There was only real estate and marital income that needed to be divided. But the lawsuit began in 2012 and did not end until this year (2024). Of course, this was delayed for more than three years due to the COVID-19 epidemic. I initially found two lawyers, but other than making a promise and taking away the legal fees, no substantial progress was made at all. Moreover, the first lawyer charged $1,500 from my credit card without my knowledge, so I had to fire him. During a court hearing in 2017, the other party's lawyer suddenly made a false statement and misled the judge into awarding the property that I deserved to the other party. The reason why it is said that the other party's lawyer made a falsification is because the other party's lawyer once sent me a fax, which clearly stated the down payment I had paid when purchasing this property. However, during this trial, the evidence was concealed from the judge by the other party's lawyer, causing me financial losses. At the end of the hearing, I was told that the case was over and all that remained was to enforce the verdict. I had no choice but to find a lawyer to seek a Set Aside. Fortunately, this time I found Mr. John Perrott. Under his guidance, we used the law as a weapon to force the other party to submit step by step. I sent him emails asking for the remaining funds with no answer. I spent more money paying on his traveling than anything . I was charged for every minute spent on the phone with him. He never called me or explained how he was going to go about fighting my case. His communication was horrible. I had called him over and over trying to give him information so that he could build a case and he acted like it was all irrelevant. I asked Mr Rudy to ask the judge for certain things like a tier to mediation, which he told me was too late to ask for so I asked the judge myself and it was granted. I had to ask the judge myself to pull police reports, school records and other things that Mr Rudy would not ask for. Again I represented myself basically with him sitting at my side doing absolutely nothing. He didn't take my case seriously at all. Good luck if you obtain the lawyer. I love my child and took this very serious and he didn't. We love our kids that's why we are willing to pay high dollar to fight the good fight.

Mr. Marcellino doesn't appear as self-serving as the other attorneys - rather than seeing my problem as a way to enrich himself - he was honest, straightforward and even did some follow-up research and gave me good insight - all this without extracting a huge payment upfront. He may not be the richest attorney in the area due to his lack of greed. From my experience he is good, knowledgeable and helpful and I would highly recommend consulting with him if you need a Family Law Attorney. Then when I picked up my things, he was also there trying to avoid eye contact with me and started talking with another attorney and continued ignoring me. We went to the elevator, and he took a different elevator. While we were waiting at the courtroom door, he was walking around looking at or reading things on the wall and right about 3 minutes before they opened the courtroom, he approached me and we went in. Then I realized he was not prepared and/or had not even re-read or reviewed my case before we were called by the judge. While we were waiting to be called, I was sitting next to him and I noticed that he was using his iPad and navigating Facebook and other social media and watching videos. Of course, judges and others may not notice that because some good attorneys tend to use their devices to review their cases while waiting to be called, but I personally witnessed that he was interacting on social media and responding to comments. Then we were called by the judge, and he said things incorrectly (arguments). If you are in a family law case battle, he is not the right one to represent your case. He might be good for another kind of cases, but in my opinion, based on my own experience, he is not. I am leaving this review based on my own experience. If someone else had a good experience hiring him, good for them, but that was not my case.
