That's why I changed my dentist to Fredericksburg Dentistry. They are very accommodating and still old school when it comes to dentistry, cleaning teeth or periodontal maintenance. The place is very clean, all their front office people are friendly and of course, the hygienist and dentists in the back office are busy treating their patients. I have had the same hygienist for all my previous visits, and we are becoming more acquainted with each other. She has the softest touch! It's quite a drive for me to get there from my hill country home but it's worth it. What normally would have been a 25-minute trip became 45 minutes because of road construction and maintenance. No matter, just being able to drive to Fredericksburg is a joy by itself!

Truly the best dental experience I have ever had in my life! My crown (from another dentist) fell…read moreoff so I called the office and the receptionist put me at complete ease. I knew immediately this was where I wanted to go because she was so amazing. When I arrived she gave me a warm pack to put on my shoulders to help ease my tension. The doctor wasn't in that day so the assistant was able to put temporary glue on my crown and get me on my way. When I arrived a few days later to get the new crown Dr Hoerster was there and he absolutely blew me away. Words to describe him: Full of Integrity, compassionate, knowledgeable, honest, gentle, kind, generous. I am a difficult case with issues with vertigo and he had to stand up to get in my mouth because I can't lay back fully because it makes me dizzy. His level of compassion about that truly humbled me. I was so nervous about this visit but Dr Hoerster and his entire staff completely put me at ease. I was amazed by how comprehensive the exam was (I never had anything more than x-rays before!). They even did a cancer screening and gum recession test! In all that I got to meet several of his staff members and they were all beyond wonderful! THANK YOU DR HOERSTER AND ALL OF YOUR STAFF! He also kept trying to to sell me implants and when I said no he kept announcing to his staff 'she is refusing the recommendation' so all patrons could hear was a bit off putting. He wanted $11k for an implant but filled the tooth for $500. I could go on about the horrible service but want to forget it. Wont be back!

Most dentist in Fredericksburg required a 2 hour meet with the dentist to include x rays, etc. BEFORE they would clean my teeth. Ridiculous and not covered by insurance. Dr. Kruppel is a breath of fresh air. No one really likes to go to the dentist but hubby and I went in at 5 PM!! That in itself is amazing. You will not find fancy or mega expensive machines all over the place here. In fact his office is located in an old home sort of remodeled into an office suite. It is plain and simple. No matching furniture or state of the art TVs, etc. He provides coffee, etc and old magazines. When called into the office both hubby and I were invited in at the same time. One for work and one to "visit". Dr. Kruppel is a mature gentleman with emphasis on gentle. ABSOILUTELY no pain or automated high speed scrapers in use here. Quiet patient cleaning with good advice at the close. I have never had such a gentle dentist in all my 60 plus years. WI travel with our dental records on a jump drive which he perused and added his visit to the log before we left. I might also add - if needed he is licensed in the most recent laser techniques and does work for referrals from Austin and San Antonio. Go see him. No pain

Darin Holmes did my partials a while back and I want to leave another review because I still need…read morepartials and he did mine..and they still don't fit..I paid him almost 2,000.00 for my torture he put me through..he forgot to put them stuff to remove the molding from my teeth and roof of mouth..and it took 10 minutes for his assistant and him to pry off the molding..I cried in pain..and once it finally came off..I thought my teeth were ALL loose!! Very traumatic..very sad..his evil uncaring self..and wife working the front desk..NEVER EVER showed me care or sympathy when that happened and forced me to pay for the torture he put me through ANYWAY!! I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS UNprofessional..GOSSIPPY dentist..he talked about EVERYONE in town and people he worked on as well. He's an evil man and I am shocked I paid them for partials I still can't wear ..horrible horrible dentist!
