eric only does what's best for Eric! In fact, he will be the guy lying and taking all your money and denying he even knows you. How sad! read more
