I saw Dr. Travis many many years ago for plantar fasciitis. He recommended a Tenex procedure that has been good ever since it was done. I recently started having numbness in my toes. I had a number of suspicions what the possible cause could be and he said I had a Morton's neuroma, he presented the options, we briefly reviewed the advantages and disadvantages of the treatments. I asked him for his recommendation, and went with what he recommended, because I trust him based on my previous outcome. He treated me on the spot and hopefully I won't have any more issues with it. Dr. Travis has come to my rescue several times with my many foot issues. Being a dancer all my life, I have some major problems. I recently had an accident causing me to have five stitches and a broken toe. I was told by urgent care to see a specialist. I immediately called Dr. Travis and he was able to see me that day. Dr Travis is one of the best podiatrist I have seen through the years. For 35 years I have suffered with a Morton's Neuroma and was told there is nothing to cure it. Not only did Dr Travis eliminate my Morton's Neuroma, on the bottom of my foot, but he also fixed an ingrown toenail issue that arose from another podiatrist. I highly recommend this Doctor. After reading all of the great reviews about Dr. Travis, I almost feel guilty about writing my review. I feel like someone should hear my story though. Dr. Travis was referred to me by a very close friend whom he was able to help with his heel pain. I went in with high hopes that he would do the same for me. He diagnosed my problem as plantar fasciitis after looking at my heel via ultrasound imaging. Like others have mentioned, he had great bedside manner and told me what I wanted to hear. I really liked him, and he seemed to really want to help me and assured me he could. He performed the first procedure called, RFNA, on me in early December of 2021. This is a procedure where a probe is inserted into the damaged area of the heel and heated to 80C to 90C to shock the facia. He was very confident that it would cure my problem. I told him I played tennis 3 times a week and he said he would have me back on the court in no time. Well, after the numbing medicine wore off the next morning, my heel pain was back. When I tried to play tennis the following week, it hurt worse than it ever had. I went back to him three weeks later and he tried another procedure where he injected something he simply called "medicine" into my heel. Once again, he was extremely confident that this would be the magic cure. Things were going well until approximately 5 weeks later when the "medicine" wore off. I later found out that the "medicine" was simply another form of cortisone which "masks" the pain but does not fix anything. I was now back to square one and had spent over $2000.00 on these two "in office" procedures. At this point, I was not thrilled about the possibility of having another procedure done by him, so I called his office three times to try and talk to him to ask if there was anything else we could try or if he felt like he was out of options for me. To date he has never returned my call. That is why I decided to post this negative review. Had he called me and admitted there was nothing else he could do for me, I would have been fine with that. I have since gone to see an orthopedic surgeon and am going to be scheduling gastric slide surgery in an attempt to fix my issue. read more

Love this doctor. I've been seeing dr Travis for almost 3 years now. He's extremely personable, easy to talk to, very accommodating and always pleasant and optimistic. At this point I'm probably mostly in a maintenance phase for pain and activity. Dr. HoHai Van is the Gold Standard of doctors and is the Hallmark of great Cardiology. Dr. Van is everything one would wish for in a doctor. Dr. Van is smart, patient, kind, (handsome-my husband let me say that) and really listens to what his patients have to say. Upon first meeting Dr. Van it is very evident that he truly has your personal needs held in the upmost of importance. There are not enough ways to say how wonderful this doctor is to his patients. Dr. Travis performs MAGIC!! I am 89 years old & have been battling Diabetes and related symptoms caused by this condition for years. Mainly, Neuropathy in my lower legs & feet, along with a little fungus in my toe nails. Sleeping became very uncomfortable due to shooting pain and throbbing going up my legs and my toe nails were not looking so great. Dr. Travis uses the newest kind if "electronic laser" technology, which does not hurt and works to regenerate the nerves & stimulates cells growth... MAGIC! Laser therapy has worked miracles on my lower legs and I no longer suffer from sleepless nights and the level of pain went from a 9 to barely any. Additionally, the laser also helps treat & clear toe fungus, which has also shown tremendous improvement. I am so impressed with Dr. Travis and always look forward to seeing him. Dr. Travis has been treating for me bilateral neuromas intermittently for about 2-3 years, and he has helped tremendously. Prior surgery with a different podiatrist resulted in short-lived improvement. I consider Dr. Travis to be an excellent physician. He has treated the recurrent neuromas with non-invasive lazer therapy and the relief has been for longer periods of time than I had following the fore-mentioned surgery.
