I have some cardiac issues that I needed to attend to and wanted to find an excellent Cardiologist to take over my care. I had a flare up and needed to find someone fast. I went to the handy dandy internet to do research because I didn't have the option of a good referral. Yelp and the internet have never let me down on the review system so off I went looking for a rockstar of sorts to takeover my treatment. I needed a doctor that wouldn't just give a bandaid but help with a curative course of action. I found Dr. Michelle Lister and did research on her medical training. She's attended the top schools and trust me you can't even get in to these schools without very high GPA's...translated that means she's very smart! She has stellar reviews, great education and I got a sense from her write ups, she would be on the ball. I wasn't wrong! She is a rockstar!!! I just love this doctor. She's very thorough in her evaluation and exam. She didn't miss a beat (no pun intended)! We talked about all my medical history, not just the cardiac related issues. I felt cared for and that my doctor was invested in my care and future course of action. She gave me a lot to consider and think about, no judgements, just honest concern, support and encouragement. I couldn't be happier with her and all the support she's provided thus far. Together we devised a plan of action. I trust her plan! I am confident, with her guidance and caring nature, we'll get this beat once and for all! As for the ultrasound tech who did my scans, I was a bit horrified at the fact that she was lying on the bed I was getting my ultrasoundsound and taking a nap when I entered the room. She welcomed me and was sweet in nature because she saw the look on my fave. I'm not looking for a friend, I'm looking for someone to do a comprehensive test. She took three personal phone calls during my scan and I did not feel at all comfortable with her skill set as a professional. If not for my experience with This ultrasound tech, I would give the Cardiac Center four stars, however this appointment is unacceptable. No tech should be laying on a bed taking a nap when a patient walks in and never mind take personal calls after that during a scan. Highly unprofessional. Once I arrived at the facility, there was a table outside with a COVID-19 form "all patients must complete". The form indicated I MUST reveal if I had been vaccinated and if so, I MUST present my card. This information was not revealed previously. I asked the person at the front desk if I would not be seen if I did not complete the form. Her response was "everyone has to fill it out". I asked her several more times and got the same reply. I finally asked her to answer my question with a yes or no, she said "I would not be seen if I refused." I think it is very unprofessional not to ensure patients are aware of Elite Halthcare's rule at time the appointment is made as well as not having it readily announced on the website.

A quick search on the Internet and I see he's not some random guy practicing out of the back of a transit van so I made an appointment. Fast forward months now and I couldn't be happier. I had to seek him out as a result of a dramatic experience which sent me to the ER and left me for a week in hospital with dangerously high blood pressure which medications were not effective in lowering. Finally, after numerous tests and high doses of medication I was released and advised to find a cardiologist. Dr. Korn is a super sweet man who really knows his stuff. It only took two visits with him to get my BP regulated with medication but ONLY after he had exhausted all other possible causes which the ER may have missed. The office staff are wonderful and really caring, just like the man himself. I guess the demeanor of the staff are reflected by how they are treated by their boss and if that is anything to go by, he must be a good boss. My appointments are always pretty much on time (factor in the 20 mins or so to get insurance clearance etc.) and I am usually out of my office and back at my desk within an hour (I KNOW!!!! RIDICULOUS RIGHT???)

He recommended other cardiologists in the area. His specialty is in electrophysiology. So if you're looking for a general cardiologist, you might want to see someone else. One mishap that happened that day was their internet service was down the entire time we were there and they weren't able to retrieve any of my father's medical records that were faxed over. I know it's out of Dr. Florin's control bc we even have problems with our internet provider. Lol

A real person picks up the phone. Not a machine. They answer questions and really seem to care. I know that doesn't sound like it's asking too much, but it's the only office that we've been to that does that. Waiting times are almost what they should be. It seems that a lot of patients come without information, records, referrals etc and it slows things down, but the office works pretty well and is almost on time. Dr. Florin is great. He is a great doctor and a great guy. We did a lot of research before we saw him and he is clearly either the best or one of the top guys in the state. He made us comfortable right from the start. He's funny, but still very serious. It's a great combo. He did a great job on the ablation and answered all of our questions. We didn't see the other doctors in the office but they're supposed to be great. Dr. Vignola is very respected and I know people who have had their stents done by him. Dr. Cubeddu is the expert in structural heart disease. I saw some youtube videos and he seems very good. Dr. Florin said that he was excellent. There is also a surgeon, Dr.Lynn Seto. She is a cardiac surgeon with expertise in robotic surgery. She's new in the office, but Dr. Florin tells me she's great and, what can I say, my family trusts him!!
