I came in because my toe was bleeding the night before and I have a fungus to deal with on that toe. The podiatrist was honest about the situation, but very relaxed about it and I really appreciate that. I had been experiencing pain in my left foot for quite a while and I continued to walk each morning and each evening. The pain use to subside but lately had not. Visited with Dr. Yang of OC Podiatry and was very pleased with his professionalism, knowledge and friendliness. I saw Dr. Covey today for a 2nd opinion before scheduling surgery as advised by another Dr. He was very upfront, didn't try to undermine my previous dr. But gave me his honest opinion and advised against surgery until he sees an MRI. He drew out on a sheet of paper what he thought the problem is and ordered an MRI. I like Dr Coveys approach and feel confident the problem in my foot is what he says it is. I am relieved that I may not have surgery putting me in a boot for six weeks. I just met dr covey but I trust him. He took his time to explain everything that could be going on with my foot. I'm so happy I found this dr. And took the time to get a 2nd opinion. Dr Andrew Yang and Front desk Michelle are the best! I came across OC Podiatry after a 5th metatarsal injury and couldn't have been happier with the care and service. A couple things I truly appreciated: 1. Punctuality. Never had to wait more than 5mins at appointment to see the Dr (they have a very well operated set-up). 2. Patient friendly. If you opt in you get a text or email reminder a couple days prior to appointment and day before, which is super helpful for busy people. 3. Safe. Even during covid, I felt safe. It is apparent that the team takes care of ensuring everything is clean and disinfected between patients. 4. Efficient. Dr. Yang would come into the room prepared. This is huge for me. He had looked at the x-rays and as he opened the door would immediately have news. He delivered it direct and in a compassionate manner. I wish every medical professional would do this to reduce anxiety in patients. 5. Kind. Michelle at the front desk in HB location, but also the staff at the Irvine location (went there once), are super kind. I went to Doctor Pham for a broken foot (resulting from a fall) with a possible infection. The doctor was very thorough and professional. He recognized the risk that a foot infection could be to a diabetic like me and took a comprehensive approach to my treatment.
