Absolutely disgusting experience. If I could give zero stars, I would--actually, negative stars if that were an option. I went to Erin Milan Salon for help with my tape-in extensions, and from the second I walked in, it was downhill. Erin, the owner, immediately made a scene over a faint marijuana smell--something that could've been handled like an adult. Instead, she sent her husband Sergio to spray me with some mystery "odor eliminator" like I was an animal. Then this same man had the audacity to peek down the back of my shirt and ask if I had more tattoos. Creepy doesn't even begin to cover it. The appointment itself was a nightmare. Erin left bleach on my scalp so long it literally peeled. My hair broke off in chunks from her total disregard for basic safety with chemicals. Instead of apologizing, she spent the appointment insulting me and my appearance--at one point sarcastically asking if my attorney did my hair. Real classy. This place is a circus. Erin is rude, careless, and full of herself, and her husband is a walking HR violation. The only decent people in the building were the assistants, and honestly, I hope they find a better place to work. Do yourself a favor and go to Annex Hair Studio instead. It's three minutes away and run by people who actually know how to treat clients with basic human decency. read more

Unfortunately I had the worst experience ever at this salon.. I just recently bought a house in riverbank. My daughter wanted her haircut . I always get my hair done in the Bay Area. My girl could not see my daughter soon because she's booked until April. So I looked on Yelp to see if there was someone close to our house that could see her sooner. I saw that Erin Milan Salon had good reviews so I called & I was able to get her an appointment the next day. I had a little trouble finding the business. My navigation took me the double tree parking lot. I called and was told that they were located across from Scewers. So when I got to Salon I explained to a lady , I think she was the owner , what I wanted. I showed a picture and we both agreed that would look wonderful on my daughter. I asked for someone who is great with that style. She said she had the perfect person. I forgot the ladies name, but I showed her what we wanted, I showed her a picture . I told her we wanted a short shag . I wanted to stay with my daughter and asked if I could sit down next to her. The lady told me there was no waiting area and I could not stay due to Covid. I should have left right away. She's my minor child I should have been allowed to stay with her . So I left to Target . While I'm at Target I get a text from my daughter saying she's going to start crying and how her hair is not what she wanted. She sent a picture & I snapped. I could not believe what this lady did to her hair . It was not what we wanted. The bangs were pixie , and the hair was super short. It was a boy haircut. And not even a good one. There was a big cowlick in the back of her head. When I got to salon my daughter ran out to car and started bawling her eyes out. And then a man came out and started talking to me . I told him I was not ok with my daughters hair. That it was not what I asked for. They ruined her hair. He kept telling me that it didn't look bad , I told him that it doesn't matter what he thought , it matters what I thought. What my daughter thinks. She's in the car crying, having a anxiety attack. He then tells me that it doesn't look like picture but sometimes it doesn't come out like picture. Not true! When I show a hairstyle & explain in detail what I want then I expect my hair to look like that . I've never had a problem, in my 43 years of life. I've always left Salon happy & feeling like a million bucks!! So he said I didn't have to pay for her haircut. That doesn't make the situation any better. What I wanted was a super girly, feminine short shag. What I got was a super short bad boy's haircut. I'm surprised this lady has her license. Hair looks horrid. My daughters self esteem is gone. She doesn't even want to go to school. I made the worst mistake by going here. read more

This experience happened June 2022. I made an appointment to get my hair done for my wedding day. I was very excited because I saw so many great reviews and have heard about the beautiful styling done at this particular salon. Day of my wedding, my mother and grandmother dropped out of my appointment to have their hair done somewhere else and told me last minute. As soon as I got to the salon (it was an early appointment), I let the staff know what had happened. They gave me a lot of attitude, rolling their eyes and raised their voices at me for my 2 relatives dropping out. It was out of my control and these idiots are yelling at me on my wedding day. I was already stressed as it is and these people are making things worse. The stylist who curled my hair and assisted me with my veil did a great job. When I went to the front desk to pay; I believe it was the owner who continued to give me grief for my family dropping out. I'm standing there paying them for my hair and my wedding ceremony starts in a few hours. I make sure to let people know my experience and to go somewhere else to get their hair done. They don't do what you ask them to, they just do whatever they want. Was charged extra for toner for some reason? Hair looks nothing like what was asked for. Won't be going back. Responding to you: why were we charged $65 for toner when typically that's included in the price of the service? And the hair color is all one color. I understand taking a couple sessions to get it lighter but we asked for a balayage and it came out all one flat color? That's not what was asked for and I've never been to a salon that charges for toner. read more
