I started in my mid 30's with ongoing back issues, and over the years, they've helped me stay active and functioning despite severe disc degeneration, bulging discs, scoliosis, and arthritis. I was even told by an orthopedic surgeon years ago that I likely wouldn't be walking past age 35, which makes the care I've received here even more meaningful. They've also cared for my kids through years of intense sports like gymnastics, figure skating, and hockey all the way through college. Having someone you trust with both your own health and your kids' says everything. But that review deserves one of its own. For now, Dr Chris' care with my 3 kiddos has been incredible. What keeps me coming back after all these years is the genuine care and compassion. I've always felt listened to and supported, and everything is explained in a way that actually makes sense. The staff is just as kind and welcoming, which makes every visit a positive experience. I recommend them to friends all the time without hesitation. That alone probably says more than anything else I could write.

Within 48 hours, I was presented with a very aggressive sales plan: a 10‑week program for $4,500 cash, or a one‑time payment of $3,500, requiring at least 3 visits per week and several machine‑based treatments. After that experience, I will not be returning. The business model felt more like a high‑pressure sales funnel than patient‑centered care. The treatment plan they pushed was extremely expensive, especially considering I have continued my own therapy & the following week, I went back to my trusted chiropractor in the same area, who did not nor has he ever pressured me into thousands of dollars of prepaid treatments and has helped me tremendously at a far more reasonable cost. It's unfortunate, because I went in hopeful, but I left feeling uncomfortable with their sales only approach and won't be going back.

Even though it was covered under my insurance, they persuaded me to sign a contract and pay them every month. After the first couple of adjustments I decided I DEFINITELY Did Not want to be stuck in a contract with a horrible chiropractor!! I told them that I wanted out of the contract and they replied that I could not. I was billed almost $2,000!! I called and spoke to Jamie. She said, " You lied about your insurance AND if you don't pay it then it's going to collections." She offered 1/2 off if I PIF today. I told her I don't have that kind of money! She told me that they accept credit cards. I told her that I'm not going to pay for it until I find out if it's covered under my insurance. She said if I don't pay 1/2 today then I'd be responsible for the entire bill or it's going to collections. How can she tell me that I " lied" about my insurance?!! First of all, I was shocked that someone in the medical field (or any job dealing with people) could speak to someone so rudely while trying to get $$!! I said, "1st of all I Don't Lie." I asked her how was it approved in the beginning and suddenly not now. She said the insurance was covering it and I discontinued my insurance! My insurance has stayed the same for years. Also, how is that possible if I am still using it at my new chiropractor Arizona Pain. I gave them my insurance card so how could I possibly lie about my insurance?! I called my insurance company and they said that AFC NEVER billed my insurance!! Yet they are billing me and making threats that will lower credit score by sending it to collections!!
