I have personal auto I have business auto I have business and I have homeowners policies that's a lot of insurance so don't think for one second that I don't go out and check the rates and check apples to apples what people give for insurance for the cost ! Never mind that the people are very conscientious about their work and the ethics are top notch - but they have options of different insurance companies and different types of coverages to be able to satisfy almost any driver unless of course you have many things against you which then it is not the insurance companies or the insurance agents fault that you cannot get a reasonable price it is your own fault and you better keep shopping around! If there is a way to give you coverage this agency is the one that will find it - all without compromising integrity or other insureds rates !!!

And refuse to perform simple business requests such as faxing a copy of your policy documents. The owner Robert Schumway is especially bad in the way he treats departing customers. I did not have any issues prior to this and other than feeling my policy was too expensive I was overall satisfied with this agency until I decided to leave (a competitor found a much lower rate). If you are shopping around for an insurance policy, there are other agencies in town which will treat you much better. I urge you to check the yellow pages and do your homework.

Beware of Fraudulent Insurance Practices - Avoid This Agent!…read more I had a terrible experience with Chris McAuliffe and want to warn others before they fall into the same trap. This agent sold me an insurance policy under false pretenses, misrepresenting the coverage and failing to disclose that he was not even licensed to sell insurance in Massachusetts. As a result of his negligence, the RMV flagged my vehicle as uninsured, revoked my license plates, and fined me. This has caused major disruptions, preventing me from registering my car, obtaining necessary parking permits, and even driving legally. On top of that, when I tried to find a legitimate insurance provider, I discovered that my quotes were now significantly higher due to this mess he caused. When I confronted the agent about the issue, he was completely unhelpful--first avoiding my calls, then brushing me off, and ultimately offering me $ out of his pocket as if that would make up for the damages he caused. He admitted to "assuming I would register my car in state of VT eventually" (which was never mentioned in our discussions) and told me I should "just explain to the police officer if I get pulled over." This is completely inappropriate and reckless advice. After I filed formal complaint with State Farm, she had the courage to lie about this whole event and how everything happend. I would strongly recommend avoiding this agent at all costs--they are incompetent and dishonest and will leave you to deal with the mess they caused on your own. Save yourself the stress and go with a reputable, licensed insurance provider instead and avoid State Farm and this office!
