Dr Schaffer said the only way to fix my loose skin was to get bigger implants I had 390cc he put in 940 cc on right and 860cc on left they came out deformed and he opened a pocket on my right breast which made implant lay under my arm and hang down 4" further than tge left...they where disgusting looking , my surgery was in October 2022 in April 2023 I had to pay Peter Ledoux to fix them!! My Review of Dr. Schaffer -No Procedure I am a huge advocate of doing extensive research before making a lifelong decision. I researched everything about a mommy make-over plastic surgery but more on the tummy tuck procedure. My name is Christy and I am an active duty personnel. I am writing this review to discuss my experience at my consultation with Dr. Schaffer on June 17, 2020. I can honestly say it went VERY VERY well. He performed a full body check on me, found out that I had a hernia, listened to what I wanted for my body goals, and gave advice on what he saw. He spent a lot of time with me and was shocked with how far I could suck my belly in. He reassured me that he could get me to what I wanted in body goals. He genuinely cared about me as a client and I know he could give me exactly what I want. And believe me I hate to say this much next, BUT I would not use his services. I have been to four surgeons so far and he is the most caring but his prices are two to three times the amount of all of them. He also requires you to get your own labs done which is an inconvenient as well. I have seen the reviews and he does some AMAZING work, and I wish I could be a client of his. From a Physician: He was a salesman prior to my wife's augmentation. I told him my wife was frequently participating in high impact sports such as jujutsu and had concern about the implants integrity. He sarcastically replied (to a fellow physician) that I was worrying about nothing and the "only time he had seen failures" was when one of his patients was in a major car accident. Within 6 months my wife suffered a ruptured implant! When we went back in there was NO expression of empathy! He didn't even say I'm sorry this happened to you. He presented a completely different face, was highly defensive, and said "I clearly told you that there was a 5% chance of failure!" Naively we allowed him to re-implant her with the same implant only for her to rupture again. I called him to inform his office of the failure and they did their best to get off the phone quickly and never called us back again. This guy is a fossil! His patient communication style dates back to the 70s-80s when physicians took a paternalistic role and talked AT their patients rather than interact with thier patients. I would highly recommend you look elsewhere for elective surgery because you cannot rely on him to back his work should you have a complication. read more

Great doctor--long lasting results! I recently consulted with Dr. Schaffer regarding my breast implant surgery that he performed over 23 years ago. My implants still look and feel like new, but I wanted to know if they should be replaced at some point in the future. I made an initial appointment with them, and they changed it without my consent! I usually wouldnt be so mad.... but when you make an inital its a 2-3month wait... and found out it was changed a week before the initial date. The original one i had was taken. Needless to say I had to wait another 3 months for an appointment!!!! They said well somebody must have confirmed the appointment and said there was nothing else they could do!! Not sympathetic, receptionist didn't care.... Like it wasn't her problem.
